My husband and I were fortunate enough that when we were looking for a house, we were able to take our time looking and because of that, we were able to find the perfect house - for us. Hands down, I couldn't imagine going through the process with anyone other than Julia. My MIL is a Realtor in Ohio and I don't know how exactly her search to find us a local Realtor lead to Julia, but it was spot on. We had a specific area we wanted to live in and after far too long searching, we didn't find anything. We expanded our search location-wise and after all was said and done, we went back to our original requested area. It just took time. We ended up buying a foreclosure and had a ton of hiccups along the way. Basically, everything was done the hard way (not because of us or Julia, but because of the banks) but Julia was always just a phone call away and always there to answer questions and give guidance. I don't ever plan on moving, but if the time ever comes, we'll be using her services again and she comes highly recommended!

I have since built a home with another local builder and find that my opinion of SAH has softened and, even improved based upon the lackluster customer service and responsibility taken by that new company. Building a home and hiring subcontractors is difficult work and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Yes, I did have problems with the roof on the home (for years) but SAH did take accountability and try to resolve it a few times and paid. While we did argue with them about some things (and I now know this happens with EVERY new build) during the build they backed up their work with me and even did some repairs to my hardwoods and paid for me to get a dehumidifier under the home in the crawl about 5 years after build when the home had some issues related to sweating. Working with their new warranty person - even years later - was easy and she was happy and willing to answer simple questions regarding vendors when issues arose from normal living/wear and tear so I could reach out to those vendors myself to get my home repaired by those who originally built items in the home. In the end, my home was beautiful and held up in style throughout the years and SAH is still building beautiful homes and constantly trying to improve and provide their standard style with improvements and updates. I am impressed with the changes they've made and I look back on their accountability and willingness to come take a look at issues and engage with me over things YEARS later that proves they try to stand by their work. This means a lot and other local builders do not offer the same I assure you.

I don't know if it's because my house only cost about 572,000 which is on the lower end of what they build that maybe they do not care about me as a customer. The emergent issues I have had since moving in have been fixed but the issues found during my walk through have yet to be addressed. I am told over and over again I'm sorry I will make sure it gets taken care of. after three in a half months my issues have not been addressed and my last email has even gone with out a reply. I'll say this if you are not happy with something do not close because it will not be fixed after they already have your money and they will be moving on to the next house.

In my opinion, this feels like the equivalent of strong-arm robbery. What makes this even more frustrating is that the previous property management company never charged fees like this. If the property owner decided to switch management companies, why should tenants suddenly be forced to absorb additional costs that never existed before? I did not choose to change property managers, yet I'm expected to pay extra simply because they took over. Charging tenants hundreds of dollars for minimal administrative changes feels excessive, unfair, and completely unnecessary. A lease renewal should not come with a costly fee when the agreement is essentially the same as the previous year with only updated dates and terms. I'll post a copy of all these the fees they charge and you not believe it!!! Renters Warehouse is nothing more than fast food property management. If you cross a piece of property and this company is managing it stay away from them!!

Not only was she there every step of the way, but she provided us with the best home inspectors. The home inspection was a detailed written report to include very clear color photos and videos. Our contractor was able to work directly off the report as well. Without Bonnie's detailed assistance and going that distance my wife and I would have ended up with a money pit. We missed out on a serious buyer because of a mishandled contract, and when we requested to be released from our listing agreement, it took days--and eventually a retainer payment--just to get a basic response. Even after that, the release was not processed promptly, and our home has remained listed without our consent. As of writing this review, seven days after our initial release request, the release still has not been finalized. This has caused serious disruption to our move, impacted our ability to secure financing on our new home, and added unnecessary emotional and financial stress to an already time-sensitive situation. Based on our experience, I won't be recommending Pamela Brown to others.
