2 star service and 5 star wine. So 3 star overall. The first experience 7 years ago in their tasting room was fabulous! Fast forward to the last couple of years. The wines are still some of the best in the valley, but on the pricier side. They opened up a larger tasting room in Manson. The space nice and atmosphere could be nicer. I say that because the tasting room host is abrasive, makes you feel unwelcome, and very disorganized. Hence the service was poor. The first time we went into the new tasting room it was super busy so I cut him some slack when he didn't bring our food order for a special dish that the owner made and the fact that we had to keep asking him for our next tasting even though we were right at the bar in front of him. I also observed him being equally abrasive and equally scattered to other club members trying to pick up their wines. The second time we visited the lack of customer skills just pushed me over the top. No matter how good the wine and how sweet the owners are it wasn't worth the stressful experience. read more

It was a slow Saturday in Manson but one would have thought it was Crush weekend; the server was distracted, disorganized and more concerned about a group of 8 people ("Three of whom are members") who were coming in that day for a tasting. Okay...what about the six customers who are here now? We ordered pizza from the clay oven kitchen next door and it came before we were served our second pour. The place seems to have an identity issue. Logo is "gold"'and professes elegance in wine. The only decor in washroom is a candle on the counter. Clothing for sale sports a dragon and a logger. Mismatched branding images. Outdoor seating next to Main Street. Tasting room is spacious with plenty of room for COVID spacing and they allow Seating at the bar. The wine is more expensive than what we tasted at other Chelan wineries. I will have to rethink my membership. Disappointing read more

When you go in, they say they only intend to serve wine club members and they act like you're doing them a favor if you want to buy or taste their wines. I don't intend ever again to buy their wine. Some good wines and they are carefully operating during these difficult times. My favorite wines were the Dolcetto rose and their Sabrina (Riesling and Gewurtraminer blend). The patio where they served wine was very comfortable. read more

First I'll begin with the staff, very knowledgeable and people oriented. While we were tasting, the wine maker came in and visited our table. Now for the wines. OMG!!! They are wonderful! No, beyond wonderful!!! The fragrance of the reds are unimaginable. You could almost just hold a glass of wine and enjoy the smell of it without sipping, almost. Oh, C&R Sandidge, your wine is delicious, no doubt. Your guy behind the bar though, he left much to be desired. Immediately he rubbed me the wrong way when he quite candidly answered the 'Where's Pete? question with a 'oh, he was fired.' That's just rude. Obviously, if customers are asking 'where's Pete?', they have some relationship with the guy. So why trash him? Why not just say, 'he's no longer working here'? Then, later on in the tasting, before the 5th and final tasting, he served a delicious chocolate-covered caramel. Yum. I was wined out (don't judge) by that point, so I declined that final tasting. Instead, I asked for one more chocolate-covered caramel. I got a loud and resounding 'no' and instead he suggested I go next door and purchase one for myself. Wow. Well, I did go over there and buy a small bag of chocolate-covered caramels. The bag with 10 caramels set me back $1. So wait, let me just process this for a minute... so the tool behind the bar refused to give me one more piece of chocolate, which would have costed him about 10 cents? After foregoing one of the tastings, worth $2.50 to a customer? What a jerk! C&R Sandidge, wine tasting is about the WHOLE experience. Service matters. I won't be back. read more

Had the unfortunate experience of walking into this place on a sunny Saturday afternoon just as they were opening. The guy behind the bar barked this at us when we were barely two steps inside the front door, "Tastings are $15 and you can't sit there, there or there!"Pointing to tables about the room. One thing was sure, this guy cared more about his own hairstyle and his bullshit ego than he did about running a successful welcoming business where patrons would give him money for simply seating someone at a table and showing them a menu... I'll never ever buy this wine and I hate that I had to create a Yelp account purely to warn people about this 1/2 star experience. Potential guests beware. read more

Cute little "winery" in a mini food snoby mall. Little shops with much to look at and buy. This was the only location open on the wednesday prior to thanks giving and even an hour prior to closing was happy to give us tastes! We found some delicious choices - the Gewurztraminer (end with a hint of coconut), Caris Red Wine - wonderful table wine, Triumph - omg - amazing - and of course, expensive, Stone Tree Red was tasty as well. Great wines, cute location, nice staff - they even pair the wines with cheese that you can purchase in the shop down the street. read more

This winery does charge for tasting but included in your tasting is a tasting of the local hummus with chips that all bring out different notes in the wines. Not to mention, incredible service from the tasting room manager, who is so welcoming and attentive. The wines here are exceptional. I became a wine club member on my first visit. The Triumph is exactly that, the KISS is so delightful and refreshing. I always splurge on their Port style because it satisfies all of my dessert cravings in every sip. Don't judge me because I could drink the whole bottle if someone let me. Great winemaker that I brag about to all my wine snob friends. Once they try this place, they are convinced as I am, that this is a winery that deserves the accolades. read more

This is one of the best wineries in the Chelan area. Ray Sandidge is a genius with his bold reds and his Bordeaux-style "Tri-Umph" could easily be one of the best wines I've ever had. Try this place in Manson and you won't be sorry- this is Washington wine county. read more

Wine is spectacular... tasting room manager(grey hair/black glasses) isn't fabulous but I'd suspect with wine this good and at it's price point they'll improve their tasting room experience. FYI. Wine club has lots of rules so think twice before joining. If you bring a guest they'll be treated as a "non member" Tasting fees is $12, higher then any others around Chelan so be prepared. Our experience today wasn't enjoyable but when it was brought to the off site managers attention she went above and beyond to fix it. This is the best tasting room experience in Chelan period. We visited for the first time on a recommendation from a host at another winery and by the end of the day, we were club members. CR Sandidge was my first stop in central Washington wine country last weekend during Chelan Nouveau, and it did not disappoint! Lots of free cheese, crackers, and extras to try, great wines, and a cheap $5 tasting fee. You can also go next door and taste olive oil, vinegars, and cheeses for free. The coconut cheese was an interesting option for sure. All in all really nice staff, wines worth trying, and a really convenient location on the main drag in Manson with a private lot to park in. We had the best time here late Sunday afternoon... stopped by on the recommendation of Lake Chelan Winery and were so glad we did! The tasting room was packed, so Brogan offered to serve us in the seating area outside the main tasting room. This guy made our day - funny, personable and chill. The winery was pairing wines with chocolates from the little shop in the same building and OMG - it was amazing! The shop had closed for the day already, but the chocolates were so good we had to go back the next day. CRS makes incredible wines and I can't wait to go again the next time we visit Lake Chelan. read more

Found their tasting room by chance in Manson. Liked their wine so much that we joined their wine club and purposely asked to not have it shipped to our home each quarter so that we have another reason to visit Chelan in the winter. The 2011 Devil's Smoke Stack port is our favorite and only available for purchase at the tasting room. read more

This is hands down my favorite winery. If you are in the area don't miss it. The tasting room is small and simple, and beautifully done. There isn't any food so eat at Karma first. I like to make this winery my last stop, but be sure to save some time for it because they offer quite a long list of wines to taste and you will want to try them all. I even love their port, which is something I would never drink made by anyone else. Their wines really stand out with bold rich flavors. I wish I could afford to still be in the wine club and plan on rejoining as soon as I can. read more

today was the second time stopping here (was there last year) and received poor service both times. first time we were never even served. today we were dismissed to a table and waited for our first pour. glasses were empty for 10 minutes before the second pour, after waiting over 10 minutes for the third pour we just asked for our bill so we could leave. will not return to this winery. read more

We had been here before maybe two years ago and decided to stop again after having lunch next door. I was the designated driver so I didn't officially taste but my wife let me have a sip or two ($5 tasting fee waived with purchase). The Gewurztraminer was very good and so were all the other reds, though the Triumph is quite expensive (probably worth it). The other reds were $20 to $25 for non wine club members. My wife decided to purchase the KISS which was excellent but we will be back and am considering joining the wine club. read more
