I found it odd that they wanted us to pay for the tasting before we got service- it's awkward to tip before you even get anything and honestly made us not buy bottles at the end because we didn't want to go back inside to make another transaction. My friend and I found a nice spot with a view to enjoy our tasting. The chairs are nice and have little wine glass holders! Our server brought us out one taste at a time and we liked the pacing. The wines were delicious and we were so happy with the tasting! While the view is nice, it's completely obstructed by power lines, ruining its instagram-ability in my opinion. It's also pretty family friendly and there were some loud games of corn hole happening and some other chaos. We didn't mind, but might not come on a day where we were trying to relax. Overall a decent experience!

The rosé and Syrah were both delightful and I ended up going home with a few bottles. They seem to be somewhat strict about making reservations, so we called ahead. We got there 5 minutes early and still had to wait a bit before we were seated. The staff tried really hard to get us to go sit in the open seating tent (I swear they asked us like 3+ times if we wanted to), but it had no view, was dark, and was full of kids. Def recommend making a reservation so you can actually enjoy the view and ambiance! We went in the winter so all the doors were closed and we sat inside. It was a little stuffy and loud, but we also went on a pretty crowded day. I can imagine the deck and outside area being lovely when the weather is warmer!

Let's cut to the chase - the food and the chef at Sigallo are top notch. I've passed by this place…read morea dozen times thinking it was a mere wine tasting place. I heard from another winery that the chef at Sigallo was the real deal, so the missus and I stopped by for a meal. What a treat! A Caeser salad kicked us off - great flavor and a perfect starter. She ordered the shrimp grits, me the roasted chicken. Her plate was chock full of plump tasty prawns, with delicious pancetta bits atop a creamy bed of grits (much too smooth to be grits). Adorned with crispy zuchinni, it was just wonderful. My rosemary roast chicken was terrific. More French inspired, it was juicy with a flavorful crisp crust and the best crispy fingerling potatoes and roast carrots, the bernaise style sauce was equally tasty. We've tried the Bistro in Chelan which we love, but this meal was equally special and the value was terrific - each entree $20 or less. We're excited to see what other things they produce. Don't be fooled by the sign - this is a first rate kitchen. The red wine pairings were solid (less a fan of the whites), but come here for the food!

They had literally nothing from the photos and even pics added from the business owner. I thought maybe the menu changed seasonally or something but the waitress we had didn't even recognize the stuff and said it was probably from one of their other restaurants... I wish this stuff was accurate because the menu we were presented with was a let down after seeing the amazing things online. I will say, however, that everything we got was good. The steak bites were yummy (that sauce!) and my friends that shared the fried chicken sandwich were pleased and that thing was massive. Our cesar salad was also enjoyable. I just wish we had a different experience about the menu and things we got excited about ahead of time. I haven't experienced a Yelp profile being soooo inaccurate before.

So, we came here instead and had our own little taste testing session with a flight of cider. And wow! These were so good. And each one tasting unique and very flavorful. In the end, we chose a winner, and we all chose differently. There is a cider for everyone it seems! As a bonus, we walked out with some tasty gelato as well. This was a memorable stop for us and will come back again someday. Highly recommend!

We came to eat lunch and learn more about the cider press experience that we read about online. From the online description, I wasn't sure if it was $95 per person for the press, or if the price was flat regardless of how many people join in. Good news--it's a flat rate. You get 10 half gallons of cider. At first, we were hesitant to commit to that much cider because the shelf life is less than a week, but the staff explained that you could freeze the cider. So, we decided to do the press. Before pressing, we had lunch at the cafe. It's a simple menu but the sandwich, coffee, flight of cider, and apples with caramel were EXCELLENT. I'm also thankful that we did the flight because it gave us a good sense of what apples we should combine for the press. For the press, you pick the apple from the bin, wash them, toss them in the press, then bottle the cider. It was such a fun experience, and we loved being able to pick the apple combo so that we could get just the right level of tartness. We noticed that the cider did get sweeter the next day, so next time we'll mix in even more granny smith apples. After making our cider, we put it right in the freezer to prepare it for our drive back to Seattle. Then we filled a plastic box with ice to transport it back. It worked well! While originally we worried about what we'd do with 10 half gallons, now we're worried we may run out before the next time we return. It's so delicious and refreshing. In fact, it's really good the second day of defrosting in the fridge because it's a slushy texture. Yum! We also got a 20 pound box of cosmic apples for $10, and they were delicious too. All in all, we were super impressed with Cider Press. Great products, excellent quality, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a nice view of the lake. We're looking forward to our next visit! Thanks Cider Press!
