Great location for student fitness activities…read more UTEP is lucky to have a place where their staff and students can work out in a fully equipped gym, play basketball or volleyball, or other indoor sports (i.e. indoor soccer). We were able to access the facility via the FC Locomotive Youth Soccer program, where my kids got a chance to practice futsal with Coach Ellis. They had fun running drills and keeping their skills warm after a long winter break. They have a cardio room on the third floor, a weigh room on the second, and on the ground floor (basement) they have the floors for team sports and activities. If you need the space you can sign up for it, and if it's not reserved, then it's first come first serve. The kids had fun, and practiced in a safe warm facility during a January here in the El Paso western valley.

On FSN sports website it says Open Gym Tuesday & Thursday starting "January 8, 2028" but obviously they need to update their website. As well as sending them a message on Facebook only to get ghosted after one message. The facility itself looked amazing and would have been a great place to play. Management needs to update their content and get a responsible person to answer the phone and facebook.

It was a busy day and my daughter and my husband went in and waited close to 40 minutes to get their turn. They sat patiently on the bleachers with their gear. Same players were going back and forth to each cage. A couple of families came in after my daughter and they were helped right away and got them started batting. Not once did they offer to help my daughter. My husband got fed up and asked one of the parents if they were done. He didn't hear him so my husband had to raise his voice to get his attention. Apparently this person did not like that and got on my husband's face and told him there is no need to be rude. Two other male parents joined in against my husband and got one of the workers involved. At this point my husband was furious explaining the situation not only to the worker but everyone else who was there. He will certainly put in a word with Andy the manager who apparently was not there. Sadly they have lost buisness with us because of this.

The pool offers basic amenities and basic " meh " changing rooms. The aquatic center also contains a small pool for children, a large slide, as well as two children's slides. The aquatic center also has an enclosed picnic area with BBQ grills which are shaded by tents as well as having two regulation sized volleyball courts, one sand and one grass. The area is available to the public as well as for party rentals. The pool is suitable for competitive swim events and is centrally located within the park which makes it an attractive facility to schedule and host events.
