Phone number, license plate, make and model of my vehicle which can be gotten by scammers at any time. I disregarded the calls. I ended up getting a letter from an attorney about the charge which was $21.36. This was from a toll road in Kansas that I traveled through several months before. Not Texas!!!! I got online and paid the money but before the website would allow me to comp payment, it forces you to opt in to receive texts AND emails which I'm sure is being sold to whomever. That being said, know your laws people!!!! The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) is a 1991 U.S. federal law that limits telemarketing calls, robocalls, auto-dialed text messages, and unsolicited faxes. Regulated by the Federal Communications Commission, it protects consumer privacy by requiring explicit consent before businesses can contact mobile phones or residential lines using automated systems. They absolutely will not accept payment until you agree to getting spam calls which is a violation of law!!
