So when we moved to NW Arkansas, I did just that. One of only a couple of highly recommended dentists was Dr. K. During our first visit, I was blown away with his thoroughness. He then talked about his philosophy of dental care. Really pleased! Then I had the corner of a tooth break off. He got me in, evaluated the situation, then made a 3/4 crown (I think). He and his assistant were very careful to match the color. I highly recommend Dr. K!

I was really impressed with his kindness, knowledge, and thoroughness. There is one tell-tale sign of a great dentist: all his staff - from reception to dental assistants - are treated as valued colleagues and not just as the ​hired help. For technical reasons, my stay plate was difficult to fit. Dr. Kolokithas spent lots of time and effort to get it perfect for my requirements. I have not been to such an attentive dentist in years. Needless to say, I switched to Dr. Kolokithas two months ago and have had several appointments since. I am very happy with that decision.

The dentist seems burnt out and several of the dental assistants seem detached and rude for a career serving children. The front desk staff is also cold and indifferent. Maybe I had too lofty of expectations for a pediatric dentist office. Maybe I was too hopeful when seeing the fun Choo choo train. I brought my kids here, they quoted me over 1000$ worth of work just for my daughter. They said she…read morehad cavities on all four new permanent molars and a few other teeth. I was shocked because I have always taken my kids in every 6 months and previously she had none. We had just moved here and this dentist was new to us. I took her in two other places for a second and third opinion and each place said she had ONE cavity. Be VERY CAUTIOUS!! I can't believe they almost did unnecessary treatment on my daughter and they were going to put her under! The other place did the one cavity with no sedation!! We have since been back in for another check up and NO cavities!
