From the moment we walked in we were met with excellent customer service. Our waitress Amber was very attentive and explained the menu well! Our order came out quick, hot, fresh and perfect to order. Amber did not stop the great customer service there, she remained attentive to our needs providing refills while checking on us. The food was amazing and the whole family enjoyed our meals which is rare when you have teenagers! The cinnamon roll pancakes, crepes, biscuit and gravy, breakfast burrito and breakfast 222 were all hits with the family. My husband and I wanted to try a new place on our anniversary. Boy oh boy are we happy we tried this place out! Everyone I have bring to this place becomes a fan. Their food is always good. I have yet to have a bad dish. The staff is always nice! And they are always busy when we go, this is because they are awesome! Every time I come here , get into town from Georgia, my daughters and I come here so this will be my very last although, we ended up leaving in a not so good manner, we waited for over hour still never seated, there were people getting seated that came after us , and waitress came back to tell it was going to be a longer wait time because they was short on cooks, which wasn't a problem but this is like the 3rd time going here and something like this happened, so I asked to speak to manager, she lies and tells us that there no manager in at this time, I calls over to another location, spoke with the manager there he tells me to call back and asked to the manager , in which she was there , she never tried to fixed the problem, she tried to cover the problem up nevertheless I will never go back here ever again, it's makes me feel like because my skin color!!! This is one of my new favorite breakfast places. We had the Southwest Carnita Benny on the monthly special, country fried steak biscuit & gravy and 2 slices of French toast with strawberries. We literally went back for breakfast the next day, it was so delicious. The French toast was fluffy and sweet and the carnitas under the eggs Benedict was full of flavor. The price was also pretty reasonable for the quality and amount of food we got. My only gripe was over the refried beans which tasted like canned beans and, in Arizona, that's just unacceptable. Breakfast was unbelievable. I had the huevos rancheros pork carnitas and my boyfriend had the pork carnitas skillet. Typically he uses hot sauce with pretty much everything, but he decided that the flavors were way too good to add anything extra. Both meals were absolutely delicious, well seasoned, and fresh. It was supposed to be a Happy Mother's Day when I took my mom to your restaurant. We were told an hour wait for a table, totally understandable because it's a busy day. The hostess worked hard to get us to a table within 45 minutes. Shortly thereafter we ordered, & then proceeded to wait 1 1/2 hours for our food because of someone's mistake. Everyone wanted to blame someone else for what happened & why it took so long, and no one wanted to just take responsibility. I'm thankful that something was comped, but I don't see how you can honestly expect your customer to pay for anything when it took that long to get their food. Unfortunately it's a moment with my mom that I won't get back. The food was delicious, the hostess was AMAZING, but I don't know that I will ever return to Crackers. Started my birthday weekend with breakfast at Crackers, a place we have enjoyed in the past. First, there are no birthday discounts of any kind. So don't go there for that!! Anyway, my husband has never been to Crackers and I was excited to have him try it we ordered drinks, he got a spicy bloody Mary and said it was good. I got a flight of mimosas which were delicious!! We ordered our breakfast, he got biscuits and gravy with sausage and two eggs. I ordered the yummy California Eggs Benedict, he got his food .... 5 minutes later, the waitress delivered my plate ... wrong eggs Benedict, took plate back ... 10 minutes later, I saw her point to our table to deliver a plate manager was holding, he delivered it to a table about two tables away from us. It sat there without the people sitting at table saying anything. About 5 minutes later or longer, waitress came out to their table, they said it was not their order, she picked it up and DELIVERED TO ME!! I said I was not going to eat a plate that sat at their table for Iverson ten minutes ... she took it back. A few minutes later, she came up and said OH your order ... n y husband was done eating, I was pretty tipsy off the mimosa flight, since I didn't eat anything ... I told her to forget my order take off bill. She apologized ... then about 5 minutes later, Manager came over, said the bill was taken care of for our troubles and apologized. and the only reason why I gave them 3 stars!! We had breakfast here at about 10 am on a Sunday (right before we were heading out of town back home to California) and granted, it wasn't the perfect time to come to breakfast. They were super packed and had a line out the door!! However, we left our name and hung out with the rest of the people and before long (about 20 minutes) we were seated. The waitstaff was all courteous and efficient. There was some difficulty with the kitchen putting up our food in a timely manner but the waitress quickly fixed that. They were extremely helpful with our child (we had a four year old) who was being a bit picky with his breakfast. They replaced his egg with a scrambled egg at no charge and we greatly appreciated it! Kids! I got the 2 egg traditional breakfast with sausage (they were delicious!!) and my guy got the berry blintzes or crepes, I can't remember which they were. Looked like dessert to me!! Everything was delicious and served at the right temperature. They keep a variety of creamer for your coffee on the table as well as jams (I tried the blackberry!) Another great perk here is they leave a pitcher of hot coffee on the table for you so you don't have to beg for a refill, it worked out perfectly and we each had three cups of coffee in quick succession with NO waiting. A favorite breakfast place of ours. the foos is fresh, quality of ingredients is high and the staff is always friendly. the menu has really good choices, and they do a good job introducing monthly specials which are differt choices outside the traditional menu items. you can never go wrong picking their frenchtoast or an omlet. I've been here two times and I have to say the food is good, unfortunately the crab cakes are not good at all. I guess, as my friend would say "what do you expect in Az" but I expect to not taste the flour in the cakes! They're breaded and fried, minimal crab taste and plenty of flour. The potatoes are great and so are their pancakes. But I'm definitely not getting the crab cakes again. read more

I really like this location much better than the one I previously visited in Mesa on Iron Ave. This location is well lit w natural lighting streaming in and it seems as if the food even tastes better. We decided to try Crackers after seeing it on Yelp. After waiting for 30 minutes, we were seated. We ordered an waited another 20 minutes for our food. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, the BF had the Spicy Mexican skillet. We also shared some pancakes. My biscuits were delicious, it came with breakfast potatoes that were also delish after I added some salt to them. The Spicy Mexican, was not spicy at all, and under seasoned, leaving the BF a bit dissapointed. However, the pancakes were very fluffy and good. So I have been coming to this little restaurant off and on for several years and it amazes me that they can just keep getting better! So many great aspects to this business; first of all the food, obviously, but they also are a "no waste" eatery , use recycled coffee "to go" cups and use "hay" straws. The Hay straws are so much better that paper because they last and don't get soggy like the paper ones do. Ohmygoodness!!!! Absolutely Amazing restaurant! My family and I love this place. We visit the one on greenfield & Brown. What sets them apart from anyone else is the consistency and quality of their food. One thing I miss seeing, simply as a nice invite into the restaurant, is the Desert case in the front. Without it, the setting feels empty. Thank you Covid ;( , No worries those items are still available on the menu if interested. We are now post pandemic and many restaurants have cut their menus in half. Crackers didn't deviate from theirs. At least not that I have noticed since all my faves are still there. From the breakfast, to the lunch menu, you can't go wrong. Great omelettes, Great Benedict's, outstanding pancakes, wonderful, salads, and amazing soups.. The service is always second to none. If I would have written this 2 weeks earlier it would have been a 4/5 star. We come get every other Saturday after dropping our son off for tutor. We come in sit at the bar, good & quick service with a friendly waitress. Unfortunately this weekend my guy was out of town so I brought my mother with me. It was a bit busier than normal we walked up to the bar area and sat. The waitress said she would be with us shortly, then a man walks up with an attitude and says did you put your name on the list? I said no, I am a regular and sit here biweekly and have never had my name on the list, I didn't know I needed to add my name to the list? He said well it's busy and you need to be on the list. While I can appreciate they were overworked and short staffed they did not have to be so rude. I felt slightly embarrassed that I even recommended this place and brought my mother in as they treated us so poorly. The food was good but the customer service was extremely lacking. I just do not feel like the man went about the conversation very professionally. I also believe he may have been some sort of manager. The food was good and the waitress was friendly however I felt bad asking her for anything as they were so busy and short staffed. Not sure we will come back it may be Time to find another "home" too frequent every other weekend. Again, a simple nice explanation would have gone song way especially after I let him know I am a regular. The regular waitress that's usually in the bar area must have been off.
