We haven't been to Crackers in a really long time but we were in the area decided to stop and have breakfast. We had our dogs with us and they do have a dog-friendly patio, which is nice! I ordered the girls two scrambled eggs with no seasoning, and it was delivered just that way! I had the Classic Eggs Benedict, one of my favorite breakfasts. I asked for the potatoes to be extra crispy and we kinda missed on that but it was fine. They could have used a LOT more seasoning for sure! The Benedict itself was fine, hollandaise sauce was ok...It was a bit pasty tasting and needed a lot more lemon added to it! Wife ordered the Traditional Breakfast with Country Fried Steak and gravy. It was huge and again, potatoes weren't done as ordered and she ordered her eggs medium, which technically they were but also a bit too brown. Overall an ok dish...gravy was thick in lacked flavor in my opinion. We also ordered pancakes and they were good! Hit the spot and they are good size pancakes!!!! Easy for two share.. Overall, service was great and efficient, we had an enjoyable time and we satisfied our bellies!

Wait times are always quick! Today Sunday during Brunch time we only waited 5 minutes. We have never had a bad experience. Service is always amazing & food is delicious. I specifically ordered a water with no ice, and really appreciated the manager coming around asking to refill waters so your not waiting thirsty. This is a great spot for everyone, families, friends, this spot is very welcoming!

Oh Crackers! What happened? This used to be a favorite breakfast and brunch spot prior to the pandemic and even during! While it has been awhile since we've frequented, this last visit was a disaster and I see what others were referencing in their poor reviews. First, the temperature was that of an ice box. It's not that hot yet to be keeping the inside THAT cold. It was uncomfortable. Our waitress was originally nice when she came up to the table and then quickly changed her attitude when we had a request. Heaven forbid. We ordered a cinnamon roll to start as we usually do small entrees and when it came out it was literally cold - like our bodies in the AC haha- and the icing was hardened. We told her that, nicely, and requested one that was hot. That's normal, right? She then comes back with the same cinnamon roll and tells us she microwaved it. We were a bit shocked as it's not proper etiquette to take food to and from the kitchen back to the customer (unless maybe it's a steak at a high end restaurant.) The icing, at this point was hardened and the roll itself was chewy and even more not pleasant and we were reluctant to dig in anyways after her transporting it and seemingly annoyed by us. We ordered Eggs Benedict, which my friend said the hollandaise sauce tasted powdery. My avocado toast was covered in sprouts and just not good. We requested the cinnamon roll be removed from the bill and she rolled her eyes and walked away although she did oblige. Seemingly she had to get manager approval as the manager then walked over to our table briskly. She did not come across receptive and her body language was defensive, half turned towards our table already ready to walk away and just said "everything alright here?" To which we just said "sure...yeah" as WHO would want to explain anything further with that reception. Food was terrible. Service was terrible. Atmosphere was uncomfortable. Plenty of other brunch places in the valley to not have to return.

My first time dining at Crackers & Co Cafe. I was surprised how busy they were on a Friday a.m. I was greeted when I walked in and noticed they have two dining areas. I decided to sit at their bar. Once I sat down I was greeted by Ana, my server. I ordered a Bloody Mary and their chilaquiles with carnitas, eggs scrambled soft and a side of green chile on the side. The eggs were perfectly scrambled and the chips were nice and Chris. However, the green chili sauce had a weird smell to it. It almost smelt like cooked plastic. The flavor was ok but the smell was really offensive. Ana was a good server. I would probably go back again or maybe to one of their other locations in Mesa.

Light and airy atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. Breakfast and children's menu portions were generous, but the same cannot be said for the half sandwich lunch options. Food is tasty but nothing special.

First time here and place was nice a cozy. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my wife ordered the crepes. Our server was Amber and she is very friendly and nice. The food was delicious and we both enjoyed our meal. They have outdoor patio if you want to bring your furry friend.

The food was good and the staff was super friendly during my recent visit. I enjoyed my experience there and will definitely be back. We sat on the patio which was super relaxing given the weather is finally starting to cool down.

On a recent outing for the expectation of some good down home country breakfast I remembered from my youth in the southeast we decided on Crackers & Co. Although it was not our first visit and after having tried many breakfast joints in the Valley, and focusing on wanting a country-style meal, we were not disappointed. Most of their selections are traditional, typical and seen often throughout the Vally, but there's something very different with Crackers! When it comes to how they actually prepare and season their offerings, it's very, very in sync with the South's ingredients, styles, preparation and its seasoning! From their biscuits, pancakes, Benedicts, skillets, omelets, burritos, and tradition, vegan or vegetarian - everything tried has been fabulous! I must say though, that my favorite breakfast of all time is Chicken Fried Steak and Sausage gravy, and they make one, if not the best I've had in the Valley. Not to say there lunches aren't as good, but hmm they are. The Reuben, Tuna Melt Deluxe, Roast Beef Avocado Melt, just to mention a few items we've tried are hard to match. We've been there quite a few times, and their consistency is incredible, not to mention the excellent service we expect and always get. Cracker, you score in my top 10 breakfast joints in the Valley.

This was my first time ordering from this location as I usually go to the one in Mesa. Bf ordered car side pickup for me. The hostess couldn't spell "Stephanie" so my order was under "Steph." Okay? LOL. When I arrived I called the number listed on the parking space. The host replied that he would bring the food out if it were ready and if it wasn't, he wouldn't. Again, okay?? Lol. He came out shortly and provided my order as I gave him my card to process. I checked my order and it was correct (hallelujah!) albeit my poached egg on my Benedict had slipped off and broke :( As for the food- I LOVE Crackers and Co! They have an extensive menu from breakfast- skillets, omelets, Benedicts, muffins, pancakes, waffles, French toast, blintzes, crepes, parfait, oatmeal, to lunch- sandwiches, soups, salads, and burgers! (Although I stick to brekkie!) I've tried most of the breakfast items and there's always something for my mood! The Vatican skillet (sausage, bacon, mushroom, onions, green/red peppers, potatoes, egg, and cheese) was a generous portion that we were able to eat for two meals! I chose to sub the bacon on the California eggs Benedict (English muffin topped with Spinach, bacon, avo, tomato, poached eggs, and hollandaise) for Canadian bacon. Mhmm! Bf thought he didn't like hollandaise but he was proven wrong! Also their country potatoes are crisp and delicious! I like to top mine with black pepper, Tabasco, and ketchup! I just adore Crackers and Co, okay? Check them out, there is something for everyone! (Sponsor me Crackers!)

The service was excellent! My friend and I asked to sit in the warmer part of the restaurant as the AC was on full force and the host gave us a great table. They delivered coffee right away and took our order. I ordered a chicken broccoli scramble. It did not taste very good, maybe the spices on the overcooked chicken. I ate about 15% as I was hungry by 1030 am. Had it boxed thinking my husband might like it. He did not.

From the time I walked in until I was seated, got the feeling that this is not the same Cracker's as before, very somber and non friendly demanor from who I beleive is the new manager. I was seated at a table that already had someone's receipt on it and I'm not getting that comfortable home feeling anymore. So apparently new management was hired and this place feels like the mess hall at Fort Sill, OK.....just rush your food out so you can gobble it down and leave. I have never felt this uncomfortable upon entering an establishment, my server was awesome and provide the best customer service. It was my first introduction coming in that was not pleasant.... You want to feel like you're being welcome into a place and not uncomfortable. But outside that food is still good.

I am a HUGE fan of pistachio and gin so immediately I had to get his drink but it was beyond mediocre. Are we drinking only syrup??? My last complaint is the coconut tres leches dessert.... Do we actually know how to make tres leches or we just naming desserts however we want? Just curious. It came out super hot, steaming more like a molten cake. As a Hispanic woman, I was expecting a creamy moist cake to celebrate my graduation but this was not it as well. Last but not least if the bald manager with the orange shirt wants to eat in the back of the kitchen, not the problem I get it (I work at restaurants) HOWEVER shoving your two index fingers into your mouth to get your debris out was my last straw. The space is so bright and sunny. I love the cute style of the little diner lots of yellows to help you wake up. There is a bar area to sit inside at a big picture window overseeing the Novus Place structure and greenspace. There is a lot of outdoor seating for the nice weather months. They have a drink bar for special cocktail drinks and coffees. They had little league championships on the tvs. The menu doesn't have a lot of vegetarian choices listed but they do have many gluten free options. I special ordered my chiliquiles without chicken with no issues. The waitress even offered to check on the sauce to see if there were any animal based broths in the recipe. The dish was so flavorful topped with sour cream, and very fresh tomatoes and green onions in the salsa. The tortilla chips were perfectly done not soggy like they can get if not prepared carefully. I ordered my eggs scrambled and they were very cheesy and so delicious. I ordered a single pancake as pancakes are my favorite breakfast food. I can say it was perfectly fluffy and tasty and I am picky about my pancakes. My husband ordered a California Omelet he said it was absolutely delicious with very fresh vegetables. His exact words were this was night and day from the first time we came. I am so happy to say that we will definitely be returning, confidently bring out of state visitors, and recommend this cute diner to others. For locals I noticed they offer a day with 20% for students and faculty at ASU. I am very pleasantly surprised by the difference from the first experience. The management was very respectful and receptive. I appreciate it so much when a business can work to make things right. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast experience I really wanted to like this little brunch place in the Novus Plaza. As a vegetarian it is often hard to find good choices at a standard restaurant. Usually breakfast, brunch style is the best for me because I still eat dairy and eggs. I can't tell you how disappointed I was with the food. The menu was cute and had trendy food from their "As Seen on TV" menu from TV shows featuring certain recipes. I had high hopes as the reviews have been overall good. So after searching the menu for a good vegetarian choice I could only find pancakes and had to order my protein * scrambled eggs separately to fill out my meal. Saying the quality of my food was horrendous is an understatement. I haven't seen burnt pancakes since I was making them myself at 10 years old. Not only did they burn them but they served them to me that way. The cook obviously realized it because he put the worst burnt one on the bottom of the stack. I was so hungry so I tried to eat them but just couldn't yuck. . I enjoyed my scrambled eggs and watched my husband enjoy his bisuits and gravy which he said was decent. The server (singular) was so busy. He was running the bar area and the tables. Not totally his fault but he didn't get back to check on us until my husband had almost finished his entire meal and I still had burnt pancakes. He offered to get me something else but there was nothing else on the menu for me and the experience put me off of pancakes. The menu online looked like it had many more choices maybe the Tempe restaurant limited their menu, I'm not sure. I ended up getting a refund for my pancakes and going home hungry. The restaurant itself was adorable, it had a retro-ish vibe and the server really was trying to get to the 4 or 5 tables that had customers at the time.

Now listen... the spot itself is cute. Once we actually got service, our waiter was cool. It just took forevvverrrrr & I ended up having to request cutlery after food was served. To be fair, it was busy, but there also seemed to be plenty of wait staff, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect was. Food-wise: the spinach artichoke dip was definitely the table favorite. My caprese panini was ok, it was sadly lacking pesto which feels a little criminal for a caprese situation. Our friends loved the fancy French toast & I was absolutely there for the prickly pear mimosas The entire brunch honestly felt like it was one dropped plate away from becoming a sitcom episode. One poor new waiter dropped a plate on the floor, then later knocked glasses off the rack above the bar & shattered a couple right next to guests sitting there. I genuinely felt bad for him because you could tell he was having a rough shift. That said, I really appreciated that they acknowledged the long wait & gave us a discount without us having to ask. Both came quickly and was yummy but I was disappointed that I wasn't asked if I wanted the turkey sausage or duck bacon so I forgot to even ask for the duck bacon and I wanted the sandwich specifically to try that. I would have given this a 5 stars if the server was able to advice on what was in the sangria and also reminded me of the meat choice for the breakfast but still all in all a great experience.

Pleasantly surprised by the scrumptious food here! Everything I got was devine! The steak frites…read morewere cooked to perfection. The shrimp ceviche was bright, fresh, and balanced with acidity, sweetness, heat, and crunch. The brussel sprouts were grilled and flavored to perfection! My Gold Rush cocktail, exquisite! My servers, on both visits, were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive! Like I said, everything, perfection! Restaurant is located on the 1st floor inside the Omni hotel. I absolutely love the restaurant layout and decor. It's very chic and modern! They also have happy hour from 3-5pm! Give them a try! They're spectacular!

Our experience at Neighborhood Services Bar + Restaurant, located beneath the Omni Hotel in Tempe,…read morewas unfortunately not a particularly memorable meal. While I can certainly understand the convenience for hotel guests, I would recommend managing expectations if you are visiting specifically for the dining experience. We started with the Chili Chilies, which I was especially excited to try because it's a personal favorite. Unfortunately, the eggs arrived burnt rather than over-easy, sitting on what we could only describe as Mexican masa--almost like an attempt at corn chips. Next came the Hash, but unfortunately, it also seemed to have spent far too long under the heating lamp. By that point, I decided the safest choice for my breakfast experience was simply going to be the poached eggs. I do want to be fair and say that every restaurant can have an off morning, and perhaps this was simply ours. However, between the food being overcooked or seemingly held under the heat lamp too long, the meal just didn't leave the impression we had hoped for. One other thing worth knowing if you're visiting: parking is a challenge. The nearby garages appeared to be reserved for valet parking, leaving us to park about a block away to avoid any possibility of being towed. Overall, I'd probably keep this one primarily on the radar for Omni hotel guests looking for convenience, rather than making it a destination breakfast. Hopefully, our experience was an exception, because the concept certainly has potential.
