He pointed to the next couple of aisles and didn't want to take the time to assist a customer exactly where to find this. I searched and was not able to find what I needed. I asked another Staples employee walking by, she said she would check her computer and let me know if there were any in stock. In the meantime, she cashed a couple of shoppers out and I went up to her and asked if she found anything. She said they don't have it in stock, and I asked her if they had a computer person more knowledgeable to find a capable part. She said I will be with you shortly and was cashing more customers out. Not very good customer service. I ended up leaving and ordering this part on Amazon and even paying the shipping fee.

Well, the manager does. He knows me by "post it girl". This is where I stock up on post its. It may not seem like much to you, but it's pretty darn special to me. No one knows me or recognizes me back home and I LIVE there. Here, I get a welcoming committee. Everyone here is polite and personable. Everyone here is chatty. And everyone here knows, I'm Ericka and I love post its. That alone makes me feel VIP. And as you know, I wear an invisible tiara, so me loves that!! I was shocked. That rumor was totally false: we had not done a job with that printer and we had paid promptly with Adams Specialty in 2012. I reminded Eugene he had done the job for us before and he claimed to have not known that. He then asked for cash payment upfront. We ended up going with another printer with excellent customer service who said he would gladly do the job and at a lower price than Adams. I was stunned by Adams' outrageous, unprofessional, and borderline illegal behavior. (By the way, I am a woman of color with an obviously "foreign" last name. My conversation with Eugene was conducted over the phone.)
