I saw a review about this shop and set out early this morning to check it out. From the review , I thought it was a small place, but in truth, it is quite large and well decorated with plants and nice tables and chairs, decently separated, which I like. I chose from their large menu the avocado toast with bacon. I wasn't very happy that the avocado was cold. I would've preferred it to be room temperature, but it was very delicious. I also had a medium latte to go with it. Another thing I was pleased about is they had a decanter of ice water available. Always thoughtful. They don't have table service. They have counter service, which is fine. As I said, I was early, so there was no line, but by the time I was served and was getting through my meal, the line was starting to form pretty nicely. I think they're going to make a go of it and I would definitely keep going to try it out because there's a lot more on the menu. I also appreciated that there was 20 minute parking across from the courthouse right in front of the shop. read more

I've been wanting to check this place out when I was kid free and it definitely didn't disappoint! It's super open and spacious inside. It doesn't look like anything unique or special. But don't let the lack of decor detour you. They make up for it with their drinks and food! I ordered a creme brûlée latte and it was SO good!! Not overly sweet! I also got their breakfast sandwich with sausage and added avocado. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how thick she was!! It was packed with flavor and tasted super fresh! It was a little messy but SO YUMMY! I also got a baked pumpkin donut with a maple glaze! It tasted just like fall! The girl taking the order was really nice and service was quick! We placed an online pickup order from here for lunch while camping in the nearby Madonna County Park because they offer a vegan burrito and vegetarian sandwich and wanted a break from cooking. When we arrived to pick up the order, we were told the burrito wasn't offered after 11am so they had refunded it and not included it. So we placed another order in store for another sandwich and waited. It's been several days now, and it's clear that the item was never refunded. So not only did the restaurant not bother to call us when they received the order to ask if we'd like to replace the unavailable item with something else, they also were dishonest about the refund and kept our money. Also, if the item isn't served after a certain time, it shouldn't be available on the online app or should at least have a note included about this time restriction. The vegetarian sandwiches were bland by the way, the cashier was unfriendly, and there was a large puddle of water right in front of the pickup area for the half hour or so we were there that posed a hazard yet was ignored by staff--who were mostly standing around talking to one another, as the cafe was mostly empty. The place had big gentrifying-coffee-shop vibes and decor, as you might find in any pretentious, generic coffee shop in LA. read more

I absolutely love this place! It is super cute and has a lot of delicious options. I tried their turkey club sandwich which was amazing! The bacon was perfectly crispy and the sourdough bread was very good too. It is a nice place to work from and grab breakfast and/or lunch! I noticed it gets busy during lunch but I got there right before the rush. The service was amazing, it does take a bit to get your food from my experience but it wasn't too bad. This cafe is across the street from the library. It's such a HUGE asset to Watsonville. I hear they make all their pastries from scratch. They have cookies, morning buns, rice crispy treats, etc. They offer an extensive menu full of things like avocado toast-- where you can choose your own toppings for a small price (I chose bacon). They have beautiful plants, which ad to the ambiance. They play reggae music sometimes, with an assortment of tunes that keep the vibes flowing upbeat. Their staff is soo uplifting and helpful.
