Nadia is the one receptionist who seems to care about this facility and her customers. This gym being an all womens gym is a great concept, and makes for a very comfortable workout. The ambience is amazing, the dim lighting is wonderful. The equipment is up to date and very clean. Sauna and lymphatic roller are the main reasons why I am keeping this membership, thus far. Here are my big complaints with this facility. I am not sure why I am paying $100 a month, for a/c that has been out in this building since I started. I thought this would have been fixed by now. They have 2 portable units that are not cutting it. It is so hot in there, it has to be at least 80-85 degrees. There are supposed to be three showers, when only one has been working, since again starting this gym. One shower!! The steam room is not really a steam room, I don't know what is happening in there, it just smells musty, and steam?, not a true steam room. Also, a daily wellness shot (drink) is included in the membership, since joining I have only got two! Every time I ask for one they have seemed to run out. I get it by the end of the day they could run out, but by 9am! Makes no sense. Also hours could be better. Opening at 8am on the weekends is pretty late. It's nice to go early in the morning and get your workout done with. Last, I have written to the company several times with my complaints, especially being a new member. I was very nice as well. I have received one response back saying the mall is the issue with the a/c, and the showers are fixed. The showers are not fixed, there is one out of three. That is not fixed. And this a/c issue is ridiculous. This is a high price membership for what is being offered. Something has to change or you will be losing a lot of business and for such a great gym/trainers. Don't let it go to waste!

Any other 24 hour fitness is superior to this one, and so are all the other gyms. They don't clean, they don't even provide plastic bags that are supposed to be provided per their own sign in men's locker. Nothing to dry wet clothes. No towel service.!Scale in bathroom is not calibrated which I brought to attention of worker who just smiled and waved it off as if that isn't a major problem for people who depend on the scales.. Machines are broken with no fix signs. NO SIDE RAISE MACHINES. The freaking benches aren't even fully adjustable. It's either flat or inclined. Dumbbells have different handles for same weight (are you guys not a huge corporation, you can't afford it?) AND they keep raising prices and have also introduced late fees that tack on immediately (no other gym does this as far as I know). In conclusion; I'll be taking photos/videos for evidence of everything I can that's wrong with the gym and will be forwarding that to corporate in hopes it reaches shitty management. -Mussa EDIT: sending a cleaning crew doesn't solve the main issues I mentioned. Bring back the clothes dryers, plastic bags, towel service and the name 24 hour fitness. And get some adjustable benches.

Some of this can be controlled by the staff, with deeper and more frequent machine wiping and dusting, but overall it's also the members. I've witnessed members throwing around their trash or being rough with the equipment. Members leave trash in the bathrooms and also mess with the steam rooms and leave bottles of water around. There's only so much a facility can maintain with heavy traffic and turnover, including members who don't respect a facility. The staff is always friendly and I have had incredible health results since I began training with Eugene a year ago. For the first time in 10 years my cholesterol is in the normal range (I don't take any meds and it was always a tick into high) and I'm seeing better muscle definition and tone; vs when I worked out on my own. If you're looking for a great value and access to fun classes, join 24 hour fitness. The Topanga village offers plenty of parking which is free with validation for 2.5 hours with your gym. To the gym, I would recommend better attention to dusting (inches of thick dust), more free weights that are lower than 10 lbs for members to have access to, throw away damaged mats and foam rollers, repair broken machines and lower those blinds in the afternoon so the bike and treadmill runners aren't blinded and overheating by the sunsetting.

This location was renovated and promoted to customers as a top-tier facility, so removing the cycling studio makes very little sense--especially in a market where boutique and luxury fitness clubs are competing heavily for members. The cycling studio was a meaningful part of the experience, and removing it without a compelling reason feels like a poor decision and, frankly, disrespectful to the demographic this facility is trying to attract. People are making a conscious choice to invest in a membership here because they want access to a higher-level fitness environment. When a location is positioned alongside luxury dining, premium ice cream shops, and other high-end fitness retailers, expectations naturally rise. The facility should reflect that positioning rather than take away amenities that helped distinguish it. The handling of the bikes has also been frustrating. Many of the bikes that remain are already broken or appear to be on the verge of breaking because customers continually drag them around the floor. If the equipment cannot be properly maintained or managed, then it should be stored appropriately rather than left scattered around the facility. I hope management seriously reconsider the direction of this location. The staff can be great, but the facility itself needs to live up to the premium experience customers were promised when this location was renovated and promoted as a top-tier club.

I've worked with personal trainers for the past 20 years or so and have found that my current trainer, Ryan at the Calabasas studio, is one of the most knowledgable . His attention to each individual's differences and needs is remarkable. No two clients get the same workout. He makes needed adjustments on the equipment to ensure the client is getting the most beneficial positions and weights and is able to pinpoint an individual's joints and muscles that need special attention.
