After 2 years working out at TPW in Calabasas I can see such a positive change in all over strength and posture! I was uncertain when I began, but am now hooked and look forward to attending my 2 days a week. I've worked with personal trainers for the past 20 years or so and have found that my current trainer, Ryan at the Calabasas studio, is one of the most knowledgable . His attention to each individual's differences and needs is remarkable. No two clients get the same workout. He makes needed adjustments on the equipment to ensure the client is getting the most beneficial positions and weights and is able to pinpoint an individual's joints and muscles that need special attention. Save your time and energy and don't even consider going for a visit. What a scam! The "gym" is in a small office building, it's literally a 2-room office suite with a few machines. There's no fitting room, nothing to wash off and they can't even have music on! This place is ridiculous and will cost you over $500/month for just 2 sessions a week. I have to admit I was skeptical in the Beginning of my program. This is no longer true. The work out works. After two months I do feel stronger and can do my long walks with new found resilience. I am so excited to share my experience at The Perfect Workout.. Not knowing what to expect, I have found what it truly means to have a trainer just for me. carefully watching my every move and my form. Super important!!! No injures here!!!. I love my trainer Raven, she is fantastic, I can't wait to see her 2 times a week, she pushes me to the brink while having the best and most fun 20 minutes in workout history. If Raven is not available Holly is fantastic also, picking up the workout pad to see exactly where I am on weights and seat adjustment, excellent notes are stored there, by Raven. I brought my son to the Perfect Workout in Calabasas with hopes that working out with a private trainer would motivate him and help with his depression. He's been working out with Felicity for a few weeks now and I see an uplifted spirit and his motivation to go out for a walk and seems more encouraged. Felicity has gone above and beyond in her duties to instruct him by encouraging him and sending him instructions on how to stretch at home. I'm so thankful to see that he's feeling more encouraged. I am so glad I walked in the door here! From day one which was just to check it out ,I really had no intention of coming back, just wanted the free stuff to add to my pile of free stuff that someday I might take to heart if I ever found time for me. The trainers and workout changed my mind. I mean what kind of workout could really happen in 20 minutes? Well let me tell you...it did....the exercises had me sweating and trying to breathe and my muscles were being pushed!!!! I'm one of those people who do not particularly like to exercise. But I knew it was time to start taking better care of my body. I have to admit that what initially drew me to TPW was the only 20 minute part. What a difference it has made. I'm stronger and leaner. I feel so much better since I've been doing strength resistance training. And I love working with Holly and Sophie. They are positive and supportive and I truly look forward to working with them. They are very attentive. I feel the difference when I'm told to put my head or elbows up or to lean forward. They are not just phoning it in. I found The Perfect Workout. And it is the PERFECT WORKOUT. I was so discouraged because I couldn't find a workout routine that worked for me. I was too self-conscience to go to a big gym with a lot of muscular skinny people because I was so not that. And even if I got myself there regularly, other than hopping on a treadmill, I wouldn't know what to do. I did not want to take a class, because I would end up not wanting to feel pressured to go. My job is high pressure enough. Same with yoga, although I did like that better. Then I read about this program and thought, it's close and it's 20 minutes twice a week. Because hope springs eternal, I mustered up my courage, put my baggy clothes on my baggy body and went in for a trial workout. I worked one on one with Holly, later Raven and Holly, and I realized this is something I can do! It's an extremely intense workout, and yet, while my muscles may feel a little tight afterward, I don't hurt. Their attention to detail to make sure you are not injured, because you are working out the right way, really works. And it's really hard believe me! I thought for sure something really hard was going to cave me in, but its actually accomplished the opposite, it has given me something to strive for in increments I can live with. But more importantly, I'm building my confidence that I'm doing something good for myself, I'm not a quitter after all, and I'm going to be strong, with no excuses. I now have a partner to join me in my efforts to be healthier and stronger, and I couldn't have found a more perfect one. I feel so lucky to have found them. read more

Wow! Sophie is amazing, she really knows how to push people to their limits (beyond what they believe they are capable of). What more could you ask for in a 20 min strength training session twice a week in a private space where you feel completely comfortable in your own skin. Sophie keeps me focused and driven making every minute count. My go to before was Pilates or Yoga due to injuries and not feeling empowered at any gyms I tried. Now I can stop jumping around and get what I need in a safe environment. I would recommend anyone go see Sophie or Holly and see how it changes your life. read more

I have never before found a workout routine that works effectively and, most importantly, that I can stick to until Perfect Workout. No amount of procrastination or excuses ~ anyone can find 30 minutes twice a week. At 58, I was looking for something to turn my body around from being flabby and scrawny from lack of exercise; to increase my muscle tone and bone density. After about 3 months I could feel my body plump up with muscle (in a good way!), and now after 9 months I have definition and strength that I never had before. The trainers deserve all the credit for my consistency (thank you Bryan, Kim and Sandra!!) are always upbeat and encouraging, and I leave feeling as though I have really accomplished something good for myself.
