I never write Yelp reviews. However, after visiting this salon I just had to! I have been getting my hair done since I was 12 years old. I am now 34. I have been to several salons and I must say, Craft is the absolute best salon that I have ever been to! The Salon has a very comfortable and creative feel. It is a great place to go to relax and have fun! The color table was awsome! Everyone sits their while getting their hair done and talks to one another. It's really nice! Natasha is so amazingly talented at what she does! She is the best! She has perfected her styling techniques with using high quality products that no other salon carries in Michigan. I am beyond impressed with this salon! It's drama free, appealing to the eye, they use innovative hair products, parking is free, it's upscale and affordable, the staff is great!!!! The list goes on and on! I am really excited about Craft opening! I was very happy to see how busy they already are! I believe that they will not even have to advertise to get new clients. I came to this salon after some of my favorite hairdressers (Natasha!) started their own practice. Came here and was paired up with Paula who did a phenomenal job curling and cutting my hair. So satisfied with their practice and all the girls are so sociable while maintaining professionalism! Love them! read more

I've gotten blowouts from almost the entire staff at Craft and they're all great, I always get so many compliments on my hair. Sarah has been cutting and coloring it since 2012 and she's the best thing that's ever happened to my hair. As a natural brunette who now has very blonde hair I'm constantly having people tell me how healthy it looks. Sarah is great about knowing how light we can take my hair when I bring photos in while making maintaining the health of my hair the top priority. Britney cuts my boyfriends hair and he's so happy with it, so am I, it looks great! read more

Sarah has been giving me beautiful hair for over 10 years! So naturally when she told me she and Natasha were opening a salon, I knew that was where I would be going for my next hair cut. Though I've only seen Sarah, all of the other stylists seems super nice and I'm always happy with the assistants who wash my hair. The salon has a really cool vibe - it's an old house that's been converted. It doesn't feel like your typical, big open salon - but more intimate and unique. I love watching the unique cuts and colors that other clients get while I'm there. Those ladies are so talented. It's also nice that you can text the salon. You can book online but sometimes I have a question or want to make a change and they're quick to reply. This is awesome because I hate talking on the phone - but if you are phone talker, rest assured, they have one of those too. Overall, 10/10. Would recommend to anyone. read more

I love this Salon!!! Natasha cut a gorgeous pixie for me, dyed platinum blonde. The atmosphere is different than most salons. It's in an old house creating a quaint inviting environment. I felt like I was hanging out with (new) friends having a hair night, joking and laughing. It was really great and super fun! Went in a little nervous, (1st time there and getting new color for 2 of us)We were greeted promptly. They made arrangements so our group of 3 could all be together upstairs. (Our own private party) All 3 of us had color and cuts on very different levels, and all 3 of us left super happy with our results! I personally got a very blonde balayage which turned out amazingly just like the picture I showed Jessica (aka ghost)never before has this happened, needless to say, very happy! We will all be back ! I've been going to Paige for almost 2 years now, and she is wonderful. I show her a picture and she does EXACTLY that. All of the wonderful crew at Craft are simply amazing - they are so nice and fun all while doing a kick butt job. The salon itself is super cool. The color table is a lot of fun! Make sure you color in the coloring book, or grab a glass of wine or even a Strohs! On Saturdays, they have mimosas. If you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing, but all in a fun environment, I highly recommend you get over to Craft! read more

So, we can all agree there are a few salons to choose from in Royal Oak to choose from. My mother did hair, but moved out of state-so I've searched through the RO options. Natasha and Sarah's salon is THE BEST. Everyone at Craft Salon from the receptionist and assistants to the masters are insanely kind and talented. The product line isn't some cheap piece of garbage like other RO salons carry, they are super nice and have become my favorites. My color always gets attention pretty much wherever I go. One little girl told me I had princess hair, which I consider the highest compliment. Mimosas, snacks and great conversation are just bonuses on top of incredible cuts, colors and styles. I even get my brows done here and they are, as my niece says "on fleek". Go here, get free parking in RO (awesome, right?) have a drink and see what all the fuss is about :) #getcrafty read more

So glad I found this salon! Natasha is honestly so amazing and talented!! I've never wrote a Yelp review but I knew I had to leave one for this experience! I was going from black to a blonde which is a pretty difficult process. I walked out with such a pretty caramel blonde which is what i wanted. She really knows what she's doing. My hair isn't damaged at all. I'm new to the area and this is definitely my salon now, I won't be going anywhere else! You really feel welcome here, I love it. read more
