I set up an appointment, expecting an estimator to show up, casually look at the wall, and give me a couple of hopefully, affordable repair options. What I got instead was the owner to show up, listen to my concerns, precisely measure the wall movement with a laser, and only then discuss options and cost. He explained in detail three possible repair procedures with related costs. He then went on to explain the walls would pass inspection without doing anything at all, and suggested I address outside water issues and simply watch that the wall remained stable. With a smile he said he'd be happy to take my money, but felt that caulking and painting is all that needed to be done.
