Ben is amazingly knowledgeable. Enjoyed our flights immensely. Lovely space - I'm sure the patio is wonderful when it is warmer.

Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor and you're able to take your glass to the art gallery and walk around and enjoy your wine. The servers are kind and not pretentious. A Hidden Gem for Wine Lovers in Old Town…read more Stopped into Noisy Water Winery while walking around Old Town and it ended up being one of the highlights of the afternoon. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a really cool art-gallery vibe throughout the space. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time sipping wine and browsing the local artwork. The wine selection was impressive--lots of unique New Mexico wines to choose from, and the tasting flights are a great way to try several different varieties. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, offering recommendations based on what we liked and explaining the wines without making it feel intimidating. We also tried a cheese board which paired perfectly with the wine and made the whole experience feel a little extra special. Whether you're a serious wine enthusiast or just looking for a fun stop while exploring Old Town, this place is definitely worth checking out. Great wine, great vibe, and great service. I'll absolutely be back next time I'm in the area.

We also had the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. The Brussels were very good. A little sticky because of the sweet glaze that was on it. So be careful if you have false teeth. It has a very unique decor up front, with a river rock wall and two River Rock booths. I'm not sure how comfortable they are, but they sure look cool. There's a round bar up front and high top tables in the bar area. Walk a little further back into the dining room where there are standard tables. It also looks like there's another dining room toward the back but I didn't check that out. There's also patio seating in a big courtyard. It is a really lovely patio. Our server started us off with a sample of one of the red wines that comes from their winery. I don't usually like red wine very much, but I did love this wine and ordered a glass. They have a full bar and the other people in my party ordered cocktails. The server brought out some bread and butter to start is off. The menu has a little bit of everything for everyone - - there was some pasta, pot roast, fish, and even a burger. We ordered: *Rainbow trout with mango salsa, jasmine rice, and asparagus. Two of us ordered the trout, but I substituted my jasmine rice with mashed potatoes. *Country pot roast with mashed potatoes and brown gravy *Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and broccolini *Southwest meatloaf with mashed potatoes and The manager came to our table to see if everything was okay. I really appreciate when a manager does that. We had a really nice meal and a nice place and the price was very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this place.

I had the chance to visit during a Yelp Elite event, and it was the perfect introduction to a space that's equal parts art gallery, treasure hunt, and conversation starter. Each room has its own personality and theme, but the common thread is creativity--every corner invites you to slow down and take it in. From intricately designed sugar skulls to unexpected finds like that perfect bottle of wine or a gift for the "impossible-to-shop-for" person, the Lapis Room makes browsing feel intentional and fun. It's the kind of place where you walk in thinking you'll just look around--and leave with something you didn't even know you needed. The Yelp Elite event added an extra layer of energy, with people exploring, connecting, and sharing in the discovery of the space. It felt less like a retail stop and more like being let in on a local secret. Whether you're a local or just spending time in Old Town, carve out time for the Lapis Room. It's not just shopping--it's an experience worth having.

I had been looking for the perfect gift for my son and his girlfriend for quite a while. When I saw that vase in the window I was so drawn to it. When I went into the gallery and met Suzanne she told me about the vase and Ira, and gave me space to get to know the vase. When I did decide that I had to buy it for my son and his girlfriend Suzanne agreed to ship it for me, but that's not all. She even wrote a very personal letter to them telling them about Ira and his background, and how the vase was made. Fortunately it arrived in San Francisco unbroken and they were delighted. Thank you Suzanne for making the whole experience so wonderful. I will come to see you whenever I am in Albuquerque.

Given the gallery's modern focus with local artists, it's likely we'll be finding more pieces in the future. Definitely give this place a visit if you're in the area and interested in art.
