I loved that Proven is GAF Master Elite qualified, and in addition is one of just a few roofers in the Master Elite Presidents Club! But the real proof was the quality and excellence of service that was provided during the roof install. The crew showed up on time, tarped the entire work area to catch the torn off roof and nails, and there was a project manager on site the entire time! He kept in touch by text letting me know where in the process they were, and even texted me photos of the progress! Afterwards, he walked me around the entire home showing me the details of what was done. The property was left in pristine condition, not a scrap or nail in sight! I highly recommend Proven for price, professionalism, and most importantly, QUALITY!!

Not sure what parking lot they get their employees from but they did more damage than the simple job that I hired them to do. I should have posted this back in 2024 (it is currently 2026) when this issue occurred to help you Yelpers but didn't want to impact a legal recourse. The job I hired them to do was to take out a roof ridge vent and replace with regular roofing ridge shingles and install an attic fan, that was all. Did not need 7 employees hanging out on my roof. I had to yell up to them that taking the chimney apart was not included in this work so they bent the aluminum capping back half ass. They did not even replace the ridge vent shingles correctly or enough therefore left exposed nail holes from removing the ridge vent shingles. The photo (see my photos) of this job shows the light of the sky that you can see through one of the holes from the INSIDE of my attic. When complaint was presented to the owner I was told that the holes are too small to let rainwater in!! They also cut the ridge vent shingles right on my existing roof without a cutting board therefore slicing up the existing roofing shingles. The attic fan was the wrong one installed which was a cheaper version. Wouldn't you check the item to insure it was the correct model BEFORE installation?!? Proven contractors also conveniently gave me an additional estimate for $$$$ thousands more to fix the damage that THEY caused. Also owner of this company is very curt and dismissive when approached with the complaint. This company was a never-ending NIGHTMARE so if you hire them you better have knowledge and be the supervisor yourself.

After the paperwork was complete, they gave me a date for install about 3 weeks out. They arrived early and it was appreciated. Ripped out old bulkhead and replaced, in exactly the same place. I requested that they expand the area but they advised against it highly. They talked me out of waiting money on the project. They could have just padded their profit, but steered me in the right direction. New bulkhead is straight and looks great. Go with the composite top cap and there are no splinters, ever. Another good recommendation by Albert. These guys did the bulkhead like it was second nature to them. Seeing them install it gave me confidence that I chose the right company. I hired him to install Mosaic bathroom tile on a small space of about 20 square feet. He said it would be "fine" and presented himself as licensed and insured in NY. NOT the case.. When he was done, it looked like a first timer had done the job. Mosaic tile comes square foot sheets. Not only was the floor unlevel (which I had prepared myself for) but the sheets were CLEARLY visible. I could count the tiles. Certainly the worst mosaic tile job I had ever seen. It was quite apparent (after the haze was cleaned the day after) that the job was unacceptable. I needed to have it redone. I called him and he initially greed to refund half of money. Unfortunately, this never happened. Alas...he disappeared and ultimately did not respond. He is not an honest person and was not qualified to do the work...even though he presented himself as such. Lastly, I hired someone else to redo the work. Looks great but it ultimately cost me double including double tile cost. I wish I endorse Alex, but rather, I have to disuade anyone from hiring him. I gave him the opportunity to make right on his mistake and having him redo it was not an option with his skill level. Trust me. Not any where in the ball park. Instead, he decided to dodge me and go back on his word. He's the type guy that gives contractor's a bad name. Steer clear.

He ruined my new bathtub by not covering it while working, went through three boxes of tile to cover a 5 by 6 area and hung the drywall vertically and covered the outlets. We had a jacuzzi bathtub removed and saw he tucked the old wires behind the new tub, when we told him he can't do that he said he only put them there temporarily. When the new contractor took down the walls sure enough the UNCAPPED LIVE wires were stuffed behind the tub so if there was ever a leak it would be very dangerous. Home Depot delivered everything needed for two bathroom remodels and he never moved anything from our driveway into the house and when it started raining he said it was fine so we had to call someone to bring the items in. Not one line on the tiles he hung did not match up and a week later the new contractor simply popped them right off. When he was being fired he refused to refund any money for his crappy work and could not understand why he was being fired and became agitated saying we were letting him go because we wanted family to finish it and we used him. NOTHING he did is still up! On top of paying him to demo we had to pay someone to demo his work costing us more money. This man should not be working in anyone's home! I have a toddler who sleeps on the other side of the wall where he left high voltage live wires uncapped by a water source. He claims to be licensed but I seriously doubt it.
