I've used Schuler Roofing for our roof for several years now, and they were always courteous,…read moreprofessional, and repaired our roof when there were leaks. Each time they showed us photos of the work that needed to be done and what was done. This time, though, our experience wasn't good at all. From the first phone call we made, we weren't given an approximate time or even a day the roofer could be here for a leak in the roof. He said they were very busy and couldn't tell me. I was told I'd be given a phone call a half hour prior to them arriving. The person (owner?) who answered the phone was abrupt. Three days later (and having my cell phone on me all the time), the roofer showed up without calling me first. Thankfully I was home. He then went to repair the leak but was going to the wrong part of the roof, yet we showed him exactly where the leak was. We tried telling him again but the roofer became angry, grabbed his ladder, and left. Also when he first rang our doorbell, he said he wasn't told about inspecting the rest of the roof, yet in our phone calls, we specifically asked for that and were assured it would be done. I have two other roofing companies I can use who have repaired and replaced roofs in our neighborhood. I'll be using one of them from now on.

Three sliding doors, and our front entrance way and screen door. They resided the entire house with James Hardie siding. Replaced all gutters and leaders. Replaced an outdoor spiral staircase and many other things. Although this was a big job, Proven's pricing was competitive. They gave a multi job discount. My biggest concern was that this is a summer home so we were not around a lot to supervise. I was pleasantly surprised that they showed up when they said they would, and kept to their timetable as closely as possible. As many know when contracting for home repairs that this is half the battle

They did send someone to come check it out on the 22nd and I was told someone would get back to me to do actual repairs.. When I call back today, 12/29 I was told the girl that schedules repairs is on vacation. How is a company that is so well knowned and so responsible have me with a leak for more than 10 days and was told they can MAYBE send someone out in the beginning of January?

They told me to call GAF (Timberline) where the roof would be registered. Apparently no one at Jersey coast roofing ever notified them so the warranty, which should still be partially in effect, is not there. My roof, which should still be covered, is leaking.
