We always appreciate local businesses that are inclusive of well-behaved dogs. The store had a great selection of clothing and souvenirs, and we ended up spending about $75. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making for a great shopping experience. One thing to note is that there isn't a fitting room, but you're welcome to try items on over your clothes, which worked just fine. They only had a couple of these left at the time I was there, and both were on display. They got one down and as they were boxing it up, a small piece broke. They were the ones who realized it. I appreciate their honesty, because I would not have noticed it until I got home or back to the motel. They removed that one from the box and grabbed the other one from the window. They very carefully boxed it up. It's now sitting in my front window at my house. Many gift shops in tourist towns have seasonal employees who don't seem to care. If your a hiker stop by before 6 and there is an employee named Jim there who is a hiking enthusiast. We talked to him and he gave us insight that only comes from experience, he was an incredible help when picking out trails. He told us about frozen lake, and even showed us the route on a map, which not many people know about or go to, and it ended up being one of our best hikes. One great item in the store is their 1$ trail patches. For every big lake, waterfall, or peak you climb, you can get a patch to remember it. They make great inexpensive souvenirs for hikers. They also have a wall of last minute hiking essentials like first aid and survival tools. All together an amazing place, would give it more stars if I could.

I ended up buying a long sleeve shirt and a long sleeve sweater, each monogrammed with Estes park and RMNP, for $17 each. They're pretty comfortable and there were so many designs including in the sale section! They had some non-sale items that also looked awesome, but prices were about the same as other shops ($40-60 for most pieces).

There were plenty of options at different price points, so even though some of the jewelry I loved was outside my budget this trip, there were still smaller things we could take home. The turquoise jewelry was especially beautiful and there were several sets I would've loved to buy. They also had a surprisingly large selection of gorgeous Turkish lamps that were fun to look at. The man working there was very friendly and helpful without ever being pushy. He carried himself very respectfully and gave us space to look around while still being available if we needed anything, which I really appreciated. We ended up leaving with a couple of smaller pieces. I picked out a black worry stone and my daughter found a pink and blue crystal that she loved. There was so much to look at and choose from that I would absolutely stop in again the next time we're in Estes Park. Hopefully next time I'll have a little more room in the budget because there were definitely a few pieces I would've loved to bring home!
