It is with great sadness that I give this store a crappy review... I have been shopping here for a little over 15 years every time I go to Estes. They used to have quality items for great prices so I could gift give like Santa. In recent years, the stitch work And the sewing has really gone downhill! I will no longer purchase from here as I can't afford to keep having things fall apart. read more

So far, I love the MANY purses I bought here, but have only used 1 so far and cannot speak about the quality/longevity yet. I have to agree with the many other posters about the employee's attitudes and treatment of customers. The European male cashier was rude, going so far as to berate me for trying to help him get my many purses into the shopping bag, and making a snide comment about how many I bought. I went to this store twice and bought several items and was never greeted NOR THANKED either time for my business. The older gentleman (owner?) who was there the 2nd time was grouchy, ignored me, and barked at me to go to the other register, all because I was just waiting to get his attention so I could ask him a question. Love the merchandise, but the staff here kinda sucks. It really just feels like they hate tourists, even the tourists who are nice to them and spend lots of money in their store. I've gone to EP about a dozen times over the last 15 years and have NEVER encountered such rude/indifferent staff. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth and don't know if I'd shop here again. read more

Extremely rude owner and shopkeeper. One hat I was looking at had dirt on it. Gross. Very cheap merchandise that isn't worthy of EP. Selection limited. Not worth the money!!! I will never darken the door of this place again. Go to Wynbrier or Brownfield's. This is coming from a local and being a local doesn't matter to this owner. I hope you go out of business. Note to Owner: If you have never seen a U.S.Bank temporary debit card before--as you said (not sure that I would make a habit of revealing this personal ignorance to customers) then maybe you need to be better educated in your field. You get what you pay for, lots of variety and styles. I was so excited to get my cheaply made bags and was confused about the total of everything added up at the counter. When I asked for clarification, they both laughed and the older Ukrainian lady so politely responds with "Are you even from America?" ... the things I would've said. Needless to say, these raging RBF racists don't treat their shoppers with kindness and for that I will not be returning. read more

Love this place! Great for getting Xmas gifts in advance! Everything is leather, it's not all super high quality and the inside lining is kinda crappy but at $30.00 and below the price point is clearly why. I bought 10+ pieces. Thank goodness I was driving home. But I'm a small sorta hoarder... I regretted not grabbing a wallet I was eyeing. This place is not for the animal rights crew but for the rest of us, men included don't miss this place! There were great men's kit bags and travel bags that I shoulda got too! Decent-ish products for price reflecting quality. Not everything is leather. Proselytizing Christian Business with "endorsed" right-wing creationist "news" conspiracy sites on the back of their business card. Free Jesus swag everywhere. I bought a belt that falls apart too easily but when assembled functions mostly as a belt. It was $13. You get what you pay for. We did not return as we do not support Christian businesses. As Atheists proselytizing is against our deeply held religious beliefs. read more

I love to go in this store. It is on the river walk area, and it is always fun to browse through. I bought an organizer purse here and a hat for the hubby. I think total I spent $40 for both. I bought a purse here a few years ago, and it lasted about a year, but was well worth it. Lots of leather bags and belts and everything is under $30. The folks working there make a point of telling everyone that when they enter the door. I love leather bags, so this is the place for me. read more

Great selection and great prices. Lots of complaints are here that focus on the fact that lots of it isn't real leather, but I really am not into wearing dead animal skin on me so that's a plus. The staff was very friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in. They've got tons of unique colors and styles that are not the run-of-the-mill Nordstrom and Macy's products too. This is the leather place to go to if you are on a budget but still looking for unique pieces. read more

Bought a wallet here, and my mom bought a purse. As the name suggests, almost everything in the store is under $30. Even more interesting, each item is priced so that with tax added in it works out to an even dollar amount. They have a few fun and funky things here- alpaca scarves and some cool purses. The store is located right at the edge of the downtown/tourist section of Estes Park, and it is definitely worth stopping in. read more
