When we found out we were relocating to Rome for my job, we were thrilled! And then terrified by real estate horror stories: bidding wars, prices skyrocketing, and properties selling for way above asking price. How could we possibly figure this out, as non-local first-time homebuyers? Bagwells was our first step-we loved their guides, friendly outlook and amicable approach, so much that we looked into the agency and found a wealth of positive reviews. Mandi answered the phone right away and set us up with Craig, who was so helpful to us in understanding the process. They both were always available to us, day and night (and was so quick to get documents to us during negotiation!) Craig was out of town during our first visit, but he arranged for Mandi to show us around-both were wonderfully kind and helpful. Craig met with us on follow-up trips and was always in touch while we were looking at properties. He was happy to check them out for us and send us all the info, and was so helpful with lender recommendations and inspectors for the property. It was a crazy ride, but we were able to buy a beautiful home in our price range and even in the neighborhood we loved the best! Paul and I are soooo fortunate in getting connected with Mandi Bagwell of the Bagwell team at KW NW Real Estate Team during our search for a new home in Rome. We had sold our home in Florida and were returning to our hometown also work. We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Craig and Mandi. We were first-time homebuyers with very little knowledge about how to find the right place. We met with a couple of realtors before Craig, but we knew instantly that he was the one for us. He is honest and hands-on (he even crawled into creepy attics to check insulation for us!), and he really helped to take the pressure off of us. We never felt forced to make an offer and when we finally found the "one" and ended up in a bidding war, Craig walked us through every step of the negotiations, even suggesting that we write a letter to the sellers to explain why we thought they should choose us.
