In the past we've agonized over finding a new contractor or handyman who not only did good work but didn't hit us with questionable or surprise charges, but from the time we first found Eric's business profile on Facebook with examples of his gorgeous tile work and had him redo our bathroom floor, we haven't needed to find anyone else. He has redone the tile in both our bathrooms and our shower (looks absolutely amazing and we are SO pleased with it!), installed toilets, bathroom vanities, painted our hallway and bedrooms, and helped us switch out a ceiling fan with a ceiling-flush fixture with multiple lighting settings, and installed a new mailbox (w/post). We gave him a key to go into the house while we were out of town to install a cover plate for an empty outlet box; he fit it in on short notice so the listing photos for our house would look good. Not only has he done great work on everything, but he's a clear and kind communicator. In the past I've had contractors be very short with me and make me feel foolish for asking detailed questions about aspects of the work we're having done (not great for my anxiety), but Eric has always been extremely gracious and patient. He broke down the process of how the tiling job would go when I asked, he's shown me the most efficient way to patch nail holes and use tools properly, and during the first job we hired him for (as I was just getting comfortable with power tools and DIY projects) he took the time to show me how to properly (and safely) replace the blade on my miter saw! To boot, he's good with our large dogs which is a big deal for us having had many fosters and adopted a few rescues of our own. We can't recommend Eric and his work highly enough. Quality, fair prices, good communication, and trustworthy! Once you hire him for a job, you'll never need to look elsewhere for handyman work and tiling.

My own fault for wanting to support a fellow woman owned business, feeling sorry for her as supposedly a single mom going thru an ugly divorce - she puts that out on Facebook Marketplace by the way although we had a gentleman at one of the job sites identify himself as her husband - and multiple times overlooking signs of lack of experience running a business and what I believe now are outright lies or falsehoods of excuses for delays and unfinished work that I made the mistake of paying for while out of town after being called by Sherry Garcia the company owner and being assured that the work was completed and demanding payment. She I believe purposely underbids the job to get your work and then bumps you mid job by refusing to continue the job if you are unaccepting of the bump. The entire time she's whining about her workers, what everything costs her, her marital problems, what she didn't see when she bid, etc. Multiple incidents of Sherry placing unqualified workers on my job sites that did shoddy work that I found out later were people she hired off Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc the same day she sent them to my sites and when I called her out on the poor work was repeatedly told that supposedly the new hire lied about their qualifications to her (isn't that your responsibility as the business owner to ensure their level of skill BEFORE you put them on a job site???). Assured by Sherry that she personally would come and correct the issues or she would dispatch a qualified person, but have been waiting since Christmas and she has now gone radio silent after telling me multiple times that I was a priority. This is after I've told her numerous times that her shoddy work was the only hold up to my listing the house for sale. Have now had to bring in another contractor to fix her companies shoddy work after 2 1/2 months of excuses for why it wasn't completed. Sherry actually tried to make it MY fault. No Sherry, you got my monies after lying to me about the work being completed knowing I was out of town and pleading for Christmas money for your kids and moved onto your next target. I can tell you that her workers have been numerous and constantly changing. They have made repeated comments to us about her, her work issues, money and much more. We would see them for a day or two and then someone new would pop up. When I've become upset about the conditions that she's left the job sites in, the constantly revolving workers, expensive materials being left outside overnight, unfinished or poorly done work I've called her out on, I've had to repeatedly listen to the excuse of "I told them to.................". Never once has she accepted blame for whatever the issue was. Instead I had to listen to another poor, poor pitiful me dialogue by Sherry and was told how I don't show her respect. You are correct Sherry. I now have 0% respect for you. Poor work included, but was not limited to popped and visible drywall screws from where her and her crew hung new drywall and didn't properly mud and sand prior to painting, poor finish over the new drywall that they hung, cracks where they hung new drywall and again didn't properly tape and mud including a huge one in the new ceiling that they had hung, visible seams in the drywall, spotty painting of I think trying to get away with just one coat on new drywall, poor edge cutting, over painting on trim or walls because of no masking or taping prior to painting, paint on floors because of again no masking and more. Happy to share ALL her texts if you have any doubts about her poor work ethic and continuing excuses. If you are smart, you will run as fast as you can away from her and her company unless you have money to throw away.
