I'm writing this review 3 years too late but it's never too late to ensure someone else makes the right choice just like I did. Craig Mueller was referred to me by a friend, he helped that friend with a DUI and Craig did the same for me with my DUI case. From my initial consultation he told me exactly what I would be needing to do, what classes to take and what the outcome would be. As soon as I left his office I enrolled in the classes needed and finished everything as soon as I could. He attended all my court appearances for me and it wasn't until the very last court date which was my sentencing that I had to appear before the judge. Craig was able to get my DUI dropped to a reckless driving charge. When the judge mentioned all the classes and requirements I'd be needing to complete to successfully close this case Craig walked up to the judge with my certificates of completion already in hand since he had told me from our initial meeting months prior what I was going to be needing, he made sure I was prepared to get this closed out as soon as possible. "This guy talks down to women and made inappropriate jokes around me. Whenever I would ask him to explain something, as this was my first legal experience, he would lose his temper and tell me how the gov't doesn't care about me when i was just trying to understand the process. Avoid this office at all costs! The record sealing they were paid for 11 months ago was supposed to take 4 months. They sent my paperwork to the wrong court. They have had 3 employees leave my case unattended and refuse to return phone calls. Employees of this office have asked me for the phone number I used to talk to the district attorneys office. Straight Garbage After a pretrial hearing Judge ordered my case to be quashed. This asshole refused to quash the case over money say that it was going to trail and he need the money to pay on his sports car. I've seen his car and trust me it's not a sports car by no means. Judge called for a status check hearing on the quash. I was never informed of the court date before of After the date and the court minutes said he resigned as my lawyer on that date. Jude told Craig to notify me of date so that I could have the bench warrant quashed. The court records indicated not only did he not motion the quash but then told the judge he resigned as my lawyer after the monies I paid without notice to before or after the court date. 24 months later I was arrested for outstanding bench warrant during a traffic stop and arrested. While incarcerated I had my spouse contact Craig Mueller after drilling her for more money we agreed to hire him again not knowing what he had done or didn't do when the bench warrant was issued I didn't find out about his disservice untill after going to the clerk of the courts an pulling all of the courts minutes the reference to my case after sentencing. So you may be wondering why was I sentenced when a judge told Creaig Mueller to Quash My Case. Another day another payment another pretrial meeting in his office. At this point I'm still not aware that he refused to cooperate with the discovery by submitting a witnesses video to the discovery he said that the judge refused to see our evidence in the form of a witnessed video that showed me be assaulted by the owners of Costello Property Management and an employee. Craig Mueller after a failed attempt of him extorting more money out of me that day. He assured me that my case was going to trail and if I didn't take a plea deal is that I was going to go to jail for a long long time. I ask Craig Mueller how could he come up with such a statement being that I had Scientific evidence in the form of a video with audio. He said that the judge that was in charge of my case refused to see our evidence. And that if it goes to trial I would lose because of my stature of being over six ft. And my skin pigmtation level I would lose and go to jail for a long time. If I didn't take a plea deal. On the day if sentencing i was unsure about moving forward with the plea deal. I would recommend Mr. Mueller without any hesitation. I had a case almost lasted 5 years, he was always there to help me, gave advise and took care the case. Also, I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of the case. I live in California, his team took good care of the case and I don't have to worry about a thing. There are couple things I want to point out from my past experience: 1. If you want to meet the lawyer, schedule ahead of time in the afternoon. Public defenders can do just the same as a paid attorney to help you settle your DUI. If your DUI was the first and nothing out of the ordinary happened then using a public attorney will be far cheaper (free). Craig Mueller did nothing for me except tell me how great he was and took my money??? Mr. Mueller promised me he would get me off! What a liar!! So the day of the trial he tells me he is double booked and I'm stuck with some other attorney that works in his office to defend me. Guess what?? I got the usual DUI charges!!! What a great team they are....scum bags!! I asked the lady downstairs who processes the paperwork that question and she said YES....Public defenders and paid attorneys usually end up with the same end result.
