To All reading this,
I have had many issues with my teeth most of my life. I have always seen a dentist and a hygienist. I have had multiple periodontists and pretty much every specialty known to man regarding one's teeth. My business partner was a dentist. My father's business partner was a dentist. God rest their souls. I have had a dentist in my life since my first teeth. My grandparents (both sides) and my mother had bad teeth. Of course, I was in the public eye with my job. My teeth were extremely important. My teeth projected my image as well as my company's image. I was in the fine dining restaurant business. What follows was an incredible experience.
My 5-tooth bridge broke after my regular dentist repaired it twice within 2 weeks. Then it broke a third time, and he was leaving to go out of town with no back-up coverage to help me. This is the unbelievable part. He thought I would just wait until he came back into town 5 days later. I decided I needed to figure something else out. And now, Cranbrook Dental Care enters the conversation and their Rock Star "Dr. Lisa Kane". I found Cranbrook and Dr. Kane online, checked their reviews and called. They saw me the same day and stayed after hours without any referral. After being put on hold by my regular dentist (to whom I had spent thousands of $$$) I was seen and treated by Dr. Kane and Lindsey (her assistant) for the first time. I was treated like an old friend. I could not believe I was in a dental office. Everyone had humor and everyone was professional! Amazing!!. What an experience!!! I forgot I was in a dental chair. What an afternoon! My bill was less than I expected but my stress level was soooo much better than expected.
But it gets better. They checked me out doing everything professionally, but they also kept me laughing! Since Dr. Kane knew I was in a rush to get some replacement teeth she had me back two days later for a wax bite. I left this visit with no charge and still with some angst because I had a unique case and had no clue what the final charges would be. She told me she would have to call her lab to find out the quickest they could have a new bridge back for me. She said that I would receive a text later that day when she knew. I felt confident things would work out. They did and I am glad I trusted my instincts.
Dr. Kane texted me that evening that the soonest it would be back from the lab would be a week. I would have to wait 7 days. This made me very unhappy. I teach school as a second profession to elementary school children, and they miss nothing!!! I related to her my disappointment. Without any conversation Dr. Kane took it upon herself to create my 5- tooth bridge in her office, and she did it on that SUNDAY. This was truly remarkable.
Who in this world does this for a perfect stranger?
Dr. Kane texted me photos of the models of my teeth and jaw and the new temporary bridge she created in the office on Sunday. This wonderful
person made my 5-tooth bridge on a Sunday morning in April. By Monday afternoon, I had missed no work, and had a brand-new bridge in my mouth. This was the best dental experience I ever had.
There is much more I could write about, their front desk, their assistants, and their communication skills. The bottom line is how you felt when you left. Was the pricing fair, did you have a good experience with the doctors and staff, and would you recommend anyone? My answer is a resounding YES.
On my way out the door, I was greeted by Dr. Banda. I believe that he was the most senior dentist of the group. I asked him if we have ever met, and he asked me if I have ever played Augusta National (Masters golf course). I of course said no, but then realized this whole office was about two things: serious dentistry and humor (lol).
If you have experienced Cranbrook Dental, you know what I am speaking about: Professionalism with an Incredible Smile!
Most Sincerely,
Jim Kokas
