I had to switch dentists again last year, as the one I was seeing was to far away. I checked out who was in my network and found Forever Young to be a good match. My first visits were with Dr. Somona, who's currently back in school and only working Saturdays. He's deaf, and went to high school close to where I grew up. (I found this out after talking with him during my first appointment.) Dr. Young's currently my dentist, and he does a really good job. Appointments can be difficult to book sometimes as I guess they're super busy. Some of the hygienists work faster than others. I literally had to tell one to please hurry up because she was moving so slow. The desk staff is nice, but took a while to learn my name. They NEVER take you early, and usually run at least 5 minutes (I've sat there up to 15 at times) behind schedule. It's not a common occurrence, but it happens enough that I had to mention it. Office is clean and in good working order, overall a great experience. Typical dentist office hours, so plan to leave work a little early to make your appointment on time. Update: Dr. Hoy has since left the practice, and Dr. Young is my new dentist. Amazing experience! I've always struggled with severe anxiety at the dentist and have bounced from office to office in search of the 'unicorn' dentist -- and I finally found him: Dr. Young. There's something about his calm, reassuring presence that immediately puts you at ease. Even more impressive, the procedures are completely painless -- I didn't even feel the Novocaine injection. I recently had a root canal done, and it was genuinely pain-free. Dr. Young walks you through every step, takes the time to educate you, and whenever possible, offers multiple treatment options. I need to fill a missing tooth and always said I would never get an implant because the process seemed so painful and intense -- but now, I'm actually considering it, simply because I trust Dr. Young that much. I am extremely happy with my recent move to the Forever Young Dentistry practice. My children and I have received excellent care. The staff is excellent, even my 8 year old son is relaxed at his visits. Dr. Young is silly and playful with children, putting them at ease. Melissa is very sweet with my children, too. Robyn and Ashley are excellent hygienists, and extremely personable. Sue in the front office, and Cassondra at the front desk are both friendly and professional. I have an appointment in the next few weeks for a crown. I am excited Dr. Young is able to do a beautiful crown in one visit, not two. I cannot say enough good things about the office. I was looking to switch from a dentist who overcharged me for work. I hated the dentist at this point. Made an appointment over the phone. Staff is very professional and friendly with everyone. Office and waiting room is very clean and up to date. Rooms are comfortable, and offers you the choice or watching television or listening to the radio during your visit. Dr. Young is fantastic, very straightforward, gentle and friendly. His staff will go over expenses prior to making an appointment for future services which is something that is very important to me. I can say I do not hate the dentist anymore. I recommend to all. I live 50 minutes away, and will drive to see him. read more

The staff is always pleasant, but I cannot believe how expensive their services are. I was a patient for over ten years but have had several bad experiences. I have had to have bonding done over and over...and over. Have been charged for exams when I didn't receive an exam. I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm so tired of wasting my time and money with Dr. Young. He is condescending, treats his staff like dirt and charges way over the average and norm. read more

Please have this review serve to warn others before they allow Dr Young to apply a cerac crown or overlay to their tooth. I was impressed with all his technology, thought he was great and let him do 3 of my teeth over time. The first was so ill-fitting that he did a re-do...which later had to be re-done by my current dentist! Another one cracked and broke...which had to be re-crowned. Now the third, which was done only 3 years ago is an ill-fitting food-catcher that got decayed under the crown and now has to be pulled!! Worst Dentist ever! They tell you what you want to hear and their job is absolutely horrible. They are very over priced and make you think your portion out of pocket is small when you end up paying thousands of dollars in ADDITION to what they bill the insurance. Had a root canal/crown done 1 year ago, I had pain again recently - he said "we must have not got the nerve last time" so its going to cost me more money to fix the mistake he made. I went to this dentist w my daughter being the patient needing some heavy dental work. I have been a dental asst for almost 8 years but I did not tell this place (forever young dental) that I was an assistant because I wanted to get a feel for their work. Most people do not have the dental knowledge that I have and that includes reading X-rays which tells you the problem. ( not everyone is a dental assistant) therefore a dentist can give u any info he wants bc as a patient you cannot read X-rays. Long story short the previous dentist told me my daughter needed a root canal, $1200 dollars, and bc I was able to read X-rays i went w another dentist, dr young! He showed me the X-rays and sure enough my daughter needed a filling not a root canal!! He is so honest and he saved me so much money. He has kids himself and is so understanding! August 15th 2017 I had Dr. Young fill in a small gap i have between my 2 front teeth. He advised me to get braces for them but said if he did some kind of veneer like fillings it would last atleast 8 months to a year but I can't chew on them! So I paid $600 out of my insurance and $70 out of pocket for the work. 1 week later I start to see a clear line forming where he worked and as I would lick the area I would feel it getting more and more thin. Eating eggs in the morning the 2nd week it just chipped on its own without biting into it OR CHEWING ON IT. I went back and he denied seeing the lines of his work which were clear to the eye up close yet he bonded more of his fillings right over it after denying there was anything there. Didn't charge me for the appointment! Than 1 week later I'm eating string cheese biting freely since it's freaking cheese and the entire thing just fell apart in my mouth and I ended up chewing and swallowing it. Dr. Young is a smooth guy to conversation with. You get a printed invoice of his estimate. His workers are all really sweet. You don't even have to wait in the waiting room. Free k cup coffee and water. But he screwed me over. What he did only involved sanding down surface on teeth to bond fillings and his work was weak and ineffective and he played me for no reason. What sucks is I work on people's cars all day in autobody and if anything I short myself to make others happy and easy on ther pockets. And this shit happens to me well whatever here's my experience everyone and my yelp to young I wish you were legit on your word and work you could have stole me as a patient from the dentist I've been going to since I was 7 years old but you failed and hurt my insurance money for no reason and left me with cracked teeth worse than they were to star before I stepped into your office cause you sanded over my last dentists work which by the way lasted over a year.
