Staff are amazing and the course is near perfect. We got to use our Pass360 which gave us a nice discount. Pretty great experience overall.

Pros: Pretty nice and an unheard of golf course that doesn't generate a lot of buzz. Lucky for the people that like to go here for practice. Cons: The never ending amount of bird poop from the cranes in the local area. The Basics: I went here with my dad on a Friday around the Thanksgiving holiday. It was really nice, and not crowded. The guy in working in the clubhouse was very nice and even gave me and my dad a free bucket of balls to hit before our round of 18. All and all I think this is a diamond in the rough. Aside of Schneiters Bluff, Riverside, and the other golf courses nearby this one is a great one! Bottom line!.... Its a great course. read more

I played cranefield today. It is getting better. They are always trying too improve it. I suck as a golfer but they always make me feel welcomed . Other golf courses don't care. I will always play cranefield. read more

The people at this course and genuinely nice and couple that with a course and Driving range that are in decent condition make for a good day of golf. However: Hitting the range balls are like hitting rocks, they're faded, feel waterlogged and a lot of them have mower marks on the balls. My only complaint would be to replace those balls. Other than that. Thanks for the experience. read more

Truly the worst golf course I've ever played. It's a good thing we only paid $10 thanks to the GN APP. There is literally fairway, and rough, and not much more. If you find 1 of the 10 bunkers on the entire course, they are flat and your'e hitting out of kitty litter. Being that the course is so new, it is expected that they don't have any trees, but this course was in the worse shape I've ever seen. There were weeds growing on the greens, fringe, and some of the bunkers. There was GUR all over the course. I definitely would not pay more than $15 or $20 to play 18 with a cart. read more

This course has come a very long way since it first opened. As other reviews suggest, there are weeds, dead spots, and other imperfections but they are generally out of play. They keep it mowed well and it's fun to play. It's definitely on the easier end of golf courses as a lot of the holes are really short. If you're on the Wasatch Front, it's a great beginner place. No trees = No shade. Wear sunscreen, I learned this lesson the hard way. They have a great driving range with a large target to hit at plus it's covered/shaded. They also offer a lot of different lessons. The course had porta-potty's on the course, but no other facilities. They had plenty of water tanks and it was always cold and fresh. read more

Come a long way over past couple years. Plenty of space for long drives or your best attempt. Golf carts are in good working order although I would love to see the addition of ball & club washer boxes added. By the end of 9 holes, I desperately need to clean clubs and having that on my cart would be huge. Love playing front nine for the scenic views, but the back nine offers long drives at nearly every tee. Or just play all 18 and make a day of it. Clubhouse is fantastic and the staff couldn't be much friendlier. Just wish I had the money and time to play here every day. read more

I have been playing this course for the past 4 years since it opened. The course has come a long way and is improving each year. It is on the right track to be a great course. Fairways still need some work, but the greens are good. I play this course once a week and look forward to playing it for years to come. read more

It is a great beginner course that is maturing into a very nice course in the future.

Great course away from the city, but still has a few spots that need to grow in. They have a full size driving range and offer military and senior discounts. The course offers a very native take on golf, as you are surrounded by cat tails. All in all, Crane Field is a place to go visit if you have some spare time. read more

The Crane Field is a fairly new golf course. My wife and I have played the course since it's completion. Every year the fairways and greens keep getting better! Yes there are some grassless spots in a few places but considering the price and availability; and being able to set up a teatime on short notice, it's a fantastic course! read more

OK, the course is still relatively new, I'll give you that, but I have been golfing there for three years, and I'd give it a 5 stars if I could because of the customer service! They treat you awesome "Except Lacey, She's not very friendly", The grass has grown in a ton, yes there are a few patches here and there but James the Superintendent has done miracles. He is repairing the greens and they are getting back in shape, the Fairways are nice now and always improving, and the rough is nice too. Only 4 par 3's and 1 could easily be a short par 4! There are 4 par 5's and the rest are par 4's and I love the lay out. Wet sand is heavy sand, and it all depends on where you are as to the fineness or roughness of the sand. If you are not happy with the course, I guess you play pebble beach all the time, because it's not perfect, but it's very playable and a good course always improving!
