Glen Eagle is an awesome spot for a quick round. It's a short, 9-hole course that is incredibly flat and easy to walk. The water hazards add the perfect amount of challenge to keep you on your toes. Love the location right next to the Aquatic Center, too. Friendly staff and a great pace of play--highly recommend checking it out! read more

The course is currently in below average condition for May. A lot of weeds and every green, including their putting green, has significant water rot/ root rot. With so many other courses within 15-20 minutes, save your money and spend it at a course that is in better condition. Pretty disappointing to see this course decline the way it has. Be very careful about booking online, they will charge you whether or not you show up, regardless whether you cancel beforehand. I literally got Covid, tested positive that day, called to cancel booking and was made aware they were charging in full anyways and for everyone on the booking. 4 players in total (2 juniors, 1 adult and 1 senior) all charged same adult green fees despite the juniors being Youth on Course members ($5/rd). This has been my home course for the last 3 years. I'm definitely going to miss all the staff here as well as all of the great members that I have gotten to know over the last few years. If you haven't ever tried this course, give it a go. It's a challenging one with all the hills and water (10 and 18 for sure) but fun! I used to play junior golf tournaments up her, so playing at Glen Eagle brings back some fun memories for me. The course itself isn't anything special--there aren't any "wow" holes that will blow you away. But the grounds crew keeps it in pretty good shape, and it wasn't too busy when we played in the afternoon. If you're a better than average golfer, you have the chance to score well here--the holes are pretty short, and the greens aren't too tricky. If you're a beginner, this course can be tough--there is a lot of fescue, a couple of ponds and streams, and some homes along the course that are out of bounds. Definitely a fun course to play every once in a while; it's about average compared to other courses in the area. read more

This is a great link's course. The design is terrific. Too many courses give you the same look from one hole to another. Not this course. A nice mix of different looks. The greens are good. They are very consistent. Another thing our group likes: great staff. Friendly people who make you feel welcome. That goes from the front desk to the good folks in the restaurant. The food is delicious. Great hamburger's and sandwiches. Wonderful cookies and cinnamon rolls. I love playing here. read more

Mike Garrison the PGA pro that manages this course does a great job, and his office is always open to anyone that has any questions or any concerns of operations related to the course. The course is always in great shape, and this course has some of the best greens in the state. I have a home in Mesquite Nevada which has many great golf tracks but none of the greens in Mesquite compare to the greens at Glen Eagle. Mike also has a great staff that supports all golfers that want a good golf experience not to mention the ladies in the restaurant that give good service, and great food. Nothing about this golf course is memorable. What you see is what you get, a course in the middle of lots of commercial housing. Everything about the area is bland. Hats off to the staff that maintain the course and work behind the scenes, I know it's a thankless job. It was the area and vibe that turned me off. I love Glen Eagle! This links style course is challenging, but fair and it's like no other course in Northern Utah. The greens are always in great condition as is the entire course. Driving range and practice area is great. There's even an area where you can hit short pitch shots onto a green without disturbing those trying to putt. I have golfed at Glen Eagle G.C. for about 3 years. The course is challenging but fun (20 handicap). The maintenance folks do a great job! You can pay more for golf someplace else and not have as well kept greens and fairways. I moved our men's golf group here because of the great conditions and service the staff provides to everyone. I golf this course every week. The thing I like the most is it is not a public course and the pro shop personnel along with the Pro are very accommodating. It's a tough course with water on many of the holes. But if you keep it out of the rough and the water you can shoot a good game. I booked a tee time from a website called Teeoff.com, they had a great price and since I wanted to walk I figured I would play a new course. Too my surprise the Golf a Shop attendant tried to pull a scam on me and said I had to pay for a cart even if I didn't use one. I told him, I was walking he said you still have to pay for a cart. Then he claimed that cart prices were not included in the online price and that it was stated online that I still had to rent a cart. I said No, there is nowhere on the agreement that says that. And I told him I would not play at this golf course and this was atrocious behavior for a golf club. I immediately called Teeoff.com and complained to them. This might be a nice course but I would highly warn you against going there! It is a SCAM!! No honest business would conduct themselves in this manor! If I could give zero stars I would! You should be ashamed!! Scam, Scam, Scam!!! read more

Course is alright not many memorable holes and its in decent shape but the kids they have working behind the desk have the absolute worst customer service skills I have ever witnessed don't bother booking a teetime online the workers will say it is void because they do not let golfers on that late when you can book it online all the workers care about is going home early they routinely close hours before sundown read more

Had a tee time at 6:28am, so I had extra time to putt and chipped around. the putting/chipping area above average, driving range is all grass and staff friendly. The tee box needs work, cleaning all the old tee stuck in the ground and fill in all the divots. Fairways above average and green not bad but one hole I think its 14th a lawn mower mowed to close to the ground causing the soil to expose. My round took 3.5 hour, cost $45 with cart, not bad and I will return soon to play this Links course again. read more

I called 2 days ago before I pre-paid for a golf special on-line. I was told over the phone I would only be charged $16.00 for a cart fee for both people riding the cart. Well, when I got there today, I was told I would be charged $16.00 for each person riding in the cart so in other words I was charged $32.00 for the cart. The only reason I booked the green fees is because of being told I was going to be charged $16.00 in total for a cart not $32.00. Unbelievable how rotten I was treated and misled. What a joke your pro shop staff is and the lies they told me. $42.00 for green fees an $32.00 for one electric cart fee. What a sneaky under handed thing to do. Great job misleading your customers and change the pricing for a cart when you show up! Highway Robbery! read more

I've been golfing at Glen Eagle for several years and have always found it to be a great golf course. The fairways and greens are always in great conditions (and sometimes the fairways are cut crosswise (?) and I feel like I'm at a country club) There are some tricky holes and, although many fairways look easy enough, they prove to be more challenging than you would think. The cafe has good food and the staff are very friendly. In fact, the staff at the whole golf course are friendly and professional. I finally took a lesson from Mike, G.E.'s pro, and finally learned what my husband and numerous books and magazines have been trying to tell me. Mike explained and showed me in a simple way that I could understand and I'm hitting straighter and farther than ever before (most of the time :-) read more

Wonderful golf course. Laid out to create a lot of risk and reword shots. Links style. Best to stay on the fairways, easy to get in trouble if your wild off the tees. Great greens and several different Tees to choose from this course is as hard or simple as the tee you play . you definitely want to keep it straight off the tee and the wind plays a role like a good links course should. Used to be one of our favorite local gold courses until they turned it into a soccer practice course. Don't get me wrong, I like soccer, on a soccer field! While we were trying to play just recently, we let a group of soccer players play thru and as we were ready to tee-up, another group just decided to play thru after we told them to wait.. As we were chipping onto the green, they came running onto the green, thru the sand trap yelling and screaming to each other. This went on for the last three holes. Please be aware of this situation before you play. It's very annoying. We usually play this course a couple of times per week. We won't be going back. read more

I arrived at the course today with high hopes for this golf course which was quickly dashed by the rudeness of the front desk staff, they proceeded to tell me that they typically do not allow golfers to play 18 this late but allowed me because I prepaid for my round. They proceed to start me off of 10 tee which was odd to me because the front 9 had nobody playing while the back 9 had 2 groups on number 10 the back nine played slow and as we are rerounding we run into a fivesome of walkers who refuse to let us play through, we call the proshop to see if they can send someone out to let us pass this fivesome and no one answers we proceed to skip a hole to get past this group as it we were now in doubt to finish before dark we play one more hole and then run into a sixsome with 3 carts playing together. Fed up we went to the back 9 yet again and see the workers from the front desk out playing 9 holes they had closed the shop early and had gone to play while our calls about slow play were getting ignored I have never seen such careless behavior from staff before and I will not be returning. The course itself is alright no memorable holes and is in decent shape but it is not worth dealing with the absolute incompetence behind the front desk. read more

The worst tournament ever on Friday, September 7. The pro put a two some out in the middle of tournament teams. It took 6.5 hours to play. Crazy, this was mentioned to the pro and he did not care. Watch out if you choose to play a scramble tourney here!!!!! read more

My wife and I had a great round of golf here at the end of February. She is still learning so needed a wide open place to play and I am a 8 handy and it was great for me too. Just challenging enough from the white tees. They have black and blue also for the long hitters. But play from the whites and you will be less frustrated. The red tees were perfect for her. I have played this golf course over the past 8 years as well as most of the courses in northern Utah. It is definitely different than the usual course you see in Utah. They have a big practice facility, great and friendly staff, and a really good snack bar. The course itself can be either player friendly or very challenging depending on what tees you would like to play from. Over the years, the course has always stayed in great shape. The greens are always cut which gives the ball a more true roll than most courses in the area. The are becoming better with time as well as the ball marks are getting repaired. It's also an easily accessed facility being only 10 minutes off of I-15. I have noticed the soccer "golf" course set up, but have never ran into anyone playing it. It is not heavily trafficked course, so if you need to catch a quick round, give them a try. read more
