I cannot write about building one, other than that's where they take most of their website pictures and where you start your tour. First, one of the leasing consultants told me and my family that there was "temporary" construction occurring in building two and that it should not be a problem. This was over a year ago, active construction is ongoing in building two with workers constantly drilling and working the hallways starting usually around 8:30 am until 5pm. Working from home is not possible as you hear the construction through your walls. They block off entrances into the building without warning. The halls smelled of chemicals and paint for weeks. I cannot express the frustration about this construction enough, it is truly unbearable and continuous. Attempts to clarify the construction deadline is fruitless. They give you blanket statements and fail to make any accommodations as a result of their construction. Instead, they say oh well and good luck. You really don't know construction is going on until 8:30am when you hear a drill or yelling down the hallway about something they are fixing. Second, good luck getting any peace and quiet here. You can hear everything, and I mean everything, through the paper thin walls. You can hear when your upstairs neighbor comes home and all their movement. Same goes for your next door neighbor. If there is a noise complaint -- such as parties blasting throughout your hallways-- you are directed to call a courtesy officer who never responds. Instead, you are left to deal with the issue or attempt to sleep through it. When you call the leasing office to let them know about the problem, they tell you to call the courtesy officer. They constantly change the extension number for that officer as well. Third, the general upkeep of the building is disappointing. Doors with key fobs don't work. They have been aware of the issue for months and have done nothing to get it fixed. Your door, even if you don't lock it, will lock you out and you will have to pay a fee to get into your apartment. The trash areas are a disaster and stink up the hallway. They had fire alarms go off at random times; not because there was a true fire, but because the system itself was malfunctioning. They were aware of the problem. The biggest and most worrisome event occurred this past May where the fire alarms went off from approximately 8pm to 3 am. Each time fire rescue showed up, saying this was "a building problem" and that they would be delaying their arrivals throughout the night because they know there is no fire. The office said that maintenance came to the complex to help with the situation. Maintenance arrived, then left 10 minutes after the fire department left, and then the fire alarms would go off again. Myself, along with other residents, voiced our concern. After informing leasing that I wish to be communicated to about this issue via email, they called me and spoke rather harshly to me about my concerns. I told them that I would not feel safe for myself or my family to stay until the system was resolved, the assistant manager said something along the lines of "well it's head of maintenances job to determine that".... Lastly, the apartment requires frequent maintenance requests. The washing machines consistently clog or won't work. The fridge will continue to leak, they delegate tasks that are not designated in the lease agreement to tenants. All and all, the only good thing about this complex is location. But I recommend looking elsewhere. Many tenants are looking for other options and voicing the same frustrations in building two. It may look like a beautiful location online and when you get the tour, but once you move in it's miserable. I wish I could say I enjoyed this place, but honestly myself and my family are excited to move and get a goodnight's rest without worry of fire alarms, construction, stomping, and can get into our new place without issues.

This does not make me feel safe about the security of my apartment and my belongings. Fire alarms constantly go off, whether for testing or when they malfunction in the middle of the night, and an entire walkway on my floor has been blocked for well over a month which raises concerns of fire safety. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to give this apartment complex a negative review. I've tried contacting the office multiple times for multiple issues-- I've even visited the office, and still my issues have not been resolved. I'll consider changing this review if I can finally get some clarification or resolution of these issues.

It seems like a lot of thought was put into every detail at the Vue and it shows. The shared areas feel clean and seem meticulously maintained: for example the exterior is being pressure cleaned for several months now so they seem to take their time to do things the right way. Although, I don't live here I get the impression that this place is a well oiled machine. The units are all new so understandably everything is updated. Floor to ceiling windows offer a picturesque view of the city and beyond. The Vue is on the outer border of the Central Business District, giving you the best of both worlds. You can walk home after a night on the town, followed by a scenic walk around Lake Eola in the morning for brunch in Thornton Park. Cons: The higher rents are to be expected at this level of quality, however, if you want to purchase a unit the prices are through the roof (surprisingly the HOA fees aren't bad compared to similar condos in the area). It's location can also be considered a con because the intersection needs a more pedestrian feel. For example, the Waverly & Paramount are ideal in terms of pedestrian friendliness at street level. However, as downtown Orlando continues to grow, I'm sure this will be improved over time.

Most negative reviews seem to come from renters who might be looking for a party atmosphere. If that's what you're after, The VUE is not the right place. The biggest downside for me has been the HOA fees. Since I purchased my unit in 2018, the HOA fees have nearly doubled, and I've faced 3-4 special assessments, which were quite an unpleasant surprise. However, I understand that the building was mismanaged for a few years in the past. If these increases are necessary to maintain the quality of the facility, I'm willing to accept them, as long as it is well-managed moving forward.

I'm not trying to make a sales pitch or anything, but I love this community & apartment complex as well as the location, management, and the actual apartments themselves. I moved here with my wife & 4 year old daughter and the pool area is amazing, it's right next to 417 so you can get anywhere in like 2 seconds, the gym is top notch (better than most actual gyms), the people/community is legitimately so much friendlier and warm than any other apartment complex I've been at - and to top it all off, the three ladies Alonna, Luci, and Brenda who run the office are AMAZING. They are like a power crew and they really listen to the residents and they don't just say something they get things DONE. Anyways just wanted to share my amazing experience with Legends Apartments because I know it's hard to find a place like this, I plan on living here for years until I can afford to buy a house .

I was able to get to know the office, maintenance and security staff. I have nothing but good things to say about them all. Any time I had a question I was able to get a quick response. If I needed security (like if someone parked in my assigned spot) security would be available immediately. (they always tried to find the owner of the car in order to avoid towing it which I appreciated). Anyway, in 2021 are son moved back home (thanks covid) so we ended up buying a house and renting our unit out again. We have never had difficulty finding renters and keeping it occupied.

I've lived at Elon for almost two years, and I regret renewing my lease every single day. The only good thing is that some neighbors are friendly and there's a small sense of community. Outside of that, these apartments are falling apart. The buildings are clearly old, and whatever "renovations" they did were cheap, rushed, half-effort attempts to make the place look decent. Nothing about the work is safe or properly done. For example: my living room ceiling fan flew off the ceiling. It came off with force, slammed into the wall, and one of the blades flew across the room into the kitchen. If I had been napping on my couch like I normally do, I could've been seriously hurt or worse. And what was Elon's response? "We're very sorry, I'm not sure why this is happening." They accidentally admitted this has happened in multiple apartments, meaning whoever replaced the fixtures did a terrible job and now the community is just waiting for fans to fly off in individual units before taking action. Completely unacceptable. I've also come home to threatening letters taped to my door saying that if I didn't remove any "dying" plants from my porch by a certain date, maintenance would throw them all away. This would make sense if I had dying plants. I didn't. Every plant was healthy. When I went to the office to ask what they were talking about so I could address it, I was told: "Upper management is who said something. I can't tell you which plant. It was a general note left on multiple doors. We saw something dead but I'm not going to go over there and show you what we're talking about." So basically--no clarity, no help, just vague threats and zero accountability. And then last night, I had a ceiling leak from the apartment above me. This community advertises 24/7 emergency maintenance. I called their emergency line over ten times starting at 8 PM. No answer. No call back. Nothing until staff came in at 8 AM the next morning. I ended up having to track down my upstairs neighbor myself and turn off their water valve at 7 AM--after 11 hours of constant leaking--because no one from this community bothered to do their actual job. And when I finally spoke with the property manager? Her priority wasn't the leak, the damage, or the fact that I was left to deal with an emergency alone. Her priority was telling me to "refrain from cursing" in the voicemails that no one bothered to listen to for 12 hours while my apartment flooded. That perfectly sums up this janky community: ignore the actual problem, ignore the safety issues, ignore the emergencies--but make sure to comment on my "tone." Save yourself the stress. Do not move here.

Apartment Building Condition Without even checking the public records, you can tell the building's age by the cable TV and internet speeds. Internet option: $80 (1 Gig) from Spectrum or Verizon WiFi - Not FIOS (bundle deal $50). The building is so old that the COAX cable barely supports 300 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. This isn't just about internet speed - it's about the building's age. Frequent management change Management has changed three times - including one maintenance guy. Since moving in, I've repeatedly complained about pests (from baby cockroaches to No-See-Ums). No-See-Ums bite, making it extremely difficult to sleep. This company, ASPEN SQUARE, has the worst business model ever! Forget branding - it's all about ROI. Ongoing Pest Problems (Images attached.) For the past eight weeks, pest control has visited every single week (exept one week due to the rain and pest control tried to enter with their dirty a*s boots) because of the bugs (see attached images). I requested a new fridge because bugs were getting into my food. Management's response? "Let's monitor the situation first." After filling the vase with water, it leaks everywhere, and the office staff scrambles to patch the leaks -- but the leaks are never-ending. Aspensquare's foundation is straight out of a YouTube real estate investment tutorial... FYI, I have received my full deposit from my last three apartments, so the cleanliness of my apartment unit is not the issue.

He, along with the entire team at the leasing office, are amazing! I had a lot of random questions since I was moving without seeing the unit first and everything was just as described. The maintenance crew is also friendly and amazing! I worked with Angel and Freddy so far and they are great! I know that one thing I was worried about was noise (really loud neighbors in previous rentals), but I haven't had any issues. I am so glad I made the decision to move to Village at Baldwin Park. The staff is friendly, the unit is great, excellent amenities, nice walkable area, etc.

No one should have to pay $3100 a month (my friends pay $3600!) and deal with ahole neighbors cutting through your tiny little area, ruining the furniture that you purchased to make the area look nice (and protect my kids), POS residents sneaking up behind my children while they're playing IN OUR LITTLE TINY SECTION THAT WE PAY FOR and scaring them, being creepy scary pedos all bc they're too lazy to walk 500 extra feet to the pool. Trust that they can definitely use that exercise. Not to mention how obscenely *dirty* these residents are. Beer cans and garbage all over the pool, garbage all over the grounds, inability to throw garbage away at the dumpster bc it's full so often and the fact that the a/c units cannot handle Florida summers (in our townhouse, there should be 2 ac units but that's not happening) and my unit rarely is under 79° during the day. This place is not worth the money they're currently charging bc I am not getting my money's worth. I was WAY more chill when I paid $1,000 less every month.
