I am going to do something I don't normally do: review a company I haven't actually used (and may never use). But don't get me wrong; it's not why you might think. Instead, I have to tell you about just how kind Dean the owner was when I spoke to him. Turns out the project I intend to do is outside his parameters. But that part of the conversation was small. What he instead did was try to understand my project, and help me (because I have no idea what I'm doing and just wanted to better understand.) With no reason apart from being a decent human, he went on to explain his industry, and even offered his guidance on what might help me (a forklift company for example, instead of a crane company). He asked me for my name at the beginning of the conversation. He used it when he said goodbye. He suggested why pricing is at is, and helped me better understand how I needed to budget for my little project. You could tell he cared. If this evidence of Dean's character and quality...of just helping some dude who called his company the phone and asked for help... can you just imagine the standard he probably holds himself to when actually doing and completing a project? As such, the stellar reviews I see here are completely unsurprising to me. I hope you choose him after reading them, and after knowing how he treated me. I only wish I could have used him. I contacted Dean @ Craniacs with what I thought would be a difficult job to remove a jacuzzi from our backyard. He put me in touch with someone who could help haul it away once removed and within a week, we had all communicated. They both came over and in a little more than an hour, had the jacuzzi removed by crane, loaded up and were ready to haul it away. This was much less complicated than I thought it would be and I would definitely recommend Dean and Craniacs if you ever find yourself in need of a crane. They are fantastic to work with! read more

Dean was very friendly, punctual and professional. It took him about 20 minutes (with setup) to help me remove the old A/C unit off my customer's roof and crane up the new one. There wasn't much space in the parking lot for him to park his crane truck, but he was able to find an open area and work fast.
