First, he asked me to make sure I have cash or check with me because they were supposed to tel me over the phone (which they didn't) I said do you accept card? He said No! I said okay I'll have to go get you some after the delivery. He then freaked out and started packing stating that he was leaving! I was in complete shock!! Couldn't believe what was happening. I turned around and ran after him to stop him, since this crane service is extremely sensitive on time. I realized I had checks in the house and I managed to make sense to him to continue. Then he delivered and really did the minimum he could arguing while he's craning the hot tub not wanting to go another 20 inches to avoid some trees. I was initially quoted $1,000, but when we arrived at the job site, the price suddenly became $1,350. What was even more concerning was the lack of technical coordination. Nobody in the office could clearly confirm whether a spreader bar was required to properly distribute the load. The driver also seemed unsure. For a crane company handling heavy HVAC equipment, these are basic details that should be confirmed before arriving at the job site--not figured out in front of the customer. The driver's attitude made the situation even worse. Instead of professionally addressing the issue, he was rude, confrontational, and seemed more interested in arguing with the customer than completing the job. It appears that the company has grown quickly, but its communication, technical knowledge, and field operations have not kept up with that growth. For a crane company, reliable communication, accurate pricing, proper rigging knowledge, and professional behavior are not optional--they are the foundation of the service. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. Honestly, even one star feels generous.
