This was my first time coming to this cookie shop and I was thoroughly pleased with the overall experience. The Bakehouse Harvest line-up kept popping up on my feed, and I couldn't resist trying there newly limited fall-flavored desserts. The cashier who greeted us upon arrival, was very friendly and helpful when recommending the most popular cookies to try-out. We decided to try all of the weekly flavors, except for the caramel apple pie and opted for the local favorite, which was the salted caramel brownie. All of the cookies were presented so beautifully, and the re-heat directions were located on the box, which I thought was very impressive because who can honestly eat all of these in one sitting. One bite and I was officially hooked! They were freshly baked (except the french silk pie/chilled cookie), very flavorful, and had a soft and chewy texture. For the price, the cookies were a lot bigger and thicker than what I had expected. Our favorites were the french silk pie, chocolate chip, and golden churro. We devoured this box within 3 days and have no regrets!

My first time trying these cookies and they were pretty good. They are on the sweeter side for those that like that. They are fuller and bigger than crumbl cookies and a much nicer box. I tried the dubai chocolate, smores, firework, birthday, and cheesecake varieties. I liked the cheesecake one the most. These are chewy and gooey kind of cookies. They also offer a variety of fun soda drinks similar to Fizz Drinks and Swig. I had a great deal as they were buy 4 get 2 free. If you like sweets...this is a great place.

We've been to the Rainbow location a couple weeks after they opened and we were not impressed, so we never came back or gave it a second thought. We decided to give it another chance, but at the Fort Apache location. They had a buy 4, get 2 free promo going on that I saw on IG and we were somewhat in the area so we dropped by. It was a rare day when it was raining and the store was empty. The young man working was polite and took my order, warmed them up and we were on our way. We got one of each cookie. Our least favorite was the Biscoff one, and second least fave was the dubai cookie. Absolute favorite was the banana cream pie cookie. The store looked just like the Rainbow one, I guess they all follow the same layout. I'd rather come here than crumbl, but there are no locations close to me.

Similar to crumbl but served warm (so they seem fresh from the oven). They also have the viral dubai chocolate strawberries which is worth a try

DO NOT GET THE DUBAI CUP FROM HERE. The katafi is soggy not crunchy at all and barely any chocolate. definitely not worth the money.

Was looking forward to it, but it was just OK. Crumbl cookies are way better. It was just too doughy.

Some other spots in town have similar offerings and may be doing a better job at it. I ordered the J2. Jumbo Pomelo & Mango with Sago ($13.95) to share in our group. There was a wide variety of ingredients, generally tasting quite good. The actual mango fruit was soft and super sweet, there was perhaps a coconut jelly topping that was also nice, as well as a coconut ice that felt snowy in texture, a mango custard, and a decent helping of sago near the bottom. However, I wish that the mango ice cream wasn't so hard and icy, and I was disappointed later to realize that we didn't get any pomelo at all. I really enjoyed the pomelo the last time I had a similar dessert. The dining area did seem pretty clean at least, and they offered complimentary cups of water for each of us after I requested it. Napkins are cheap but freely available, and spoons are pretty sturdy despite being disposable plastic. Maybe I'll come back to this Hui Lau Shan location if I'm around Spring Mountain and find myself really craving their brand of desserts. But I'd prioritize different businesses if I were planning a trip.

After so many years of coming to Suzuya. I must say, they are very consistent and by now I think I've tried every regular item and plenty of yummy seasonal items. We love the salads when we're avoiding sugary stuff & pair it with a straight forward Matcha. For the desserts/pastries, my family loves the strawberry cake for birthdays. Me, I don't like cake unless it's cheesecake & they have a variety. Personally I do love the Yuzu Panna Cotta (ya I prolly spelt that wrong). && the macaroons are super great, ima MAC kinda guy, so a variety of flavors is a W! For the vibe inside! I love the music not having lyrics, super chill jazzy upbeat. So it's easy to concentrate for conversations, reading and online work. It's always very clean, constant flow of customers, some apparel & grab n go items. The colors are a soft wood, white and green plants all around with some gold accents and a clean appearance of staff, with positive attitudes. If I wanting anything more from the biz, it would be a reward system & larger sized drinks. I know bigger drinks aren't necessarily good for us, so I get it :-/ haha. Either way, 10 out of 10 biz!

Thank you, Mike, for taking the time to respond. I appreciate your acknowledgment of the other…read moreservice issues I experienced. However, I do want to clarify one very important point regarding my service dog. He was calm, quiet, and completely under control throughout the entire visit. He was not active, disruptive, or vocal at any time. He is a trained service dog, not a pet. I also want to clarify that under the ADA, a person with a service dog cannot be required to sit outside simply because they are accompanied by a service animal. Service dogs are generally permitted to accompany their handlers in areas where customers are normally allowed. A service animal may only be excluded in limited circumstances, such as when the animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action, or when the animal is not housebroken. Neither of those circumstances applied here. So while I understand your policy regarding active or vocal dogs, that does not describe my dog or what happened during my visit. He was calm and caused no disturbance whatsoever. I sincerely hope your staff can be better informed about the distinction between pets and service animals so that another customer with a legitimate service dog is not made to feel unwelcome or told they MUST sit outside.
