Really good matcha! It was just enough to get me through the day. Their coconut water matcha was good, not too sweet, and the matcha foam on top was tasty. The shop is really cute inside, and super modern/clean. The worker was very sweet too! Also got our drinks out quick.
It's always a pleasure to get a treat from Urban Matcha. Their soft serve is truly one of the best in town and never seems to disappoint. Service is always quick and courteous. This location is in the perfect strip mall next to really good restaurants. Dining is accommodating, always seems clean. Thanks for the best desserts Urban Matcha!
This place was crowded! Apparently BTS had stopped by here. The line went at an okay pace and we were lucky to grab seating. We luckily got a spot at the long bar table but with the large windows it does get warm. I got the matcha strawberry soft serve and egg sando. My friend got a drink but they waited until the queue was through to serve everything at the same time. You pick up at the front which was hard to hear. Egg sando honestly tasted kinda old. Bread was dry and not much inside. The ice cream was good though. I had a sip of the yuzu matcha our friend ordered and it was refreshing.
This is a cute cafe with a couple of chairs inside which is perfect for grabbing drinks or desserts with friends. The drinks were made pretty quickly. I like how there are coconut bits in the coconut matcha but there isn't enough matcha cream with the coconut water so there was no matcha flavor at all. The double matcha was also good but was very sweet. Their matcha and cream are pre-batched so that is something to note if you are looking for fresh matcha.
Stopped by Urban Matcha while visiting Las Vegas and was pleasantly surprised. The line was a bit long, but it moved steadily and was worth the wait. The matcha had a rich, earthy flavor without being overly bitter, and you could tell it was made with quality ingredients. I ordered a float and loved that they let you choose the ice cream flavor. The ube ice cream was a standout--it wasn't overly sweet and had a nice starchy, creamy texture that paired well with the matcha. Another plus was the pricing. Compared to many specialty matcha shops, the drinks felt reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. Overall, a great spot for matcha lovers and anyone looking for a refreshing treat while in Vegas. I'd definitely come back and try more of the menu.
I was surprised to see a matcha place in Vegas so close to the strip. For those from the Bay Area and California, their menu and drink quality here is quite comparable to Matcha Maiko. This plaza was very crowded and tough to find parking in given there is a Molly Tea a few stores down when we went on the day after EDC. We waited about 25 minutes in line to order and 10 minutes for our drinks during the afternoon and killed time by walking down to Molly Tea which had a similar line. We ordered the Matcha Yuzu Sparkler and Matcha Kuromitsu Kinako Cream. The cream is whipped and along with the brown sugar jelly makes it a much heavier and decadent drink than I was expecting, but was still good. The matcha here is safe for those new or unfamiliar with matcha, with a smooth grassy and lightly floral profile.
I don't know if this a chain Matcha Place but it had good reviews here in Vegas so we decided to try it out. This place is a Matcha Paradise for Matcha Lovers. Service is super fast even though it was a Saturday afternoon and packed. They do offer some desserts like Crepe Cakes, Pannacota, etc, all with Matcha. Drinks are a whole variety from floats, lattes, frappes, shaved ice even Matcha refreshers and more! Ambiance is simple, nicely decorated , music background. There are tables and a bar with bar stools to hang out. The only downfall for me is that they do not offer anything with a dairy substitute option. Nowadays with all the options that can be used for non dairy foams, creams, etc this place does not offer that for people that cannot have dairy. I am a lactose intolerant person so I basically had only two options for me. That is why I gave it a 4 star review.
My group of 5 were the first to start the morning line here around 11:30am on a Wednesday before their opening time of 12pm. Before that time and throughout our visit here, the line got longer and longer, and eventually all the seating inside was filled up. It was already a bright day yet the inside is lit about as bright to match the daylight hues. That and also the heat outside made me and my friends come here to grab another matcha as we already had a nearby place just 10 minutes ago! For this part of our matcha run, I got their large matcha latte float with a matcha and strawberry ice cream mix, while my foodie friend got the same float as well only with ube soft serve and a medium-size instead. Matcha is strong and ceremonial with grassy tones that were slightly dulled by the sweetness of the drink; the matcha ice cream had that same ceremonial hit as the latte but the strawberry ice cream didn't pair with those earthy tones very well since it was a different kind of sweet. I also found my friend's ube ice cream the better addition to the matcha latte than my matcha-strawberry mix. I still enjoyed what I had, and the float by itself still hit well. They have a ton of other drinks and even a banana matcha latte I would give a try in another visit to this location in the future!
Premium matcha, great service, and very flavorful products. I love matcha and as it gets warmer in Las Vegas I'm always looking for some delicious soft serve to get my hands on. Here they offer a lot of different drinks, soft serve, parfaits, shaved ice, and a few other treats and sandwiches. I haven't had their food yet but I'm going to try their egg salad very soon. The shop is small but I've never had a problem with finding a seat. Sometimes parking can be a hassle because it's in a very popular plaza with a lot of other great businesses. The matcha soft serve is outstanding.
3.5 stars; rounding up to 4 stars. What we tried: Banana Pudding Matcha Matcha Latte with Mango Cheese Cap It was good, I think I've just had better matcha lattes at this point. Both drinks we got were on the sweeter side, and were a lot creamier than we liked. I think I prefer my matcha lattes a bit more on the refreshing side--crisp and bolder in flavor and more well balanced, not just full on creamy and sweet. The ones we got here felt more like a dessert, which is perfectly fine if you prefer your matcha lattes that way. The place was clean and had some tables and chairs for you to chill at while drinking or eating your chosen matcha treat, and service was pretty quick. Overall, a good option for getting matcha, but I think I'll try a different place next time.

I was in town and had to stop at Urban Matcha. Right off the bat, I thought that the interior was lovely, there was plenty of seating and it was very spacious as well. There was a good selection for soft serve items and drinks. I decided to go with a matcha latte and the soft serve. I did ask for an adjustment for my latte which the staff was nice about. I wished that the matcha flavor was more present in my drink because it was on the more subtle end. For the soft serve, I do wish it was creamier because it had more of an icee or slushie-like texture. I still enjoyed the soft serve nonetheless. I can see myself grabbing a treat and studying here with the ample amount of seating. I would come back again and check out the other items on their menu.

2 matcha lattes will run you ~$15 (standard for the area). They were made very quickly/efficiently and had a beautiful color. The ice to milk ratio was also phenomenal. Stopped by here last week since it's about 15 minutes away from Vegas. They have huge parking with lots of restaurants nearby. Place is nice and easy to find. Fast service too, however I cannot justify their matcha quality, flavored with shaved ice or the soft serve itself. I've also tried their ube but barely taste the ube flavor. Also, they only have 2 sandwich options: eggs and tuna which is a no. It wasn't a bad stop because it was triple digits during our visit but I probably will not comeback. read more

We decided to try because of the reviews, but unfortunately it does not live up to our expectation. Double Matcha: Matcha latte with cream top: 3.5/5. Ordered the matcha latte with double matcha, hoping for something bold, instead got an overwhelmingly vegetal, almost swampy flavor without any of the nuance that makes good matcha worth it. The matcha itself isn't shining through so much as it's just... grassy and flat. The cream top is fine, but it can't save what's underneath. Small portion for the price makes it harder to justify. Maybe we did not get their popular item, which is the matcha parfait and soft serve, but it's still quite disappointing. Cute interior with tables for study or work. read more

The young lady working at the counter was friendly, helpful, answered our questions and gave great suggestions. I ordered the banana pudding matcha and it was delicious. Everytime we come to vegas this is always one of the spots we definitely have to go to before coming back home. Their matcha latte is always on point, staff is always so nice and helpful with the seasonal menu. If you go around lunch time and dinner time it might be a bit hard to find a place to sit. But there is a restroom inside!! Just grab your goodies and go, its so good i doubt itll last long anyway lolol read more

Their black sesame is wonderfully roasted Cheese match black sesame matcha latte Matcha Kuromitsu with Kinako Cream - described to us as a matcha sweetened with brown sugar and then cream on top with soybean powered Nice seating inside with natural wood accents that complements all the natural light coming in. Drinks: 5 Service: 5 Ambiance: 4 We are huge matcha lovers in this household, so whenever we're traveling, we're always excited to try different matcha spots. We stumbled upon Urban Matcha through the Yelp app (thank you, Yelp!), and we're so glad we did. Urban Matcha is located in Chinatown in a somewhat random strip mall, but it sits on the corner, so it's easy to spot from the street. We visited during the holiday season, and it was definitely busy. That said, even though the place was packed, it didn't feel stuffy, and the service was still friendly and efficient. There was a line, but it moved quickly and gave us time to look over the menu and decide what we wanted. We ordered the banana matcha latte and the matcha parfait, and we were lucky enough to grab a seat. Considering how busy it was, our drinks came out surprisingly fast. First of all, everything looked beautiful, and thankfully, it tasted just as good. The banana matcha latte was perfect. I don't like my matcha overly sweet, and this one had just the right level of sweetness. The banana cream was thick, rich, and absolutely delicious. The matcha parfait was gorgeous with all its layers, topped with soft serve ice cream, and it definitely hit the spot. We will absolutely be back whenever we're in the area. I've been coming to Urban Matcha for years (since it was originally Matcha Bar back in the day.) It is my go-to Matcha place, absolutely perfect Matcha flavor every time! Anytime I have friends or family visiting from out of town that are huge Matcha lovers I bring them here! They have plenty of seating, pretty nice size tables ranging from smaller squares, to larger circle tables to pretty good size community tables. Very clean, minimalistic, open space. It's a great place to hangout, it can get pretty busy sometimes. And that parking lot in general... sometimes I've gone there and had a hard time finding parking (I've actually left out of frustration before) it really just depends when you go. You do have a lot of really well-known local places in that shopping center that get incredibly busy especially late afternoon/early evenings on weekends from my experience. Haven't really had a problem when I've gone on a weekday. They have a really awesome menu! If you're not a Matcha person... but you're going with a matcha person.. they do have some coffee drinks as well! They have egg salad sandwiches and tuna sandwiches, and a few different desserts including layered crêpe cakes. My favorite thing to get there is their Matcha float latte, it's kind of the best of both worlds where you get your Matcha latte and a Matcha soft serve all in one! There are so many different combinations that you can get there of different types of green teas, either in tea form, latte, floats, parfait, and so many different flavors and toppings like they have their banana Matcha latte, which is really good!! They have quite a few flavors of soft serve (and don't worry for the ones that don't like Matcha, but are going with a Matcha person they have ones like black sesame, Ube, vanilla, etc. I miss their lychee flavor... I believe it was a limited time flavor, and I absolutely loved that soft serve... please bring it back!) and they're absolutely perfect, the texture and consistency of their soft serve is great. Tonight I got their Matcha and vanilla swirl soft serve on a waffle cone with chocolate syrup. (I had a birthday reward, They have a really awesome rewards program!) and it brought me joy in a way that I can't even put words and it was the perfect after dinner dessert and a great way to end the evening! It's an awesome place if in the middle of the day you need your Matcha fix, you need caffeine but you're not a coffee person. It's also really great place for a semi-late night (I believe they close at 10? so it's not like super late or anything, but still open until a pretty decent time) dessert and catch up with friends! I love matcha, so of course I had to come here. This spot is in the heart of Chinatown and has a versatile menu with everything from matcha lattes and frappes to gelato, cream puffs, and hojicha. My friend and I got matcha parfaits, which had great variety and texture. They come with matcha gelato, red bean, mochi, chestnut, and matcha soufflé pieces. The matcha soft serve really stood out because it's smooth and has authentic matcha flavor. It's not as creamy as other ice-creams, but we liked that the flavor wasn't bitter or too sweet. I l loved the contrast of the textures in it, but we didn't care much for the agar jelly balls. My friend also really likes the black sesame gelato here. Everything is made in-house. It gets busy during peak times. It can be hard finding a spot in the parking lot, and tables fill up quickly. It seems like a popular place to hangout with friends, because there were a lot of groups in the cafe. Still, this is a great place to bring someone who loves matcha. This has become my favorite spot for matcha soft serve. If you're looking for authentic, true-to-flavor rather than just a sugar rush, this is the place to go. They offer a few variety, including Matcha, Black Sesame, Ube, and Vanilla. Each one tastes exactly like it should--earthy and rich, not artificial. $6.79 for a cone or cup. The serving size is enough to share with a friend. The parking lot can get packed, especially in the evenings. Be prepared to hunt for a spot or park nearby. read more

Our drinks were delicious! It was our first time visiting and I am so pleased we found this place. I am a huge fan of hojicha but to have the option of black sesame and cheese foan in it was literal perfection. The drink was balanced and not too sweet. We took a chance on their popular banana pudding matcha latte. I ordinarily would not pick something like this but it was so good!
