This was pretty good- Liked the hummus,, like the beef kabob. Mom had a shrimp dish special. She thought it was very good. (she got lots of food) I had order one of the chicken dishes-got the beef kabob. LOL it was good and I was almost going to order it. Mom did ask if they had a chai tea or something. We thought we got a confirmation that they did.... they brought two american lypton tea bags and some hot water. Didn't charge us for it. Weird my food came out first and about ten minutes later my mom's food came out. Will say parking is not in front of the restaurant. The food was good. The waiter was nice. Just rolled with the flow on the food. There was a service fee on the receipt of 10% Because of the service fee and the parking being far away might choose other places. Mom was happy that we got out of our regular neighborhood. We actually were going to try the small plate place next door. I really liked the rice. In general happy with it as long as you can roll with the flow. Has a south facing patio- might go back for a summer evening. read more

The new owner was so kind and welcoming, and the food was even more delicious than before, the kafta plate was juicy and scrumptious and our food critic son loved it! My husband loved his chicken shawarma plate and our son also ate some of that dish & remarked "this is great!" The baklava was amazing along with the chai tea and the waitress was so sweet and helpful -- we will definitely be coming back often. read more

Fantastic service and even better food! My wife and I decided to try this restaurant on a whim for lunch. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. Our waitress was great with her recommendations and attention to detail. The food we ordered was cooked to perfection and such an amazing first taste of Mediterranean cuisine. She even threw in extra pita with our to go boxes when I mentioned my sister was watching our kids and wanted to try this place for a while. THIS IS NO LONGER THE CRAVE II THAT YOU USED TO LOVE. Not sure if it is new management but the name has changed and the food is subpar. They got rid of the mixed grill and replaced it with the Giant Mix Grill Combo (Karisik Kebab). It is actually smaller than the original and $25 more expensive than the original. the Giant doesn't even include the normal amount of sides either. SOOO disappointing. DO NOT ORDER FOOD HERE. in fact, don't even go there anymore. So sad. that place used to be amazing. Total waste of money now. read more

I previously posted great reviews for this place. It was Lebanese food, tasty, and we would order takeout every other week. Sometime in April the business was sold and the new owner changed it into a Turkish restaurant. The menu has changed, mostly prices that are jacked up 20-50% higher depending on what you order. The Combo plate (feeds 4) for the Lebanese owner was $49.99 with 6 skewers of meat chicken, lamb, kafta, steak, lots of rice, vegetables, special garlic spread pitas along with tasty hummus and babaganoush, extra pitas and for take out it was a full tray. This new owner is RIPPING OFF diners and take out. They are now charging DOUBLE for what they call the "Mixed Grill Combo" and it's HALF the food They give you a light amount of rice on the bottom that is enough for two people 1/2 the meat, bland hummus and babagnoush, no garlic pitas and they give you a bag of pitas (they don't make their own) and what they call a salad is disgusting. It's shredded lettuce and cucumber. The meals that are on the menu for one person such as chicken shawarma used to be $15.00 on the previous owner The new owner jacked this up to $20.00. After this last take out we decided we are voting with our feet and going elsewhere. We won't be back as long as it's run by the "turkish owner". read more

This place is a ghost town. This is second time we went with friends who were visiting denver. They were also disappointed. 1) i guess management has changed, no quick servicing from the waiters. 2) many of the chicken entrees are not available. 3) our friends kids ordered lemonade, we were stun after tasting it. Its the worst lemonade i have ever tasted in my entire life. 4) quality of food reduced from our first visit. I will never visit again period. read more

OMG!!! Lived in CO since 2005 and we've finally found very flavorful Mediterranean cuisine. Not since Pasadena CA have we found a place, the combo of spices, fresh humus, and the dinner plates are filling. Only room for improvement is the rice, need a bit more moisture but the meat juices add to it, doesn't impact a 5 star rating. I hear the deserts are homemade and will try them tomorrow!! read more

After our takeout experience my husband and I are completely confounded about all of the positive reviews. Neither the food nor the experience was good. My husband waited 45 minutes for our order in a nearly empty dining area with a children's cartoon blaring on the tv and a staff member's child running around. The food was an exceptional let down as his gyro was inedible because the meat was hard as a rock...literally. He dropped a piece on the table and it had an audible clunk. The vegetarian platter did not consist of what the menu description listed and had several unidentifiable items. The tiny amounts of hummus and baba ghanouj provided with the platter were laughable but since neither tasted good I guess it doesn't matter how little there was. The hummus lacked any flavor other than tahini and needed salt. The baba ghanouj had a nice smoky flavor but was the consistency of apple sauce...chunky smoky applesauce. Not good. The falafel was seasoned well but dense and mushy. The rice was great but that basically means we paid $60 for seasoned rice. Needless to say we will not be going back. Ever. read more

Really tasty food at a reasonable price. We had the gyro sandwich entrees, which come with a small serving of fries and extra tzatziki sauce. We splurged for both kinds of baklava (walnut and pistachio) for dessert. We also tried the Turkish Tea - a pleasant mix of mild black tea + some aromatics. Lovely & clean surroundings. We went there based off of Yelp reviews. Immediately we noticed that the table linen had a food stain from previous diners. There were many other tables available so I can't say they were busy and didn't have time to clean properly. The service was very lackluster and inattentive. Don't go there if you want a nice atmosphere. Regular dining room with big screen TV's showing a still picture of the Mediterranean Sea. Absolutely delicious food. We got the large combo for 3 adults and had some to take home! The meal started with a small lettuce salad, then hummus, tadziki (sorry I can't spell it!) sauce, and another awesome con. The main course was all varieties of meat, broiled tomatoes, broiled jalapeños, rice and bulgur (we asked for some of each) We ended with baclava that was served with ice cream. Good food, terrible service. Waitress didn't clear our plates and ended up putting a plate of baklava on top of my dinner plate with food still on it. It was really strange to say the least. Still after not clearing plates from the table, she brings the bill and lays the tab across the top of our water glasses due to her not clearing said plates. Crave II is an authentic, family owned Mediterranean restaurant. From stuffed grape leaves to gyros to baklava, everything was incredibly delicious! The owner's son served us, and he's a super-polite cutie. When we told him the baklava was the best we'd ever had, he told us his sister would be so happy, since she was the one who made it.
