Soupa Kai Salata

The service here was impeccable. Everyone was so kind, I loved the vibe. They also did amazing at having GF options, even a dessert! The meatballs were great. I enjoyed the grilled cheese. The soup was my least favorite, mainly due to the dill flavoring. I wish I could have tried some of the pasta, maybe gluten free in the future?!

Gyro sandwich with hand cut fries

I stopped by Yanni's and had lunch after running errands. I ordered a Gyro sandwich with a side of fries and a Diet Coke. The Diet Coke tasted great. Not the usual toned down taste one can often get from the bar fountain soda gun. Fries were excellent. I could tell they were hand cut and fresh. Gyro sandwich was average. My server was polite. He could speak up and more clearly. Other than that, he was fine with me. Ambiance is mellow. Place is clean and service was good. I would stop by again for lunch.

Greek salad with grilled chicken

After a business meeting that ran late, a colleague and I were looking for a place that was open for lunch. We saw Janni's had decent reviews and we both like Mediterranean food, so we gave it a shot. It was mid afternoon so it wasn't very crowded. We were seated right away by a very friendly server. Both of us ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken. It was served very quickly. There was an ample amount of chicken, and everything was very good. Our server was fantastic. Would definitely go here again if I was in the area.

Chicken Souvlaki

Always amazing! I normally get the gyro plate to go but yesterday I got the chicken souvlaki and it was phenomenal! The chicken was so tender and had a lot of flavor. My fiancée had the lamb souvlaki which was also very good. I recommend getting their spicy red pepper sauce (I can't remember the name of it) because it is yummy with this dish and tzatziki. We also had a bottle of Greek wine, also very good. Service was fantastic, and as always the owner was there and gave us a little shot! If you want truly good food, this is a fantastic choice.

Chicken Kabob

Ordered a takeout order when I walked in. Nice little restaurant. They have a big, true Greek, menu. These chicken kabobs are gross, I dunno if all the liquid on the bottom is water from the rice or dressing on the salad, the rice is awful, the veggies are good and crisp, and the chicken is good. The tzatziki sauce I got in one cup was good and the other cup was super watery and gross which I don't understand. It's like they had one good scoop left and then dumped the rest into the other sauce container. They messed up my order also. I paid for lamb and chicken and got all chicken... Also paid for Dolmas, no Dolmas... I paid over $60 for chicken and veggies... Absolutely NOT worth it... I'd avoid this place for sure! Greek To Me is 1000 times better and way less expensive! Persian food is also good in this area, Surena is a good spot. There's a lot better choices around here than this overpriced restaurant...

If you love Greek food, Yanni's is a must try! Everything I ate was wonderful. The gyro meat flavorful, the tzatziki rich and creamy, fresh onions, tomatoes and cucumbers; I was in heaven. The portions of all the plates coming from the kitchen were huge! Yanni himself also came around with little plastic shot glasses to try a Greek liquor on the house! Our server kept us entertained the entire night as well. There's also paintings and wine scattered throughout the entire restaurant. A welcoming environment to create a delicious dinner. At around $30 a person, Yanni's isn't cheap but won't break the bank either and it is well worth it in my opinion.

Yanni's serves amazing Greek food and provides fantastic service. I was driving during a fairly long road trip, and got hungry towards the end of my drive; it was late in the evening and not many food options were available. I did a search and found this restaurant nearby. I was promptly greeted and seated. I ordered the Lamb Souvlaki kebab. I was first provided bread service, which was very good. Soon after receiving my breast service, my meal was served. My lamb kebab was absolutely amazing. The lamb was cooked perfectly, it was extremely tender and very flavorful. The lamb was served on a bed of rice with sautéed vegetables. It was so delicious I ate the entire entrée. My server was extremely friendly and attentive, I highly recommend this restaurant.

The cafe uses a fast casual, order at the counter approach for serving food and has a sizable dining area. Service was friendly. I ordered the meatball marinara sandwich ($11). The sandwich took about 15 minutes to be served and was freshly made. The flavor was good for both the meatballs and marinara. Bread was fresh and the sandwich was served hot. Overall, the sandwich was bread heavy. The 7-8" sandwich only consisted of two meatballs halved with marinara and cheese. I was also disappointed the sandwich did not include more meat or any accompanying vegetables. By comparison, Cheba Hut up the street serves a $11.59 8" meatball sandwich with more but smaller meatballs and vegetables at no extra costs.

The gyro platter was easily one of the best we've ever eaten. The dolmades, hummus, and warm pita were all absolutely delicious, and the baklava was the perfect sweet ending. This is truly a two-person operation, and it's impressive how everything still came out quickly, fresh, and made to order. I paid $22 for a salad with a single skewer of chicken but wait-- it was spoiled. I swallowed a little bit of it but spit out the rest. We ended up throwing it away. Something was wrong with that food and I'm nervous about what my stomach will be like later today. I walked into an empty restaurant which I figured was just my timing but after reading some of the most recent reviews, I can see why. I just saw 4.4 stars with over 800 reviews and said this place must be good. Wow was google a liar today. The fries were refried so they were gross. The chicken was bad and $22 for a crappy wilted salad with unripened tomatoes and barely any dressing. The gyro was the only thing that was decent but after the spoiled chicken, I was pretty grossed out so I barely ate any of my half. one half of a tomato slice on my $15 gyro. Save yourself the money, the stomach issues and being grossed out to the point your nauseous like I am right now.
