Recently I branched out and booked a massage with Kellie, Dr. Faro's wife, who has a spa adjoining the chiropractic office. In my decade of massage experiences, I don't think anyone has ever been as thorough and worked as deeply (but with care) in my muscles as she did. Other things to note: while Alternative Care carries nutritional supplements and other back/foot support items like many chiropractic offices, they also operate a healthy cafe with juice, smoothies, sandwiches and the like in the same center, called Cafe Crema; hours tend to vary, but they are currently open weekdays during lunch til 3.

The staff assisted me in getting some O2 (they have an oxygen bar) as I was experiencing a coughing fit from the salt. They also provided me with some additional water. The cryo space isn't for the faint of heart. You're LEGIT in a freezer (they give you gloves, socks, slippers and a mask to wear. You're supposed to stand in there for 3 minutes (I made it 60 seconds ). The sauna and salt rooms are accessible to those who need/use a walker but the cryo is not (you must be able to stand without assistance and there's nothing to hold onto inside the freezer). There is ample parking as the Riverview location is in a strip mall.
