We found out there was a lot of mold growing and it was impacting our air quality and worried us about our young child's health growing up around mold like that. We liked that the company is locally owned and operated, the owner came out quickly and worked around our schedule (great communication the entire time), and provided us cost estimate options so we could pick the level of service we wanted. The work was completed on time as promised and we instantly saw a huge benefit of better air quality, decreased AC bill, and they went above and beyond to help fix a few squeaky floor boards by helping reattach some floor supports that came loose over time. They came right away and worked with our schedule so the work could be done meeting our travel and without disruption to our daily lives. I think the greatest part of this experience was how personal the service was. Reese, the owner, even personally came back a few months after the work was complete to check and make sure everything was still in place, nothing was missed, and even helped us identify a leak we previously had no idea about. They did a fantastic job and a firm we really liked working with. I wish everyone who provided home services were as honest, hard working, personable, and professional as Crawlspace Cowboys. This is not a paid post and I am a real customer. I thought it was important to share our experience after talking to many neighbors who went with other companies. We quickly realized what Crawlspace Cowboys offered was unique given the level of service, price point, and overall quality of work. One of the reps came by and did an inspection of the crawl space and was extremely professional and I could tell that he knew what he was talking about when it came to crawl spaces and foundations. A few hours later I had a bid for the job that was very reasonable and I decided to move forward with the work. After the work was completed, I had my own structural engineer take a look at the work (always recommended), and he found a few additional items that he said needed to be taken care of prior to him writing a letter certifying that the structure was sound. Matt was in the crawl space with my inspector during his review and said that he would take care of any issues. A week later the work was completed and Matt worked with my structural engineer for a re-inspection and it passed. Matt was a pleasure to work with and the reason that I recommend this company so highly. He is a man of his word and if he says he is going to do something, it gets done. He wants to make sure you are happy as a customer and he will go great lengths to ensure you are.

The estimate was so thorough that we knew how many joists and even the square footage of sill that we had to have replaced. We got many estimates for the job (which was lifting the house, almost a complete rebuild of the bottom, mildew treatment, and full encapsulation). Moisture Control was not the cheapest, but they were by far the most thorough and professional. We felt completely reassured that our house would be taken care of, and boy were we right! Terry and his crew are extremely hard workers and went above and beyond to take care of our house, even though our crawlspace was very bad. We are so thankful for these guys.
