About 20 minutes later, Cameron arrived at my home. After inspecting my system, Cameron found that the outdoor condenser coil was completely blocked with dirt and dog hair. He explained my repair options: a one-time coil cleaning for about $345, or enrollment in the Advantage Plan, which included the cleaning plus another maintenance visit in six months. The monthly plan was $17.08 +tax for 12 months, or $245 if paid annually. I chose the monthly Advantage Plan membership. I was grateful that Cameron was able to thoroughly clean the coil and get my air conditioning running again. I especially appreciated how clearly he explained how the system works. He told me that when the coil becomes dirty, the refrigerant can't cool properly. As a result, the pressure rises until the high-pressure safety switch shuts the system down to protect it from damage. Cameron also took the time to explain everything included in the Advantage Plan membership and what would be done during the six-month maintenance visit. He was professional, knowledgeable, and patient in answering my questions. I highly recommend Aireserv and their technician, Cameron. He did an outstanding job for me. -- Phil Honsinger Castle Hayne NC

They had fixed an issue I wasn't really aware of. Which I appreciate. But not the reason I had called my warranty company. So I'm guessing there was just a little bit of a mixup. Anyways, when I had mentioned to the young man that my dryer vent that's connected to my wall was the issue. He said that they don't deal with that. Then I proceeded to ask why there was a dryer car outside keep in mind. I have been very polite. I have not spoken out of words. I asked very politely just because I am the only person home with my two kids. So he proceeds to say yes ma'am I'll go ask the older guy that he was with. So when he went outside to ask. He kind of just started talking about what I had said and laughed about it and then the old man proceeded to laugh with him and kind of mock me because I didn't know what I was talking about. Keep in mind this is not my career nor do I know your day-to-day life. So they come inside he explained to me that he is borrowing his buddies work van. Then kind of tries to mansplain to me that they don't fix that that my warranty doesn't cover it and that I should've told my warranty company what the actual problem was, which I did. I called my warranty company to talk to them as well and they fix the issue. I proceeded to tell them that I heard them laughing at me because they continue to laugh explaining everything to me in front of my face. And I said "yes it's very funny because my door camera works. I heard y'all laughing at me and making fun. " he proceeded to say "we didn't say anything out of the ordinary " which is correct you didn't, but you still proceeded to laugh and mock at me because I didn't know what I was talking about. I am a stay at home mom this is not my career so of course I had questions. Of course I was curious about why there was a dryer car when I specifically called for someone to fix my dryer. I called the company and she just said "I'm sorry you felt that way, they did call me and told me about the situation." I proceeded to tell her that there is very bad people out there that would've reacted way worse than me. I even said thank you and have a good day as the two men left my house. I asked them very politely to leave. I explained all of this to her and she still didn't do anything but say I'm sorry you felt that way if you needed someone out there for the dryer it's gonna be retail price. I just said OK thank you have a good day. I'm completely baffled about how the company handled the situation and how unprofessional they were. They were very nice to my face and did not know that my camera was working due to the toddler look they had on their face like they just snuck a bunch of cookies that they weren't supposed to have. When I mentioned my camera was working. I offered to save the footage and email it to the company and she didn't want it.

Service actually didn't clean the grout nearly to the clean we know is possible. Price also seemed excessive. About a month later we had people tell us we should reach out to company because house is unoccupied and still not ok.. So we did. We got told it was a month and a few days so no possible revisit. We had injuries and disabilities preventing us from doing it, and are selling, so we again paid. This time though, my husband has had a new diagnosis of myasthenia gravis at 70 and fell twice in front of them and clearly needed help. The techs ended the cleaning by telling him that they created work for my disabled husband by not replacing rug under kitchen table and chairs and that we'd have to do it. No one told us this before servicing. They knew this was not possible for him to do. I called the company and told them our concerns and that there'd be an open house the following weekend and manager albeit unsympathetic, said he'd get someone there by Friday and still had door code. Open house occurred Sunday and rugs were not put back as promised. Our realtor lady had to do it. Floor showed areas of lighter and darker grout which is worse than just being dirty . Never again. Next comes the vent cleaning that was done in between floor cleanings. They said they'd be out for an estimate. We arranged to be there even though my husband had just gotten discharged from hospital. We were on our way there when we got a call from them and a sales guy explained that they don't do in person quotes anymore and just wanted me to say all of the air return sizes and number of vents in our home. How the hell can I do that out of my head?? I asked. He said it was an estimate but exact number of vents and air return sizes would be done by tech and price would be adjusted. $1400 we were quoted. The following week, the code was given. Tech arrived and wouldn't start service unless paid in advance. I explained that we didn't have a price only an estimate. He demanded payment and said our quote was the price. I explained that when asked for number of vents I over estimated so I'd get a quote higher than expected and not be surprised by actual quote. He said the price was the price. $1400 to start vent cleaning. I asked what if those numbers were way off? He said he'd throw in a dryer vent cleaning or something. I told him we paid for that already in the quote. He said hed figure out something. Due to hospitalizations we were not able to be there and reluctantly paid. How good of job?? I have no idea. We asked how many actual vents there were and he said he'd throw never counted because it didn't matter. The price was the price. We had 22 vents, not 30 we now found out. We also paid for deodorant in vents. We don't know if that was actually done or not. I kid you not it smelled worse after vent cleaning than before. Can I blame tech? Officially no. But vent cleaning sure wasn't what we expected nor did we expect to get manipulated into accepting an estimate as actual price. We would not have done it if we knew in advance. We will never use Stanley steamer again and fair warning to anyone with disabilities.. they will make work for you instead of helping you! I would have been better off on my hands and knees scrubbing grout with my back injury than all the work and driving they created for us.

We used Angi's to find a contractor and unfortunately for us All About Energy was the only option presented to us. At first, All About Energy was great. The receptionist or scheduler was so nice and friendly and we were contacted quickly to set up a visit from one of their inspectors to come out and give us a quote. That's about where the positives end. On the day they were scheduled to come out I get a call from the inspector letting me know that I had to be bumped until later in the day. I had an appointment at 1 so he said he'd be by at 2. I agreed. He doesn't get here until 2:20. When he arrives I lead him up to the attic space where he notices he needs a ladder. He asks if I had one because he didn't want to go out to his car to get his. So I grab him a ladder and he does the inspection. After coming down he is repeatedly telling me that this is a small job and they don't typically do these jobs but he's do us a favor by doing it this time. We tentatively agree on the time and date that the work is going to happen and he informs me that he's get the quote out to me that night. That night I never got the quote so the next day I text him. He says that he sent it and that it must be in my spam. It wasn't. An hour later I call him and he is insistent that he sent the he quote. I send over my email address again and that's when he notices he had the wrong email address. No big deal. He sends me the quote and I tell him at that time that we were in the process of getting a second quote from a mother company that k had found that day and I'd be in touch once we made a decision. A week later the other company comes by to give us their quote. An hour after they leave All About Energy arrives to do the work. We never got a confirmed date or time of when the work was going to be done. We never paid a deposit or signed a contract. The driver was super nice and apologetic though and left without any issues. I get a phone call from the inspector just a few minutes later aggravated that I had turned away the driver. He said we had agreed to the work. When I told him no one sent me a confirmation of date and time he reached out to the home office and that's when they found out home office had my wrong email address. The inspector was very rude the entire time and told him we were going in another direction. I called All About Energy's home office and spoke with the receptionist again (again super nice!) and told her how unprofessional this inspector was. I informed her of why we weren't going with their company and she said she understood and we got off the phone politely and professionally. Enter Chris, the owner of All About Energy. He calls me up within minutes of speaking with the receptionist and at first Chris is nice and apologetic for what we have had to deal with. He offered to come back out to our home and redo the quote since our last quote was missing information. I agreed and he came out that afternoon. The first part of the inspection was totally fine. He explained to us some things more thoroughly and took his time answering questions. Then towards the end he asked my husband to test our thermostats in our house and to send him the information and Chris said that he would follow up with advice as to what we should do about that. Then at the very end Chris started getting political. And as he was leaving he told us that he was firing the guy who came to our house as well as one or two more guys who were just as bad as him. This seemed pretty unprofessional to let potential clients know that you have several employees who are about to lose their jobs. That night my husband sent Chris an email agreeing to the work and answering the questions about the thermostat Chris had asked about. My husband gave Chris a date of today to have the work done and asked that Chris let us know when they were expecting to come out to do the work. Chris never responded to that email. So fast forward to today and we still don't have a confirmed date or time for the installation so I call the main office and I'm told it was sometime today. When I ask when I'm not given any time and am told that they sent me an email about, which again I never got. I told them I do not want to work done due to the unprofessional service we had recieved up to that point and asked to receive no further contact. 3 minutes later Chris texts me going off on me about us agreeing to the work. When I called he immediately cuts me off before I can get a word in saying that he's not going to deal with a customer yelling at him and he was going to do the work for free but not anymore and that he hopes I enjoy paying more for the same service he was going to offer us. I was floored at this response by the "owner" of the company. He continued texting me after I hung up on him telling me to stop c
