I own a Ford f150. I recently had the oil changed by Ford mobile service. The Ford technician…read moreinformed me that I should replace both front and rear brakes pads due to wear, not immediately, but soon. I called for an appointment at Byrd and brought my truck in this morning. I ask for a front and rear brake job, to rotate my tires and perform an all wheel alignment and to check the rear tire for a slow leak. These folks are true professionals. They informed me that I had 40% and 60% of my front and rear brakes pads remaining, (the truck has 82K mikes on it) and therefore I did not need brakes at this time. They rotated the tires and put the truck on the alignment machine. They told me no alignment adjustment was required. I expected to pay for the hours of work that was done to check my vehicle. I got the bill and was surprised that $0.00 amount was due. I actually challenged Tim and said i needed to pay something. He said no all they had done was a complimentary inspection. I appreciate honesty. when they could have followed my directions and replaced all the brakes and on top of that charged me for an alignment. Wow ...they are some honest folks. Needless to say I ended up purchasing the tires and they scheduled the appointment to have them put on right then and there. My appointment time arrives a few days later and it took them around two hours to do all five (including the back spare) and I am very impressed with the quality of work. I had him replace the side rear window on a Porsche Cayenne and he did it for 25% of what the dealership was going to charge - and it came out perfect. He spent five minutes and reported back that it didn't need it, the rock never penetrated the surface layer, the chip would never turn into a crack. Who does that? I was willing to pay whatever it took for him to seal it but he just said it wasn't necessary, no charge. All Class has my business for life!
