Sloppy, shoddy, and unprofessional. Similarly, he got paint on the tabby coating on both sides of the front door, and left paint missing from around the dead bolt. Then came the pocket doors fiasco. I approach this by stating what should have happened. First you inspect and remove one lock and see if it can be repaired and learn what fault exists, potentially precluding excess labor and time. Instead he went to Lowe's to obtain replacement locks, both of which he stated were seriously lacking substance. Yet, he elected to spend two hours boring out new frame openings to allow these new locks to be used. The only way to use the outer door lock is to engage it fully before shutting the door, a quirk, but it worked. The inner master bath lock was another matter. Hours after he left I used the toilet room and engaged that lock, the one never shown while he was present; it was wobbly, made a clicking sound when closing the door, was cheaply made, but it locked. When I tried to open it, it took me four minutes to open the door. I informed him this was unacceptable and these need to be replaced. I ordered replacement locks from Amazon, and kept his apprised of their arrival, so he could repair his mistakes. This never happened. He has no intention of fixing my doors after screwing up the framing. Thus, keep him away from painting doors and repairing locks on pocket doors.

I gave most of his clothes to Mikel, but that wasn't enough. I allowed him to continue working on the master shower while I was in Atlanta for Larry's memorial service. He helped himself to tools among other items I had given to Larry. When I got home, Larry's wedding ring was missing. I asked Mikel about he and he claimed a "cleaning lady" he had there took the ring. He said he would get it back. He returned it. He admitted that had multiple felony convictions. Also, my refrigerator and freezer were emptied. He claimed he turned the power off so he had to throw it all out. They kept coming out and for more money would say they now fixed it. it kept leaking. They said it would stop now it was "fixed." Finally we called other roofing companies who ALL confirmed the plywood and shingles were rotting and had to be replaced. One actually pulled handfuls of rotting material from the roof to show us. They also showed pictures of our roof with ridiculous tar patches that did nothing. The company we hired replaced the damaged section in one day. The Testons talked fast and the elderly owner talked about Jesus and grief to gain trust. I am sorry we gave him the opportunity to lie to us over and over. I am sure he enjoyed spending our money.
