Location was super easy to find, assisted in loading up the car with chairs and tables and super friendly! We originally ordered 20 chairs, however when I got home and began to set up we only counted 19. I emailed the company and she responded almost immediately with a solution! She worked with me on my backyard wedding ceremony in August 2020 and grand wedding reception at the Academy of Sciences in August 2021 taking every curveball the pandemic has thrown our way without batting a lash. We met that Nov at starbucks Sunvalley Mall, and I knew right away that she was the perfect person for us. Me and Omar did get married on May 2018 thru the courthouse and fast forward to early March of 2019, we decided to actually plan for our big wedding which was set on June 6, 2020. Throughout the planning process, we met Danny (Janelle's husband and also part of Visionary Events and Designs team) they are both super talented and supeeeer nice and we just all get along very well, which made this whole wedding journey soooo much better! From creating our vision boards to our meetings which I alwayssss look forward to, Janelle & Danny made sure me and Omar (the groom-zilla) compromise in every decision we make. They are very neutral, explained pros and cons of every lil detail, mind you, there are details that we won't even probably think of until it was all laid down to us. The amount of details from planning a wedding is unbelievable. Which is why we appreciate them a loooot, like A LOT. Unfortunately, COVID hit and we had to postpone our wedding...... not only once but 3X!!! TBH, I seriously do not know what I'd do without Janelle during this time. They completely compromised our event today through broken promises, gross negligence, and a complete refusal to take accountability for their mistakes. The Night Before (False Reassurance):We called the night before our event to secure a specific throne chair. Because we live out of town, we explicitly offered our credit card over the phone to make a deposit and lock it in. An employee named KK refused the payment, confidently assuring us that a remote deposit wasn't necessary and that it was perfectly fine to pay upon arrival today. They even issued us an invoice, leaving us under the impression that our rental was 100% safe. The Morning of the Event (The Betrayal):Today, a family member called to confirm the final pickup details, only to be met with a total shock. They told us, "We don't have that throne anymore; we sent it out on delivery to another party." They quietly re-rented our item behind our backs without a single phone call, text, or warning, completely shattering our event plans. The Runaround (An Hour of Ghosting):Panic set in, and we scrambled to call them back to figure out how this was possible. Suddenly, they stopped picking up. It took an entire hour of continuous dialing just to get someone back on the line. When we finally reconnected with KK, she was completely cold, indifferent, and entirely unapologetic that her false promises had just ruined our event setup. Management (Zero Solutions):KK passed the phone to her manager, Victor, who immediately met our frustration with a defensive, "oh well, it's not our fault" attitude. We were completely desperate and willing to do anything to get the throne we needed, but they gave us absolutely zero solutions or alternatives. While Victor eventually backed down and realized how badly his team botched our reservation, they just shrugged and left us completely empty-handed on the day of our event. They blocked us from securing the item with a deposit, promised it would be held, gave it away behind our backs, and then treated us like an inconvenience. This company lacks basic professionalism, integrity, and empathy. Save yourself the nightmare and take your business elsewhere.
