I've been taking my daughter here for art classes for a while now. I signed her up through Brentwood recreation center. I love how each session has different art projects so she's never bored doing the same thing. She really enjoys taking art classes here. Laura, the owner and instructor is very kid friendly. She's very knowledgeable and does a great job explaining directions to the children. You can tell she has a passion for art. She also offers variety of classes including wood signs, ceramics, canvas, and you can even throw birthday parties too! There's also a corner of the store where you can purchase items from other artists/students. There are premade signs all around the walls which is available to purchase as well. I love this place, they are so up front with everything that you can do! so many different options and they are very up front that they are and have always been a non firing studio. They do ceramics you paint them normally then they put a coat on them for you. They even hosted my birthday party as a wood party and it was the best p place ever for a good price. I highly recommend this studio! They are so much help! They check on you when you need anything at all, new cup of water? Napkins, need to wash your hands they show you to the sink! its an amazing studio with a lot of crafts and known for a lot of stuff! So please check them out! read more

I miss the potter's wheel or even color me mine! This place is not good if you are trying to create a piece of art you want to gift or keep a lifetime. The mugs and dishes are unusable. They are up front about them not being able to eat off of or drink out of. They do not glaze anything. It's like an acrylic paint that smell up everything, even when dry. I was very disappointed in this place after going to color me mine and the potters wheel! Maybe if you go, try doing one of the wood pieces? read more

I attended a paint night at Vic Stewart's tonight and was blown away by the event. It was really well organized, Laura had a great sense of humor, and best of all the most amazing customer service. She went above and beyond to help everyone and when I wanted a custom jeep design for my husband she made it happen. Took my Nana here for a day date on her 61st wedding anniversary & first without her husband. We loved it & had a ton of fun! Laura(I believe the owner?) is super friendly & patient. My Nana's speech is delayed due to medication & Laura not once tried to rush her when my Nana was trying to put together a sentence or repeated herself. I really appreciated her kindness & not rushing us when we probably spent more time than average. I've had terrible anxiety over the past year due to some traumatic experiences my family went through. Sitting there working on my art was extremely therapeutic. I didn't have any anxiety at all. My Nana also said it was relaxing. It's a bit of a drive for us but we'll 100% be coming back. read more

This place is amazing! They offer a multitude of media types, including, but not limited to board brushing, yarn art, ceramics, glass painting, succulent gardens.. the list goes on! They offer guided classes that cater to both adults and children. The ladies that run this place (Laura and Angela) are so patient and caring! My daughters begs to go to their studio! They also offer classes for homeschoolers and take charter vouchers for all of their classes!! My family and I have done almost every class they offer, as well as having my daughter's birthday party there. Everyone (all 20 kids!! YIKES!) had an amazing time. The studio is very well organized, you can see the ceramics available and they also have a list of the other wonderful projects you can do. We HIGHLY recommend coming here! Where do I even begin with raving about Laura and her amazing studio? She has created a phenomenal creative space where my kids have absolutely flourished and thrive. She really just 'gets' the kids and connects so well. Her projects and classes are spot on in terms of pushing the kids and exposing them to new, fun and diverse experiences. The variety of classes and project she offers is also beyond what you will find at other locations and to top it off the cost is absolutely reasonable. This art studio is amazing! We did a girls paint day to celebrate a birthday and were not disappointed. We had the whole studio to ourselves, were able to bring our own food/drinks inside and had so much fun together.
