I'd give it a thousand stars if I could. Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!! I had such an amazing time. So much evidence for the Creation Account. I always believed it but now things that I wondered about are answered. So many things to disprove evolution at every turn. The 4d presentations are a little cheesy but good for kids, but the planetarium was phenomenal. I found myself gasping in awe several times during the Created Cosmos presentation. It was a very humbling experience to realize that out of all of the trillions of planets and stars, God chose this crazy, messed up world and sent his Son to die for us. He didn't start over somewhere else. He chose US! They have an entire section dedicated to a baby's journey in the womb which was awesome. There were some panels and screens discussing abortion and references to sexual activity in that section so maybe that one's not for curious kiddos. There was a hall full of butterflies and beetles on display, dinosaur bones, and a hall with panels with some fascinating Bible facts. It was a truly wonderful experience. This place is well planned. If you arrive after lunch, opt for the 2-day pass if time allows in your plans. We ended up doing a 3-day option which included The Ark Encounter. This place was very informative. We loved the evolutionist vs creationist perspective on various evidence throughout the museum to show what each side believes. The museum shows how the evolutionist theory is wrong and provides evidence to back it up which is informative as well. There were a lot of graphics and videos to help break up all of the text. Our favorite part were the different stories in the Bible, such as Daniel, Hekiziah, Rahab, and more! In addition to the museum they have a playground and a small zoo outside. Because the museum is mostly reading and watching with not too many interactives we recommend taking the kiddos to the zoo and playground first so they can burn some energy before the museum. We loved visiting the Creation Museum! We were there for about four hours and still weren't able to experience it all! They have gardens you can walk around, the museum is full of information and picture opportunities. There's also a planetarium and a 4D theater, coffee shop, restaurant, a zip line, small swinging bridge, petting zoo, a butterfly garden, conservatory, a book store and a couple gift shops. And there's a playground area for the littles. It's a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. They have strollers, ESV and wheelchair rentals too. Highly recommend! We will be back! read more

Absolutely love the Creation Museum! The grounds are beautiful and the displays are beautiful and well done. There is lots of reading to do, and interactive displays too. The Christmas Town live narratives were very well done. The actors were very good! The scenery was beautiful! The zoo was nice. Were looking forward to coming back when it is completely done. The food was not the greatest. The hamburger was dry and the bun tasted stale, the fries were cold and wimpy. The Chicken Salad sandwich was good. You're not allowed to bring your own food or drinks on except for a sealed bottled water. The Christmas lights were beautiful. The conservatory was really nice too. It was nice to see the plants the Bible talks about as well as plants from all over. My family and I do recommend this place. It is good for all ages. It truly brings the Bible alive! read more

Had an awesome experience at the Creation Museum! The exhibits were really well done and easy to understand, with a lot of detail that made everything interesting to walk through. I liked how interactive it was and how it presented its message clearly. The grounds were beautiful too, and everything felt clean and organized. The state of their zoo is appalling--clearly stressed out and poorly attended animals with nothing for play or stimulation. Also note that the security guards are ARMED TO THE TEETH, which did not make me feel safe. And the fact that they are not taxed, being a religious institution, in no way means a savings for you and your family. I did enjoy seeing the fantastical scenarios that their timeline, which puts dinosaurs on the earth at the same time as people, commits them to. An imaginative exercise and I'm glad a place like this exists, but they really have no business keeping animals. read more

Great presentation all around and wish we would have planned a bit better and spent 2 days there. Food was at the best bland and overpriced for the quality of food to purchase there. The most memorable part of my visit to the Creation Museum was unfortunately the depressing zoo area. The animals appear to be kept in very small enclosures with little to no stimulation, and many of them looked sad and lethargic. In addition, most of the animals are purchased from breeders. It's truly sad that a Christian-proclaiming place would have such poor stewardship of their animals. The exhibits themselves are also extremely text-heavy. Be prepared to do a lot of reading, and if it's crowded you may have to wait to move through some of the smaller exhibit spaces because they are pretty tight. If your goal is to gather information and read about creationism, this is a good place for that. However, if you're expecting to see a lot of real artifacts like you would in many other museums, there are actually very few. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly. read more

If I had to sum up the experience in one word, it was would be "strange." I would stick with just the Ark experience if I were you, the museum pretty much covers exactly everything else the Ark experience did so it's not really worth the extra money or time. Not very great for kids since there's a lot of reading that will literally take you hours to get through and the "sin section" of the museum literally made a kid cry and cover her eyes and ears. Do with that what you will but I'd just stick the Ark experience overall. The only part I would go back for is the botanical garden which was absolutely breathtaking. read more

The Creation Museum is filled with biblical information and references, with lots of visual aids and displays. If you're planning a visit, I recommend you plan to take a day, and plan to take your time. Crowds make it more difficult to read the many written plaques, so patience is a virtue you may need. They do have cafes, but I don't recommend them at all. The premade salad was tiny and expensive. Lots of items are pre-packaged for purchase. They have pizza, but I have a gluten intolerance, so I couldn't give you any info on that, except to say that iced tea is not available at the pizza shop; you have to go upstairs for that. For me, I'm glad that I did the visit, but it will probably be a one-time-only visit. read more

Vibe: finally exploring where I invested 25 years ago; while visiting nearby Cincinnati A rental car was needed for the approx. 30 minute ride to The Creation Museum from Cincinnati. The Ark Experience is another 20 mins away. You'd be wise to give yourself several days at Creation and a different day for The Ark. Uber/Lyft were too expensive. It was a full-circle moment as I visited this museum that I supported from its inception. I was however disappointed that it's become so commercialized that everything seemed to have a price tag. Including parking. But once I got inside and saw the enormity of the place, I quickly forgot about it. The museum is filled with historical facts, research, questions and answers, videos, about how the Earth was created by God thousands of years ago vs The Big Bang Theory of millions of years. It explains in great detail about dinosaurs and how they fit into history and became extinct. There's neat animatronics, beautiful grounds, even 4 -D movie experiences to keep you engaged in information overload. This is a perfect place for young and old to visit. Just be prepared. It's lots of standing and reading and walking. So give yourself ample time (days) to enjoy at a leisurely pace. A walker with seat works well for those of advanced age or bad knees. A stroller for small ones is a necessity, just recognize their attention span will fade quickly with all the reading. Wear comfy shoes and bring a water bottle for refilling. Here we go!! Large parking lot. Gate to check in. Paid parking and admission. So much to see and do!!! Planetarium. Snake show. Corrie Tenboom hollacost story which was incredibly touching!! Such a privilege to hear the story. The gardens left me in awe as did all the exhibits. There is so much to see,touch,read etc. I can't express enough what an incredible live action place this is. I have seen and experienced much. I loved the full length information and the skulls were so dang cool to see. I WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN AGAIN AND AGAIN. I got so many pressed pennies and learned so many things. I love how detailed things were. Such a wonderful experience for the whole family. It was the book of Genesis in the bible came to live. About the beginning of creation of this world, the creation of Adam and Eve and the story of Noah's ark. It also explained about the view of worldly science, dinosaurs, and evolution VS the bible fact on how the bible historian and science bible trump the worldly fact about dinosaurs, evolution, and the races. Its amazing how the bible expert did their research and debunk the worldly science big bang. I love how interactive this creation museum and they have carousel rides for free, playground, and botanical garden that included with your tickets. They have little zoo for the kids and some movie about creation that the whole family can enjoy. For the stars fan, the have small planetarium for extra fee. This place has been on my bucket list for years and it was as good as I'd expected. The displays showed how a biblical creation worldview is different from a naturalistic evolutionary worldview. The grounds are absolutely stunning, so you'll want to allow time to wander those. The zoo was closed the day we were there. Forewarning, there is quite a bit of walking and most displays include quite a bit of reading. I'm not sure our children would've enjoyed it as much as we did, but we aren't in that stage of life. We went to the Creation Museum last week. The museum is an excellent way to see natural history in a fresh way from a Creation Science perspective. The museum and all facilities are very clean and well laid out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent day! A couple of tips! First, if you like to read the placards in museums you should plan a full day here. I like to read everything, and we were there most of a day. Second, you can pack lunch and go out to your car to eat! This is very helpful if you have dietary restrictions like we do. Alternatively, you can email them and request ask about options. I don't think I am the audience for this, but I'm not sure who is. There is a significant focus on dinosaurs, and comparing evolution and Christianity. They make black and white arguments, which I'm not sure will drive anyone to 'change their mind'. At any rate, it is a bit of a maze, and there are speakers and brief films along with the exhibits. Many of the exhibits are impressive in their presentation, but do require a lot of reading vs. more interactive tools. We went to a couple of the 4D movies; one was ok, the other was a bit odd as they added impacts (like someone kicking your seat), and puffs of air that didn't really align with the presentation. The zoo was closed the day we were there, and the gardens were just starting to bloom and were very pretty and pleasant. read more

We went the day after the Ark. Not as much walking but still ALOT of walking. The botanical gardens were do peaceful , just beautiful. Lots of exhibits to stand, read and then proceed do I again recommend that you get there early. Go thru the museum then go for the shows. Lots of them are included in price but I would also recommend going to the ones and are not. There was enough time once I was finish with this, I would have gone back to Ark. But our group was heading home. So....I recommend the bouncer pass, so that you could go back to Ark if you had time. This also is great for those who believe and fir those who do not! Yet read more

I tell EVERYONE about the Creation museum as well as the ARK! It amazes me how many people have not enjoyed the Christmas lights or the beautiful grounds. I do miss the Zonkey, Zorse and Camel that now reside at the Ark! Petting zoo is still great as well as the PLAYGROUND! Moms and Dads this is the place! Love love love! I do wish they would continue free parking for surrounding counties! What a bummer :( also the live nativity is inside and "scheduled" I've been coming for so many years and this just put a damper on things ... I was told one time and didn't make it. Though many people prefer the Ark, I enjoyed the Creation museum better. I'd recommend both if you've never been. There is a beautiful garden here and I definitely recommend to leave some time to walk through the garden. The main exhibition follows the 7-C structure, creation, corruption, catastrophe, confusion, Christ, cross, consummation. It has lots of reading. I really enjoyed the videos in the Legacy Hall, which is at the end of the main exhibition. My favorite video of that day was Fearfully and Wonderfully Made, which focused on the first days of the embryo development. it's a bit nerdy and lecture like, though it's so fascinating. I felt so touched by the miracles after miracles during the development process of a baby. There is a 4-D show included in the admission, In Six Days. It's a popular show and make sure to join in the line, if people start to line up. The shows in the Planetarium needs extra tickets, I watched the Created Cosmos. Get the ticket early, otherwise the time you want may be sold out. The hours various from season to season, make sure the check their website. They always close on the Sunday morning. I'd suggest to spend a full day here, and check the time for each activity you want to participate. Some planning may involved if you want to make the most of it. read more

Please pay attention to my notes on Covid guidelines here. Came here on a Saturday in March. I think it is the first Saturday they are open. We bought tickets a year ago and were unable to come because of the pandemic. They would not refund our money and this was the last day we could use them before losing our money. So we drove to Kentucky to see this museum and the ark. It was not terribly busy, which is a good thing because no one enforced social distancing. There were signs that masks were required, Unless you have a medical reason to not wear one.. But there were plenty of people without masks, including employees or people wearing them under their chins. I do not know the regulations in Kentucky at this point in time. It may be ok, I just don't know. Maybe the mask signs are just a suggestion. So the museum itself was not bad. It was laid out strangely to me. When you come in, generally the first thing people do is go to the 4D movie. It was about wait for it... Creation! It was well done with the exception of random flashing lights. Once or twice would've been OK but the lights kept flashing and it gave me a headache. There are also puffs of air that come out from the sides of the theater. my friend that was cool, I thought it was unnecessary. Especially in times of Covid I just don't think we need to be blowing air around. There were some excellent displays regarding the Bible and biblical history. To me, this was the best part of the museum. There were some cheesy displays with robotic people and animals but they may have been aimed toward children. There were a lot of dinosaur displays. If you like dinosaurs this will be right up your alley. The insect display was well done. Very large group of beetles. I had read there was a zoo/petting farm but that was not open. The zip line was open but we did not do that. The gardens were open but given that it is March there was not much to see there. We ate lunch in Noah's café. It is a cafeteria style place to dine. There were a fair number of choices. My friend had a hamburger. I had chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese. They were surprisingly good. With two drinks the total came to $22. Not cheap, but all things considered I've been charged more for less. So I would probably give the museum four, but the lack of social distancing and masks made me knock it down to a three. And the cheesy robotic displays detracted for me as well. read more

My family's visit to the Creation Museum was every bit of amazing. There is so much educational material and so many displays that you will need to make a day of your visit in order to not miss out on any of it. From the moment you enter the outdoor area on the walk to the indoor museum everything around you is breathtakingly beautiful. There are several gift shops with great souvenirs. There is a zip line outside of museum. There are also two restaurants with a variety of delicious food as well as a sweet shop. There are stroller and wheel chair rentals available. Vosited Dec 27, 2023 Anyone with any type of bag, duffle etc the employees checked it. They are a firearm free area. I guess concealing a weapon on your person isn't as popular as putting it into a bag. I could have easily walked in with it under my jacket or on my leg. Maybe they weren't looking for firearms but food contraband. I can certainly see why they don't want you bringing any in, might be a reason. The prices on food and drink were equivalent to a sports stadium. Bottled water was $3.59, a small personal pizza I think was $9.xx. We purchased the 3 day pass at $109 each and the $30 3 day parking pass. With tax for 2 adults I think it was $259. All of the employees were helpful when engaged. There is a very hard push around every corner about buying books, dvds, shirts, food etc. A huge part of the museum on each floor is dedicated to merchandise sales, their AIG info, and answers.tv. With the smaller than normal crowd it was still fairly hard to go through the museum. Almost all, likely 80%, of the walk through exhibits you need to read the signs to further define what it's about. Small print, small signs, bad lighting, tight hallways, and TV monitors that couldn't have been larger than 28-32" in size. You are literally shoulder to shoulder with each other trying to read and see the info for each item. You definitely feel rushed due to the crowd trying to access the same above info that is hard to access. My wife whose vision is worse ended up only reading about 40% of what we walked through because you just couldn't reach the display word info unless you wanted to wait 2-4 minutes to see each one. There is apparently a book in their book store which has all the signs in the exhibit in it. Buy it before you walk through. A two pack for $31.98 if you are also intending to visit the Ark Encounter. A single book if you aren't visiting Ark Encounter. The Ark Encounter chaos is even worse in regard to signage and being crowded in exhibit areas. You do receive a map of the whole Creation Museum site, as well as that specific days events. I would say about 40%+ in the museum is truly very basic information almost anyone who has been a Christian for a year or so has certainly already read and should know. I found many displays repeat information of earlier displays. I do quite a bit of research and for myself, didn't learn much that I had not already known from previous learning over the years. I can only speak for myself about this aspect of info presented. Maybe the vast majority of Christians just don't learn the info in the museum and it's performing a great service to mankind. There are many many 5 star reviews, so obviously it is fulfilling a service need. The display animals, individuals, were very well put together. One thing I did notice was anytime they showed displays of something with Eve in it, her face was not fully displayed or quite hidden (her hair covering her face, hand thrown up in front of her face, her lookingo away with something blocking her face... Not so for Adam whose face was usually displayed fully. I am really not sure why they were trying to shame the displays of Eve, but I did not feel it was appropriate. I am not sure if there was an agenda behind that or not. The 4D movies also were very basic information of Bible events. I was really hoping for some real meat. One thing I didn't like was after the first movie, the next one on a different subject started about 10 minutes later. Instead of letting you stay in your seat and watch the next one, you are asked to leave, and go get in line behind all the other people in line. Kind of tacky. They should ask if you plan on staying for one or both, and then adjust the line to service those who are going to be lining up later. All in all if you you have a pretty good grasp on the Bible, science, evolution you will probably not really gain much insight that you didn't already know. The fossil displays, the time line displays of rulers, day to day life in Jewish Roman Greek culture was the best of the displays for me personally. I guess if you are someone looking to contrast evolutionary views vs biblical views it might help you gain insight on each perspective. It simply boils down to this at the museum, and it's overall theme. God created a perfect world, sin destroyed that. With the introduction of sin, death entered the world, man's depravity continues to create the miserable world we live in. Someday Jesus will return, and all of His original plan will be restored and evil abolished forever for those who are His children. Bible basics 101. For those who desire visual reinforcement of Bible basics, the Creation Museum is going to be a top notch experience in information and displays. For those who have more of an independent leaning toward personal research and Bible knowledge, save your money. You likely already know 7/8 of what is in the museum. read more

What an amazing and informative museum! I went on a trip with my mother's Church and we spent about 2 hours here! Everything was set up well and you were given two perspectives of creation: scientific or spiritual and the museum talked on both points fairly. This is a great museum for new Christians and old Christians alike. read more

This experience was top notch. The museum was extremely clean, the staff were so friendly and the amenities were plentiful. They offer so much information to read, a 4D theater, a garden, Cafe with plenty of options and plenty of seating. If you have young children, I would recommend this as a summer trip as several of the activities for children were outside such as ziplines and playground equipment. There are indoor activities for children on the lower level but I still feel like they are geared more towards the age of 9 and above.
