We first met up with Tom ( the company President and designer), He measured the area, sketched up some drawings and we all discussed what we thought would be fun, great looking and functional. A few days later, he emailed us blueprints and we met again with another designer, craftsmen. We changed our ideas a few times more before coming up with what we decided on. We scheduled a build and they were very good about keeping to their installation date. A well experienced carpenter showed up and within one day had it all installed. The next day the countertop crew came out to measure and laser scan for the corian countertop. A week later that was installed - perfectly.... We had the black subway tiles installed and had a family gathering to show off our "New Wine Bar". It was a huge hit, everyone loved it. What a improvement to our new home. I went to look for a rolling, plastic draw to keep supplies, lots of tape, bubble wrap, etc. Well, I went walking through to see everything. at his particular store address I had never been to. One man jumped out into the aisle and asked me if I needed help after greeting me cheerfully and kindly. I said, thank you, but I'm just looking around. I placed my purse in the cart and made sure it was visible. I was checking prices on my phone which I did take out of my clear to see purse to compare prices. Seeing that the price was cheaper else wear I continued to look at shelves. I did not see what I needed. I decided to check other stores in the area, so I decided to leave out of the same door as the one I came in and it also says also says to exit. I put my purse on my shoulder and thought should I leave the cart here for the next person at the door? No. I'll be kind and return it at the stack. When going out the door and alarm goes off. OMG! I thought my cart was stuck on the flat rug. I nearly push the back up trying to pull back and push a few times. Then , I noticed, the wheels froze at the doorway. Huh? I'm not even near the end of the property I thought. Until, one of the young ladies at the front desk runs over with some kind of remote and says, oh let me push this button. You're fine. Then, I finished returning the cart. I was upset. I did everything to let security see my purse. I practically walked in down the middle of the aisles. Empty cart. I was mad. I though I should not have to do this. Did the security take their eyes off me and decide to lock up my cart while I looked at items or when I walked in the door? I believe it was one of those. I know it was just for me, because when the alarm went off, a man walked right out the door with his cart and looked at my cart. I have to add, I am a black woman. Also, obviously there is a new way to stop grocery carts before people take off with the goods. I will never go there again. I did enjoy the enthusiastic guy in the back department in the middle. They took care of a drywall+door installation and a bathroom fan replacement. Among the 4 contractors we contacted for this, they were the only ones showing up in person to provide a quote. The others only asked for pictures and provided quotes based on those. The quote from Jose & Angela was very reasonable. A couple of times, as it is often the case, the project required some extra costs due to the unforseen conditions of the door and the fan we purchased. Jose was very transparent in describing the reasons of the additional costs and updated our contract immediately both times. At each step we knew what we were paying for why. Based on our experience, this is not something to be taken for granted. The final job was absolutely high quality. Moreover, Jose and his team did all they could to minimize the impact of dust etc on the rest of the house. I am very happy we (somewhat randomly, via Angi) got to connect with them. They will certainly be our first choice for any future work on the house that falls within their expertise.
