The woman at the entrance was kind and helpful, though she spoke so softly my ADHD brain had to lean in like a detective--but her directions were spot on. Inside the main building, the art from Cuba was the star for me--bold, vibrant, full of life. Some of my absolute favorites were in the Cuban art section--each piece felt like it was humming with its own frequency. The geometric painting (the one drenched in deep reds, burnt oranges, and that sharp black hourglass shape) hit me first. It's bold, mathematical, yet somehow spiritual--like a coded message meant for anyone perceptive enough to catch it. Very "guardian-spirit-meets-mid-century-modern." I stood there longer than I expected. The giant ancient sloth? Unreal. I wish they'd place a modern-day sloth beside it, just so my brain could process the scale without glitching. The bug/kids section was unexpectedly adorable. The kids were living their best lives, and honestly, I was right there with them--zero shame. I did drive over to the second building for the "It's a Ship Show" exhibit, and okay... I see what they did with the title. At first glance I read it as "It's a Sht* Show," and for a split second I thought MOAS got sassy. The artwork leaned heavily into still life, and to me it felt more like pieces you'd find in an upscale lounge, a refined boutique hotel, or a polished restaurant--visually pleasing but not as emotionally stirring as the main gallery. Just my personal taste. I could've spent more time wandering around, but I was on a first date with someone who kept making me laugh. I felt like the loud kid in class trying to stay quiet in a museum. Overall, great value, memorable art, and a surprisingly fun atmosphere. I'd definitely go again--preferably when I'm not giggling through every exhibit.

However, from overall experience, it's not likely we will visit any of the locations again since there are others in the area that seem to be overall better experience. Atmosphere wise much of the facility felt dated and poorly maintained. The floor was painted, and flood and walls had noticeable chipped paint. The tables consisted primarily of plastic picnic tables, and the lockers and wall finishes appeared to be made from basic plywood materials. The décor felt mismatched and out of place, with little cohesive theme or atmosphere. Lighting throughout the facility was less-than. Overall it felt very thrown together and minimally up-kept . The overall space felt smaller than expected as well. There did not appear to be any dedicated party rooms or private event spaces, which limits options for hosting birthdays or group events, although not entirely within the control of the business itself, just more of an aside. I did not use the restroom, so I cannot comment on its condition. The food service was particularly disappointing. If you plan to be here during meal times, I would recommend planning ahead, especially on a weeknight. The kitchen did not appear to be fully operational or adequately stocked, and the food quality was below what I would expect from even a typical convenience store. I hate to say as it seems mean, but it's really an honest comparison based on what I saw. Also, food items that were ordered were forgotten, and employees appeared to be trying to locate supplies and determine how to prepare certain menu items or we're focusing on other things entirely. The soda I ordered was clearly not monitored for replacement and was soda water with a hit of syrup. I observed another customer order mozzarella sticks and receive a small cardboard tray that was nearly filled with marinara sauce, which was wasteful at best. My overall impression gave me the feeling that the facility is being operated at the lowest possible cost point. While the skating itself seemed enjoyable for the kids, the lack of investment in the facility, food service, and event accommodations seems likely to limit repeat visits, food sales, and party bookings. There appears to be significant untapped potential if more attention were given to maintenance, presentation, and customer experience. Not sure the market supports the idea of further investment but there seems to be a lot left to want here from a consumer perspective.

We were looking forward to Donna bring her petting zoo to our 4 and 6 year old sons' birthday party…read moreon October 12th. Unfortunately, due to circumstances surrounding Hurricane Milton she was unable to attend. Instead of refunding our $150 deposit, she said it was non-refundable per the agreement which stated "weather". The weather in Orlando was perfectly fine and we were in a position to host, she unfortunately was not. Per our attorney, "weather" would imply the weather at the venue, not just weather in general. She said we could reschedule anytime in the next 365 days. Our little children were anticipating a birthday party on the 12th so we had to scramble to hire another company to replace Pony Tales. We could not just reschedule a children's party anytime in the next year. Also, the cost of the petting zoo was $550, which is not an expense we would just pay for no occasion. What reason would we have to reschedule this type of party? We conveyed our disappointment to her, and her response was to post our text message conversations on her social media page to garner sympathy from the public and so her friends could insult and disparage us. There was absolutely no reason to do this as we hadn't posted anything online. To say we would not recommend using her business is an understatement. On the other hand I would like to recommend Manny and his petting Zoo 813-417-9432. He was so kind and his animals were great.

We paid a $50 via PayPal then $100 cash the day of the party. She does accept card, but there is a 3% fee. Donna is amazing. She was running a tad bit late from a previous party, but kept me up to date via text. When she arrived she had Peanut all dolled up with ribbons and ready to go. She is extremely professional and handled our group of crazy kids like she's done it a million times in the horrendous Florida heat. I need to take tips from her, lol. We even had a dog from next door dig out from underneath the fence and I was terrified it would scare Peanut, but thankfully everything turned out ok. (On the invoice it clearly states no dogs) I highly recommend Pony Tales! She offers many other services and has her own farm you can go visit as well. I look forward to booking more parties with her in the future and checking out her farm. Thank you again Donna. You made my daughter's 3rd Birthday one she'll never forget!!!
