Also, they are fully upfront with costs, struggles about timing and trying to hold down a job at the same time, housing issues that are different etc. If anything I was impressed that they were so low pressure. Literal quote: It's okay if you end up not coming here. We just want to give you all the information up front so you'll have a good idea if it makes financial sense for you or not.

Many professors get away scot free with mistreating students, poorly grading assignments, using AI generated reviews of assignments, and overall being incredibly inconsistent. Not only was I mistreated, I essentially wasted 50-60k in tuition on 2 years of middle to highschool level presentations and coursework. Only 3 professors total were actually interested in my development out of what, over 30? Most of them simply do NOT care. A vile school for vile people. Do not go here.

We came here for an open house, which included food, drinks, entertainment and plenty of hands-on…read morecrafts. We toured the facilities, the workshops, we actually sat down for some demos from the visual arts department, and then gathered around a kiln for a raku ceramics demo, which was ideal on a cold winter afternoon (winter in Florida?). Also, we were able to visit the gallery, which was hosting a photograph exhibit on the history of turn of the century Lake Apopka, about 40 miles away due West, and that was very interesting and enlightening. We also printed a poster, among other things. Personally, I think it was fun to talk/meet some of the faculty, not that I am immediately looking for a new teacher, but it is good to pick one who has some similarities, or none at all. Challenge yourself. After this visit, I will consider taking some classes here. Or come to more events. I really like Crealdé.

I called today (9 days before the first day) and I was told that it was too late and the last day was Yesterday (10/09/23) (10 days before first session). I pointed out the policy and was told that "session" didn't mean class and it was incorrect so I couldn't get my money back. This is fraudulent. I will be contacting the correct state department for this. This is extremely unprofessional and clearly lacks clarity. If your policy is outdated, correct it on the website. There are some amazing things about this theatre space…read more I love the way the doors can slide open so on nice Orlando nights it's like an open air entrance. I love how beautiful the stairwell is going up to two. I love how much they have expanded their food and beverage line up over the years. The sound tends to be pretty good, the communication from the theatre is always amazing. They waive fees if you come to the box office to buy your tickets. The seats are comfy and almost every seat has a solid view. The box seats are the exception so be warned. The volunteers are always amazing and they are so nice. It would be cool if they opened a second location that served coffee because that line for espresso beverages is always really long. I love the breadth of show types. There's always something for everyone.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026…read more Front Row, Center Tickets to Ms. Diana Ross' Concert Performance I've been to numerous events at the Dr. Phillips Center but nothing beats having the opportunity to see a legend perform within arms-length to where you're seated. And when that "Icon of Icons" is none other than Ms. Diana Ross...well, nothing else need be said. It was a dream come true to say the least. In my most previous update of the Dr. Phillips Center I indicated meeting with and having my photograph taken with the incredible soprano Sarah Brightman was an entertainment highlight of 2025. 2026 has just begun but I will have to use the superlative "spectacular" once again. As in a spectacular show from start to finish. Diana Ross may be 81 years old!...but she still has the voice and ahem...the moves of a much younger performer. Just think of this, she was performing with the Supremes in the 1960's. I wasn't even born and by the time I was she had 12 number one singles with the OG of girl groups! And she is still working it to this day. Ms. Ross sung a multitude of her hits which kept the crowd, and my sister and I, dancing and singing throughout the evening. However, when she started to belt out Gloria Gaynor's anthem "I Will Survive" that really got the audience out of their seats. An Icon singing and Iconic piece of music is an experience second to none. Ms. Ross, you and your mark on music history is unmatched...blessings to you and your family!

UCF political science program is terrible. There was no guidance for me. Every time I wanted to…read moretalk to a professor about my progress and career advice, they appeared annoyed that I was even asking about it. UCF is an education mill. They just want to push everyone through to graduation. Upon graduating, I couldn't even get a job in my desired career field. I was a political science prelaw major and they wouldn't even hire me to be a legal assistant. I ended up enlisting because I couldn't find a job anywhere else. A lot of help my UCF degree was.

Electrical Program: I second the, "they only care about your money" narrative. This school looks…read morenice as far as the facility. When you tour, they show you all the cool lab stuff that you will rarely use. They pack the classes with more students than seats. The onboarding process is extremely unorganized. Everyone is placed in a large room for briefings, then they move you to a room where they provide two staff members to "aid" you in accessing all the required programs. Yet those staff members are only knowledgable in the programs specific to their fields. Then you are sent to a classroom where pre-existing students have been receiving instruction since class started, while you were receiving onboarding briefs and gaining access to required programs. So, you start at a disadvantage. The curriculum has build in labs on the two in-person days. However, the instructors frequently come up with reasons not to preform the labs. Some instructors add a lot of "busy work" that is not part of the Evaluation Criteria expressed on the syllabus. If you are Military utilizing your Post 9/11 G.I. Bill they verify your contract with the VA by classes instead of monthly. So, it throws your pay off. On testing days there is no consideration for students that require an environment free of distraction. There is a department that is supposed to be here to assist students with resumes and job opportunities. They do not respond to emails, although the school is hybrid (In-person & online) and when in person, they ofter find a reason they can not assist you. There is no system in place that provides you with your final grade following completion of classes aside from them being posted to your Student Degree Evaluation Report two weeks after conclusion of that class. Four months in and I have lost all interest and excitement in the field of study I once was ecstatic about.

Discovery Zone was recommended to us by a friend, so we made the switch and couldn't be happier! The staff are experienced, knowledgeable, and truly care about the children. They also want to work with families to help ensure the kids thrive. My son really likes all of his teachers, and he especially loves Mrs. Maholy. I highly recommend this school.
