My daughter attended CBE from 1st-5th. She was nurtured and encouraged and learned so much. She was even placed in a 2nd grade for Language Arts because her first grade teacher saw she was an advanced reader. The teachers there are kind but firm, fun but serious about academics. Daycare is great. They open early and close late. They help with homework and truly care about student learning. Daycare is between 6:30-6:00 p.m. I don't remember having to pay for disaster supplies in public school. I walked by during recess and the kids were having fun in the playground. Its a block away from my boyfriend's work so I was curious. One year is $5300! First grade books are $175 + testing fee and Kindergarten is $150. Summer field trips have an additional charge. Summer session includes swimming time. This breaks down to $132 weekly if your child attends for five days. read more

Great schools cannot exist without a great groups of teachers and the diversity of kids that make this school so great. We have the most beautiful, interesting, interested, and talented children at this school, all due to the cultured and very well educated teachers they have at this elementary. They are truly here to teach/learn, grow,and experience life and they genuinely care about their students. Every Adult and child is enriched by just being part of this school. Love their curriculum , it is always more advanced compared to public school, so it gives Creative Beginnings Students the foundation needed to motivate and carry them though when they graduate. They also offer summer school with it's own fun classes for summer with field trips that the kids look forward to every year. They are taught the importance of music, and several performances are put on by the students through out the year, they love it and creates lasting memories every year and before you know it, you have a very well grounded confident student. My families kids attend this school and some of our friend's kids too. All 3 of my kids have attended these schools, starting from the baby school, preschool, and now the elementary and as long as these schools are around our future Generations will too. I enrolled my son in the pre-school when he was bout 2.5 years old ,he completed elementary school with creative beginnings too! It is a such a wonderful environment for kids to grow-up in, the staff is amazing, everyone knows each other and the class sizes are small. I always felt like the children were safe. They teach at an advance level and make sure your child is learning. They really care! My son has such great memories! Open house was always fun and the Christmas plays were too cute! I am so happy my child attended here and I recommend it other parents. My son is graduating 8th grade this year with a 4.0 and is always scores well on tests. This place gives children great work ethics. I use to volunteer ( which I loved to do) and witness the cook make meals, which were prepared just fine. I entered the kitchen many times and it was always clean. I didn't give it all 5 stars because tuition is pretty high and there are many extras we need to pay for in addition to the costly tuition like an "earth quake kit". Which by the way I never saw nor was it given to me at the end of the year. The summer program is at an additional cost and the playground is small. One of the teachers there I couldn't get along with. She was really strict and sometimes yelled at my son even after I told her he had adhd . But other parents loved her because she was strict. Either way she did make the kids learn. The elementary use to be an apartment complex and needs to be remolded to look more like a school. We were referred to creative beginnings by a co worker who currently has his 2 kids enrolled there. I'm so glad we checked them out. My wife and I were apprehensive about both my girls starting a new school but the entire staff made it super easy. Their curriculum is much more rigorous than their previous preschool but my kindergartener just ran with it. The best part is, is that she really enjoys going to school now. read more

My review is solely based on phone etiquette. First two calls I was told I was placed on a waitlist. Called back a few months later and mind you I only gave my daughters name for the waitlist. They transferred me around only to get the lady who is in "charge" to get on the phone saying how can I help you? All while kids are yelling in the background. No thank you I'll pass. read more

Creative Beginnings has three facilities: toddler center, pre-school and an Elementary school. My younger son attends the toddler center and my older son attends the elementary school. Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Great hours for working parents) They're open year round except Holidays. Not bad! Pricing: Good! Great! I moved from Santa Monica and tuition is nothing in comparison. Two daily snacks and lunch are included. Parents are responsible for books, testing fee and other supplies but this is to be expected when attending any private school. Again, the pricing is reasonable in comparison to other private schools. Toddler Center: I opted for day care and I am glad I did (as apposed to a nanny) because I have seen the benefits of my boys interacting with children their age and participating in age appropriate activities. I feel my son is in a safe environment and I am called immediately if my son is ill. Elementary School: I can't say enough about the Elementary School. My son receives personalized attention because of the class size. As a result, my son is exceeding in many of the categories/subjects. This alone is well worth the tuition. He recently graduated from Kindergarten and the school held a very nice graduation program (the children even wore cap and gowns). The summer program rocks. Fields trips are held every Friday. Swimming twice a week and Academics are also part of the summer curriculum. My son is learning Spanish! The office staff and teachers are great and always available to answer any questions and address any concerns. read more

My son has been going to the infant center since he was four months old! I absolutely love the place and my son loves the staff! It's nice to see him always happy and having fun! Unpleasant front office staff to work with. This shcool charges you for any days that you child doesnt attend. Example: if your child misses (1) day or (2) days for any reason they expect payment for those absences. Also they charge you an extra $120.00 for donations, you have the option to sell chocolates or just pay the fee. You have to pay for all school material & for all field trips. My 2.5 years old daugther is attending the Toddler center and she is loving it. It has been just a month . The teachers are loving , caring and most importantly the Director is also very professional and attentive. They are very flexible with open-door policy and great activities. I enrolled my daughter at Creative Beginnings as an infant. The infant center was always clean and well kept. As she grew she continued into age appropriate rooms. The staff was always very helpful and sincere. The director Yanel was always curtious and very responsive with anything. My daughter has been going to Creative Beginning Schools since she was 2-1/2 years old. I will admit there are schools out there that are less expensive, but what are they lacking. The staff is wonderful, lunches are made fresh (not catered in), they issue "Ouch Reports" to let you know if your child had an incident, Secure, they have homework time (plus for me) and my daughter loves it. Everyone I have talked to has known or had a child of their own go here and it has been nothing but praises. I never take the time to write reviews on or about anything, however there is no way that I can not write one for Creative Beginnings. My older son started in the in toddler center after being switched from All Around the World. Best decision I could have made. They have an amazing curriculum, the teachers are always positively pushing all children to achieve their best. They fill the day with exciting activities to expand the young minds of creativity, singing, dancing, writing, playing, helping, problem solving, the list can go on. I couldn't wait to get my second son enrolled when he was just a few months old. I have had nothing but incredible experiences with everything! From the amazing summer school (swimming and field trips) to the constant care and love from the entire staff. All of the teachers and directors are very easy to communicate with. The classrooms are small which means a lot more one on one with your child. For my children this really built their confidence and character among many other things. It's hard to explain the excellence of this school in one short review as words do not do justice! I have been going to Creative Beginnings since I was a toddler. I love this school! All the teachers are very kind, helpful, and fun. This school is the best school for any kid. It helps kids interact with each other, learn, and have fun. Some activities that I remember were Thanksgiving feasts, Open House, Halloween, Valentines Day, and so much more. Your child will have a blast at this school. Even in daycare, they get their homework done and they get to play. The food is amazing! It was the best food I would ever have. They have personal cooks who make the food and design a healthy menu for the kids. Examples would be like mac and cheese, tuna sandwiches, cheeseburger macaroni, spaghetti, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and so much more. They make sure they have the children's allergy info when they make the special food. You don't have to eat the food all the time, you can send your child with a packed lunches. Oh I almost forgot the best part, the school plays. Outstanding! This school has the best music teacher and main producer of the plays. The plays are appropriate and adorable. Please send your child here. You will not regret it, trust me I am a graduate of Creative Beginnings Elementary School. I came here from a toddler to 5th grade. I enjoyed every moment of it.
