My son has been attending this preschool for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with the experience we've had. The teachers here genuinely care for the children's well-being first and foremost, and it really shows in the way they interact with the students every day. Miss Donna, in particular, has been such a blessing to my son's growth and learning. INFANT ROOM. I give the infant room 5 stars! My son LOVED Ms Lupe and Ms Melissa. He was always excited to go to school. Never cried not even on his first day/week of school. I had so much confidence when he was in that room. Now to what I DON'T love about the school. I have had bad vibes about Ms. Shannon from the beginning. Nothing concrete but certainly felt off. Next, there is NO security! Anyone could just walk in as the doors remain unlocked and there is often no one at the front desk. They claim someone is always behind the window looking at cameras, but if someone random were to just walk in, it would be too late for anyone to stop them from going to one of the classrooms. HUGE safety concern. When we enrolled my son, I was told he would be transitioned to the toddler room when he was 18 months and ready. By the time he turned 18 months, THEY weren't ready. I had to advocate every week until they finally moved him. Everything went downhill after he moved to the toddler room. He would cry every time he would get dropped off. VERY out of character. The way one of the teachers greeted him daily was like she dreaded her job or she didn't like him. I have heard her yell at the kids in that room as well. I strongly believe she's a big reason why he didn't like that room. I transitioned him elsewhere and he has been loving it ever since. Never cries. My nephew has been attending Wonderland preschool since he was 2 months old, and he's now 3. Poor little guy has had such a rough early start in life and when my sister started the adoption process one of our stresses was finding a daycare (1) near our home (2) affordable (3) where he would be comfortable. I am so sorry you had a bad experience. I have taken my kids under Miss Shannon's care for 6 years now at this school and her previous school. Miss Shannon is a huge children's advocate and genuinely loves the kids. She may be a little to the point with parents, but always ensuring the environment at school is perfect for the kids. My children did take a minute to get used to the toddler classroom from Miss Lupe, but Miss Taherahandfed my child for an entire month until he learned how to use a spoon and feed himself. We as parents are happy with Wonderland Preschool and the teachers/staff there. Our three children thrive at this school and it is because of the kindness and patience of the staff and administration. We are forever grateful for the care, love, safety, and EXTREME PATIENCE that these folks have. Their curriculum is pretty good too and summer camp is super fun for the kids! One of our children was having a really hard time sporadically here and there and they were all just great in their response and extremely patient and kind. I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this school and their teachers. Before Wonderland my three year old son never spent time away from mom and dad. We were very worried on how he would behave. Mrs.Donna and Mrs.Sandy were very understanding on his history of being at home (only child). They made sure to make him feel comfortable. I LOVE our Wonderland Family! Miss Mona is very professional, warm, personable and down to earth. Her approach towards ensuring staff that are invested in the core values of caretaking and educating have made our transition to private care the BEST experience. My children have been attending Wonderland for nearly 5 years and my only regret is that i didn't enroll my oldest daughter at an earlier age. My youngest child began at Wonderland, at 6 months old and as fearful as i was, my fears were eased very quickly. The infant class was supportive of my concerns and encouraged me to call throughout the day to check on baby. Daily reports were provided that offered me peace of mind to be present at work, knowing my baby was in great hands. My older daughter began at 2 years old, already potty trained however, they reinforced these milestones and made what can be very difficult transitions, FUN and MOTIVATING for my toddler. My children that attend Wonderland are now 4and 6 years old. What means the most to me is they are very family oriented, demonstrate and teach boundary setting, development of self esteem, emotional regulation, allow the children to learn through play and exploration, but most importantly my children FEEL loved by ALL STAFF. During COVID many changes took place, but the love and fun never seized. The kids went to school fearless and maintained a sense of normalcy when the rest of the world was turned upside down. We love our Wonderland family, every teacher and office staff. Some of our direct teachers have been Miss Ashley, Miss Marlo, Miss Leslie, Miss Donna, Miss Tiffany,Miss Latanya, Miss Mitzy, and Miss Sandra. I don't know what we would have done during COVID without Wonderland. As our family has grown it is with a heavy heart that this wi be our last summer at Wonderland. My child attended this school for roughly a year without apparent incident, but toward the end of this time, we parents were given a Complaint Investigation Report from the Department of Social Services regarding teachers being grossly understaffed and a"staff yelling and pulling children by their arms aggressively." I reflected at this time that my child's own classroom had seen three teachers come and go during the time we had been there, and still had no permanent teacher. When myself and another parent confronted the Director, she made contradictory statements about what she knew and dismissed the accounts. Later, we found out that the teacher directly listed in the Department of Social Services report was NOT dismissed as she is close friends with the Owner. It's not every classroom that is affected, but you won't necessarily know if your child is in that affected classroom as children are not always so good at advocating for themselves. Please weight the positive and negative reviews here, and if you have to attend, perhaps make an extra effort to connect with other parents during drop-off and pick-up and update each other, if anything seems amiss. read more

Here's a list of things responsible parents should take into account when they are considering placement at this preschool for the 2-3 year old class: 1. Staff unprofessionalism - "Director" Shannon is very rude. She doesn't have parents or their children's best interest at heart. She's delusional because she thinks she does. She talks bad about her teachers. She doesn't take her job seriously. When I came to her about problems like: (1) my child being injured (bumps on forehead), (2) non-existent diaper schedule for children arriving at 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., she told me I was "nit picking". The childrent that come early aren't changed until the teacher comes in at 9 a.m. If you want to call to check on your kids, don't do it. Shannon told me I don't have to call to check on my child everyday, and that I was holding up the line in case of an emeregeny. Ridiculous. It takes 1-2 minutes to let me know that my child ate his breakfast/lunch, and that he was in good spirit. If you care about your kids and what they do at school, find somewhere else to go. 2. The toys aren't sanitized as they should be. 2 year old+ children put everything in their mouths. I believe this is one of the reasons why my son was sick everyday of attending this school. I don't believe they sanitize the surroundings daily. As soon as I pulled him out of this school, his health improved drastically. I know kids will get sick, but this was horrible. 3. My child was injured various times, and teachers not knowing what happened. When I try to get to the bottom of it, Shannon takes the side of her teachers instead of finding out the truth. The final straw was a teacher smashed my son's fingers in the door. She wasn't paying attention. Once again, Shannon defended her teacher 4. Understaffed - They aren't abiding by the teacher to child ratios. Don't let them tell you otherwise. 5. They have cameras in classroom and playground but claim they don't work after I requested to see the incident when my son fell. Apparently the owner had something to do with this according to Shannon. 6. Teachers are untrained, and high turn-over. Teachers don't seem happy. At least one of the teacher has a language barrier, and I didn't understand her. How can a 2-year old child understand? All the bad reviews about this school are still true to date. If you'd like to message me to learn more details, let me know. There are some deeply rooted problems at this school that need to be addressed by state licensing. I can't express how pleased I am with Wonderland and my son's teacher Ms. Donna. Just in the matter of a few weeks, Ms. Donna has completely turned my sons attitude/behavior around. I have nothing but great experience with Wonderland school. My 5 year old is an only child and had a difficult time engaging with other kids, Miss Donna and Miss Sandy have helped my son grow a lot. I'm very thankful to have them as my sons teachers. Miss Donna has helped my son develop his speech and interaction skills with others kids making a safe space for my son to go to school every day. At first my son would cry every day before drop off now he's very excited to go to school, his speech has improved and his social skills are outstanding. The teaching method Miss Donna applies gives her students the ability to share and have a voice yet they also learn boundaries and great manners, she cares a lot about each one of her students and the one to one interaction at drop off it's outstanding, she welcomes every kid making sure they feel safe and calm. I was very nervous to put my son in a preschool/daycare center so after researching schools within my area, I found Wonderland preschool. The staff has been so great form the beginning. Ms. Ariel is always so polite and greets you with a smile on her face every single day. Ms. Anne has been my son's teacher from day one. She is loving, caring and has many other attributes that make her such an outstanding teacher. She has taught my son so many things such as the importance of recycling and how to recycle in creative ways, the continents, the meaning of all holidays and this is all before he turned 4. She interacts with all the kids and treats them as her children. My son adores her, and Wonderland schools is so blessed to have a person like this working there. This school is still running wow that's a shame. This school was reported several times hitting and yelling at kids going there. Both my daughters was going here and always would be scared to the point where they didn't tell me what was going on in school. Both told me both got hit because of either couldn't finish food or couldn't nap. They got yelled at and said teachers would see but will turn a blind eye act like nothing happened.
