The first time I visited Creative Child Learning Center was back on November 2011. I met with the Director Michelle, who provided me with a complete tour of the facility. I was very impressed by the Davie/Plantation facility with the layout of rooms, large playground, and cleanliness of the surroundings. The front office and administrative staff was very friendly. My son was only 13 months old when I enrolled him in the Wobbler room. The caregivers in this room are very loving, caring and nurturing with all the children. The Lead Teacher Ms. Rita is extremely caring with all the children. Everything she does come from her heart and desire to promote nurturing and loving care to each child. I like all the different types of learning and physical activities they do during the day for all the children. What I like the most is the capability to be able to watch my son from work/home with their WebCAM System for parents. Below are my some positive/negative bullet points for Creative Child Learning Center - Davie Plantation. Positives: 1. Director and Assistant Directors will make themselves available if needed to discuss any concerns. 2. Rooms and facility are always clean/organize. 3. High percentages of teachers are very caring, loving and nurturing with all children. 4. The option to buy lunch through Yummy to my tummy Negative: 1. The owners will need to come to 21st century with technology, when it comes to payment options for parents. The only two options is cash or check, which I totally disagreed when they are so many payment options available. This will make life easier for parents to be able to make weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payment through bank withdraw, credit cards, debit card etc. 2. Another things the owners should implement on using more of email technology. The use of an email system to inform parents of anything about the facility, updates, closing dates, holiday celebration, and among other topics, etc. I think it will be a great tool to keep parents informs the school. Overall, I give Creative Child Learning Center - Davie/Plantation a good review. At the end, you as a parent are the foremost advocate for your children. Do not assume anything when it comes to your child caring and best interest. You as a responsible parent will need to be involved and develop an open communication between you and your child care giver. Having three kids attend this fantastic school for the past two years, I can genuienly say the care, education, and happiness they provide our children is the best! Each one of the teachers takes their job very seriously in ensuring every child feels welcome, special, and loved. You can see it on their faces when you walk in the classroom and they greet our kids with a hug or when they call you to let you know what is going on with our kids at school. It takes time and special people to help us raise our kids- at creative child they work as a team and look out for the best interest of our kids. We know this first hand as we've made our rounds at the school with Ms. Jen, Mrs. Angie and Ms. Tab, Mrs. Cheri, Ms. Jessica and Mrs. Aixa, Mrs. Carmela and Ms. Juli, Ms. Johanna and Ms. Kay... I couldn't hand pick better teachers to educate and care for our kids. Even the events they offer for the kids are above and beyond! Splash pad in the summer, holiday parties, color and theme days, parents/grandparent recognition days, not to mention always making families feel welcome to attend. Family atmosphere! Even the office staff greets you at the door with a smile and can remember kid's names as they pass through- I'm a teacher and know how difficult this can be- but they make it a point to acknowledge our kids and make sure they feel warmed to the school. I can't say enough how happy I have been with the decision to send our children to creative child. Our kids run to the doors or arms of their teachers at drop off and are reluctant to leave at the end of the day... I hope they continue to love school when they are well beyond creative child- I know they will because they have set the foundation for lifelong learners and happy kids. read more

In 2015/2016, we had my daughter in a different daycare (to remain nameless), and she cried every day. She was always miserable when I picked her up at the end of the day. In nine months there, she never adjusted. In May 2016, we moved her to Creative Child. After the first day at Creative Child, she came home singing songs! She's been a different person, ever since. Always so happy and WANTS to go to school. The teachers here LOVE these kids, and it makes such a difference! Because the kids are so loved and supported by the teachers, the whole atmosphere is amazing, and the kids have a great time. It's amazing how much easier it is for a kid to learn, and eat, and nap when he or she is happy. And the teachers go out of their way to arrange special activities for the kids. It's just wonderful! The previous daycare was better from a parent's perspective in many ways - there was better paperwork reporting back on the kid's day (how much was eaten and how well he/she slept), the facility was newer, there were automatic monthly credit card payments. But there's no way I would send her back. Creative Child isn't always up on the latest technological trends. But, that's ok for me. It's more important to me that my daughter is happy, is learning, and is learning to love school. Besides, the administration at Creative Child listens to the parents, and are putting some of these changes in place. And they do more: they're involved in the community, sponsoring community walks and Christmas toy donations for kids in need. Our 3 boys have been attending creative child since 2007 and we could not be happier!!! My eldest started in the preschool program when he was 3, my middle started there when he was 2 and my youngest was only 7 weeks old!!! The staff is incredible with keeping The kids at Creative Child not only safe, but truly happy. They work tirelessly to ensure that children are learning songs, phonics but also learning how to play together and have fun. They are so creative with projects every week to do with their kids like planting seeds/gardening and tactile art projects. At the Davie campus where we are, it has a courtyard that contains 2 playgrounds, a water play area and basketball zone....oh, and breeZeway with tables for games/reading, etc. Their summer camp is amazing too with wonderful field trips daily to museums, water parks, zoos, etc. Music is always playing on the speakers when I come in the courtyard and kids laughing and playing....and I every time I walk through the courtyard I think to myself how lucky we are to have such a place that we feel secure and happy with our children there. It's the owners and staff that make CCLC such an incredible place.... They all really love children and communicate well to the kids and parents! They are not only kind and patient, but loving too which is wonderful considering there are days when our boys were there from morning til evening....it's "our home away from home" just like their sign says when you drive home. read more

We have two boys, one an alumni of Creative Child Learning Center (now in first grade), and the other currently attending Pre-Kindergarten at Creative Child. We absolutely love CCLC! Over the years, they have taken great care of our boys and have done an amazing job at preparing them for Kindergarten. The teachers and administrative staff are friendly, kind, trusting and very respectful. Our son is currently in Mrs. Mary and Mrs. Maribel's class, both wonderful teachers who love what they do. They always seek ways to merge the little ones' imagination with learning. Both teachers do an exceptional job at building social skills and interactions among the class. Our sons have built lasting bonds with classmates and their teachers. Our oldest still returns to CCLC for camp days, spring break and over the summer! CCLC is part of the family. Since day one they have provided a safe environment for our boys to grow. Regarding the facility, we love walking in every morning to music playing in the courtyard! Classrooms aren't gloomy, every classroom is nice and bright with natural light coming in. Classrooms feel clean and tidy when you walk-in. Access to the school requires keypad entry with additional layers of security to include someone always located at entry points. We struck gold with Creative Child Learning Center, we hope you do to! Best Child Care in Broward County. When I had to find daycare for my granddaughter when she turned 6 months old, I visited several day care facilities that took infants. There was not one that I would trust placing my child or grandchild in their care. A friend recommended Creative Child. On my first visit, Ms. Christina gave me a very thorough and informative tour and I knew that this was the place I wanted my baby to be. I initially signed up to be able to view her during the day on the web cam, but after a month I cancelled the subscription because I trusted her teachers so much. When she moved to Ms. Jenn's wobbler class, I was very pleased with their transition process. Ms. Jenn is awesome. At the age of 1 she learned sign language and I love how the majority of her art projects were made with her hand or foot print. It made it so personal. She is now in a toddler class with Ms. Wendi, Ms. Maribel and Ms.Colandra and I still have no worries when I leave her in the morning. Oh yeah, their Camp Explorer is second to none. My 8 year old grandson attends the camp. He is very shy but Ms. Liz made him feel right at home. All the staff and teachers are amazing. I'd like to share my experience here at Creative child. I am now 20 years old, though I attended this camp through all of my elementary and middle school years. I loved the staff members and the trips that we attended. The owner Brian Ager was always out on field trips with us which made it feel very comforting as if we were family. Ferquently the other locations Weston and coral springs schools would meet up with us at times and we'd have BBQ and relay races and slip' n slides to play with. The directors always made me feel welcome and I enjoyed going everyday I went. Now as an adult I work at the Davie location, I have had other jobs but I feel most appreciated and respected at this job. The directors are very nice and honestly try everything to make parents and their staff happy. Which I truly love, they do not lie or sugar coat anything. The owners are very much involved and genuinely love children. I see them at the preschool everyday. This gives me a secure feeling, knowing that I am working for honest people who care about others as well as the education of the youth. read more

Having visited 11 daycares before determining the right choice for my family, CCLC-Davie was by far the best! My son is in the infant room. Miss Myra, the lead teacher, is the most wonderful, loving, and professional care provider one could ask for. She makes every child feel loved and honored. With a smile, she genuinely greets you. The classroom is bright and clean. The children play, read, create, paint, bounce, and go outside, daily, in the buggy. A cellist plays for the children every other week. Miss Fatima is equally amazing. Becasue she is aware of each child's needs, she knows how to comfort and provide. She, too, is a lovely woman. My experience has been fantastic. Dorothy, the assistant director, is always available and a consummate professional. The security and the playground are topnotch. One can see all of the beautiful artwork displayed in each classroom and there is a curriculum for each age group. I absolutely love this school!!! Both my children ages 4 & 6 attend here. My daughter started in the 3s calssroom with Ms. Latasha & Ms. Kathy & she has always been scared of "new" people. When she started this class she didn't cry & every day she was looking forward to going to school! Once she went into VPK, she had Mrs. Mary & Mrs. Ellen. I couldn't of asked for better teachers!!!! They are sooooo loving & care for her so much!! She has learned A LOT being in here & shows me something new every day. (Thank you!) My son is in the juniors aftercare & loves it. Mrs. Liz is my favorite in there & works well with Apollo. Oh! & Mrs. Erica who had Apollo during the summer is WONDERFUL!!! There are other teachers there that we absolutely love: Ms. Gina, Ms. Julie, Ms. Christina, Mrs. Dorthy, Mrs. Michelle, Mr. Jerry & Mrs. Cindy (& everyone lol). 5 stars deserved for many reasons . I was once a kid going there at creative child learning center for many years in my young childhood. I am in highschool and I flash back to some of my most happiest moments in my life when I went to this aftercare . I would give anything back for those moments I experienced as a young kid going there as I would always have a smile on my face from there fun activities and meeting new people. As for the camp program, it created moments I will never forgot in my life for the trips that include a fun filled adventure as you go to rapids water park or lake placid and have a blast. Looking back I remember all the nice and loving staff they have at creative child to help make your child's stay the most amazing and enjoyable experience. I remember the safe environment the consulers make with there helping hands reaching out for any kid in needed for assistance for anything nesscary. I 100% recommend this place and looking back at it now I wish I still went here today. read more

My daughter is in the VPK program now and she loves it and we love it! Her teacher, Ms. Blanca and Ms. Diana are fantastic. They urge the children to resolve their disagreements through communication. They help our daughter build confidence in a structured environment while still allowing her flexibility to be unique and learn at her own level. We transferred here from a Montessori school because our daughter was struggling in that environment. We couldn't be happier with the changes we have seen in her attitude and her school work. She is reciting poems, adding small numbers, counting down from 10 to 0 and up from 1-30. We really like the extra 30 minutes added to the standard 3 hour VPK to allow the children some social time to share lunch together too. Our daughter loves the water splash pad days when it is warm and she loves all her friends. Overall, we couldn't be happier. read more

This school is amazing! I would give more than 5 stars if possible. I sent my first son there 6 years ago and could not be happier. When my second son came along 2 yrs ago, we tried another school first but we were so unhappy, I ended up moving him to CCLC and was kicking myself for not just starting him there in the first place. He has learned so much since being there I am amazed at the things he comes home with - songs, learning to write even the pledge of allegiance. He is preschool now and his teacher Ms. Carmela is just wonderful! I have had the pleasure of working with the same administrative staff (not a huge turn around there) which makes me feel comfortable. Ms. Christina and Ms. Michelle are amazing. first off I will start by saying my youngest just graduated from creative child. I have been using this school for the past 3 years. I have had nothing but great experiences & going to school has been the highlight of my kids day. I urge you to take a tour. it's free & you can make an appointment or just drop in on them. this school speaks for itself & seeing is believing. My wife & I agree our children had a great experience. this place is state of the art & seems to have the best of everything (they even have their own water park!!!). we are looking forward to putting our kids in the summer camp program next summer. this place just has a great vibe to it. check it out for yourself. My son loves CCLC this is his first year here and he has loved it from day one. I love being involved with his class activities whenever possible and everyone in this school treats you like family. My son's teacher Ms. Meredith is just great with him and he loves her and she loves her students. I cannot say more about Mrs. Cindy who is so caring and treats my son like her own and is just the greatest. They always keeps me posted on his day and are always there to lend an ear and a hug. They are more then just teachers. Most days my son doesn't want to leave which shows me he loves his school. He has learned so much in such a short time so far that I look forward to seeing where he is at the end of this school year. I absolutely recommend this school. read more

I must give this school 10 stars... I registered my child in a different place because the price was a bit more attractive not a huge difference but it saved us some. However after 2 months I was unhappy with the practices of that school and told my husband to go to creative child to give me his thoughts in it specially since I had already visited them before. My husband calls me while there and said why wouldn't you have put her here from the beginning lol he loved it. So we did and we couldn't be happier. We have amazing teachers for our little one and we are so happy with all the activities that our little one does. In addition Mrs tabb and Mrs Angie are so great at getting the parents involved. read more

I would like to tell everyone how happy and blessed I am that chose to enroll my daughter in this preschool when she was 18 months old. She received nothing but excellent care, education and love. She continued thru until she graduated from Pre-K and then came as as afterschooler. She has returned to the camp every summer and has never asked to attend anywhere else. The staff at this school is educated, professional and truly have the best interest of the children at heart. I respect the administration and all that they do for the families in Davie and the local neighborhoods and if you are looking to invest in your child's early education experience look no further. read more

We are so happy to have found this place for our daughter! She absolutely loves her teachers Ms. Meredith and Ms. Cindy. They are wonderful about communicating with us on anything that we could be doing at home to help our daughter to learn in class. She has really blossomed in the short time that she has been there and loves coming home to show us all of the different projects they do in class. It's great that they offer a ton of special activities for kids to participate in like dance classes and tae kwon do. I'm in love with this school! I've had my daughter at Creative Child since she was 3 1/2 months old with Ms Myrna. She helped make a neurotic first time parent trust that my kid would be ok while I had to work. From Ms Rita, Ms Julie, Ms Carmela, Ms Gina, and now Ms Kay and Ms Johanna I could never be more thankful and impressed with their work ethic, professionalism and friendliness to just about everyone. They spend more time with my daughter then I get to and they have helped me raise her to be the most intelligent and sweetest child. If I cud giv dis place a half a star I wud. My child is in one of da classes and Iz learning more at home wit me than in school. I know fo a fact dat the lead teacher isn't equipped to be teaching VPK she came from teaching babies to dis and she be giving the kids baby work to do. Da only reason my child will be prepared for kindergarten ain't bcuz of dis class it's because of me When you go to say anything at da office bout dis they just brush ya off and it's BS! Glad dis program b free bcuz if I had to pay for dis I wouldn't waste my money on dis ridiculous excuse of a vpk class. read more
