There is a plastic two-sided container with handles which opens flat to see all the paints that I love. The paint brush selection, though, is pitiful. AC Moore was more crowded and uninspiring in materials. Although I love dickblick.com, there is a minimum order and delay in getting supplies. There is no one to ask. I had a special mod podge project to collage some porous houseplant pots, and then discovered that the mod podge doesn't protect the collage from water damage. Well, I wanted some fine artists supplies: unisom and schminke pastels, dark and light, winsor and newton or Williamsburg fine artists grade oil paint, workable fixative, and better paintbrushes. It cost too much, but the salesperson was able to answer my questions in detail and direct me to the correct items. Worth every penny.

I had collected several works of art that needed to be framed. Framing is almost, if not as,…read moreimportant as the piece of art. While I had an idea of what I wanted, I needed help in selecting the right look. My parents had used this framer in the past, so I gave them a call to schedule a consultation appointment (I believe you can also do this via their website) and took my items into the shop. Note, they are following COVID prevention guidance - face masks must be worn, social distancing in the store, limited appointments, hand sanitizer, and partitions between you and the staff member. After I arrived, the staff member viewed the items to be framed and asked me if I had anything in particular in mind regarding framing. Then she pulled together several mats/frames for me to view. It was impressive how she pulled what I was envisioning, but with her expertise took it a step further to make it perfect. I was thrilled with everything. And, I was even more thrilled with the price being within my budget. Since I was getting ready to move, they quickly worked to get everything completed within my timeframe and were kind enough to securely wrap the items. They will email you when your items are ready and you can pick up in shop or by curbside pick up. So easy. I am excited to have a go to frame shop that is not only affordable, but makes my artwork be best presented.
