We came a long way to a week-long event and we stayed in Harrisonburg both on the way and on the way back (halfway). I had found the store through Yelp and was eager to visit. We missed the business hours the first trip and got there at 4:50 on the way back. The clerk was so kind to stay open nearly an hour longer so the five of us could shop and see the art and studios. (All of us are artists). She was more than gracious! I'm in a power wheelchair which got caught on the rug at the check out and she was completely unfazed and kind about me thrashing about, causing her to move many things. The prices were a bit steep on many things but that didn't stop me from buying a lot of goodies I've searched for a long time. I left very happy, and so did my companions! It's a scrap booking supply store with an…read moreamazing selection of decorative paper, stamps, distressing tools, mixed media tools, etc. I use a lot of mixed media and distressing in my art, so I love their products. They also have some amazing sales. I have a hard time not wanting to buy all of it! The ladies that work here are always nice and helpful. They offer classes on how to do a lot of the techniques you see around the store, and although I haven't participated in one yet, they seem very informative and fun. Great shop!

Its a fantastic way to be seen, to have your product or vision shared with the community at large and maybe see a profit. While there I found several pieces of art I wanted, and a few I purchased due to being on a traveling budget. I got a lovely necklace and a piece of hanging art speaking of love. The staff was super friendly and we had a good time exploring all of their offerings. They are located in an old train depot which is pretty cool as well. There's also a tourist area in the back with brochures and a staffer ready to assist in case you need some recommendations for attractions and activities. A restroom is available nearby too.  The Depot is, fittingly enough, located in an old historic train depot. It has a small parking lot attached to it, though I observed some people parking in there and walking across the street which didn't seem too kosher.
