Such a welcoming place. From the minute you walk in, it feels comfortable and friendly, like everyone actually knows you and is happy you're there. The salon is always super clean, which I really appreciate. Best part is the nails actually last. No chipping the next day, no rushing back to get them fixed. They hold up way longer than expected, which saves time and money. You can tell they really care about doing good work, not just getting you in and out. I have been a customer of creative nails over the last few years. Everyone is polite and nice but, lately I have not been happy with my manicures and pedicures. Tammy is very sweet (owners mother) but she cut my cuticles on 4 different fingers and they bled so much she had to put antiseptic on them. They hurt for days after and even had small scabs as they healed. I didn't go back for a few months. Last week I decided to try them again. I called again and told Kim I didn't want Tammy because she cut my cuticles pretty bad. Kim didn't acknowledge that I said anything. When I got there a young man named Tom did my nails, he was very sweet. He did my pedicure and after he did my nails he put me under the dryer and then came over to help me put my shoes and socks on. I told him I didn't think they were dry enough. He said Yes and put them on for me. I waited 20 mins for my fingers to dry. When I put my jacket on I messed one up. Kim told Tom and he fixed it. When I got home and took my shoes and socks off, all the polish on my big toe was all bunched up in a mess because the nails were not dry enough to put my socks on. Later on the next day I put my hands in water and the stung like crazy. He had cut my cuticles again. He also wiped the ends of each fingernail off and it is noticeable. I am Done! Went here for the first time today. I haven't had my nails done in probably 2 years at this point and was really looking forward to just hanging out with my friend and relaxing. The staff at Creative Nails did not disappoint. We both had gel manicures and pedicures and agree what an amazing experience it was. RIP OFF !! I chose the Spa Pedicure which was priced at $46.00. One would think that includes a polish. It does not!! I chose a Gel Polish. Upon check out, i was told it was $61.00 -- another $15.00 for the polish. The customer should be made aware of this when selecting the type of service. I would not have opted for a $61 pedicure. The only thing I have to say for Creative Nails is that they are indeed "creative" with their pricing gimmicks. Buyer BEWARE. read more

I called last week to make a reservation and was told that a gel mani + regular pedicure was $55. My friend and I arrived EARLY and I was picking out my colors. Two of the women working there (one of whom was older and seemed like the owner) kept hovering over me and my friend (very much within my personal space) multiple times, rushing me to make a color selection. On the third time of them entering my personal space and rushing me, I asked them not to pressure me and that I needed a minute. The older woman told me that she had other reservations after me so I needed to hurry. My reservation was for 2pm and it was 2:04pm when she said this. Pedicure was below average. Gel manicure was not great. When I went to cash out, the other woman told me that it was $65. I explained to her that when I made the reservation over the phone I was told that it was $55 (we explicitly came here because of their good prices), and she replied "oh my staff member told you today that for that specific nail color it is $65." No staff member ever said this. This woman fully lied to my face. This business is super sketchy, they lied about their prices, and did a sub-par job. Never going back and will make sure none of my family or friends do. read more

Went there today while on vacation in the area. Terrible experience from the start. My technician, who first worked on my mani then pedi, was either poorly trained or didn't care. She did the bare minimum and then less. My nails were filed unevenly, not smoothed, barely attempted pushing my cuticles, and really didn't seem to know or care about doing a better job. When I first sat down in the chair, one of her co-workers sat in the chair next to me and began cleaning his own nails with what appeared to be tools reserved for clients. He then proceeded to clip his nails while I sat in disbelief. So unprofessional, I should have got up and left but was so shocked, that I stayed. the pedicure was equally as pathetic with most of the time spent lightly rubbing, not even massaging my legs. Her idea of heel and foot exfoliation involved rubbing a sponge over my feet - not a metal or pumice file as anyone with any knowledge, would do. For this crappy experience, I was charged $57. I'll never go back there and would never, in a million years, recommend this place to anyone. read more

We were visiting Williamstown during school vacation week and the one thing my 11 y.o. wanted to do was to get a manicure. Creative Nails managed to fit both of us in for a manicure and pedicure the same day I called. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful and we appreciated the fact that C-19 protocols were in place and all staff were masked. It was our first time getting a gel manicure and the staff were also patient in explaining it to us. (My daughter wanted to try it.) Thanks for a great experience! read more

Coming from Boston, we stayed at Tourist hotel across the street from this business. I thought of getting my medi pedi and nails done so I asked the front desk of the hotel and they recomended me to this business. I called and booked an appointment. Walked in and was greeted nicely. They did my medi pedi and nails. Was not that impressed with the service but the price was ok compared to the place I use in Boston. The worse part was that they forced me to leave a 15% tip although the service was mediocre. When I questioned that, the lady at the front pointed me to the sign hanging saying 15% tip mandatory. I was amazed that they are forcing everyone to leave a tip even if one didn't like the service. First time in my life I saw a nail salon forcing the customer to tip and I have been to at least 50 if not more. This business practice will not be successful in long term. read more

We are long-term residents of Williamstown and I have been to Creative Nails several times since it opened up. This time when I was trying to call the business, they kept hanging up on me. We called from my home phone and as soon as they heard her name, they hung up the phone again. This was quite weird and I decided to walk into the store and ask for an appointment. To my surprise, the owner "Kim" told me that they do not want me as a client because I have not tipped her staff in past visits and that she (Kim) has to pay them from her pocket. This is inaccurate and every time I have been there, a 15% tip has been added automatically. They have signs all over their shop saying that a 15% tip will be added then how come they let me go without that tip already added to my bill. I am not sure if they are asking for a tip over and above that 15% which is not fair. It is sad to see that an immigrant business owner is indifferent towards other immigrants. In any case, I have not seen a business owner that is so rude. If you do not want me as your client, let us know directly and not hang up the phone, I will take our business someplace else. We are a small business owner as well and would never behave with a customer the way they did. I approached the Chamber of commerce in North Adams and Better Business Bureau which they are not a member of (I wonder why). We or any of our friends or family members will not go to this business again and will make sure to spread the word around making people aware of their policies and treatment of the patrons. read more
