Visiting Gulf Shores recently our hosts had the most amazing hand crafted vessel sink by a local…read moreartist. I had to have a piece of his work so we set out for Sea Oat Studio. Not only did we find a local shop FULL of fabulous handmade pottery but we got a detailed tour of his shop along with a fascinating narrative about his career and his work. Steve Burrow is a master potter and has been creating works of art all his life. His wife also collaborates with him to produce some of the most fabulous wood fired and electric fired pieces that I have ever seen. Check out the photos. The sea turtles are a theme in many of these unique pieces. Sea Oat Studio was one of my most treasured finds while enjoying the beautiful Gulf Shores, AL area and all it has to offer. Highly recommend!
