I contacted Parke Place Jewelry three times by email and also sent multiple text messages to the number listed on her own website at the time. Here are the facts: * July 19, 2024 - First email sent requesting a detailed receipt for the estate jewelry I sold on July 16. * July 21, 2024 - Second follow-up email with same request. * July 23, 2024 - Third email again asking for the receipt. * Multiple text messages were sent to the number listed on her website: 251-943-7225 (NOT the new number she conveniently listed in her reply). In her public response, Paula claimed: "We did not receive a phone call or text..." She also provided a different phone number (251-223-9953) in her reply than the one advertised when I did business with her. That alone shows dishonesty. Let me be clear--I have documentation of every email I sent and screenshots proving the dates and details. Her claim that she never saw my emails or that I didn't reach out is simply untrue and meant to cover her tracks. This was never just about money--I asked repeatedly for a basic receipt for tax and estate records. Paula refused to respond until I left a public review, then turned around and called me the liar. During an open house last year at this lovely art gallery I saw a small notice on the wall next to a gorgeous painting of birds of paradise that simply said "take art lessons with this artist". I have never picked up an artist brush and haven't attempted sketching or drawing since my grammar school art classes so while I was intrigued I wasn't sure that this was necessarily a good idea however like too many times in my life I thought to myself, "why not" LOL So I made the inquiry and made a New Year resolution that I was gonna try my hand at painting in acrylics. The artist who gives lessons here l, in both acrylics and pastels is Tommy Vogel. He is originally from Illinois but, like many of us, chose this wonderful little slice of paradise here on the Gulf Coast for retirement. He got his first set of pastels when he was 12 years old and he still has them. Tommy has devoted his life to art since 2004 and he volunteers at the local Gulf Shores and Orange Beach art centers doing pretty much whatever needs to be done. It's here at the Gulf Coast Art Alliance in Gulf Shores where he also gives art lessons. He is a self taught artist that does some really stunning paintings on both pastels and acrylics of everything from tropical to still life. My experience has been a truly eye opening one because I had no idea that I could paint but apparently I can :-) Tommy isn't Bob Ross but he has a wonderfully calming and patient demanor that would make Me. Ross proud and unlike this TV episodes, where a sweeping piece of art is cranked out very quickly, we have taken all the time needed to understand the process and truly enjoy the whole experience. Everything is provided in the lessons so you just have to show up, dig in, learn and enjoy. Big thanks to Tommy Vogel for putting me on a whole new path of exploration and introducing me to the joy of painting!! I went to Elebash to find a St Christopher medal charm, that my mother had purchased there for me…read moreyears ago. She has since passed away and I had sadly misplaced my charm while traveling. I was absolutely heartbroken. On my next visit to Pensacola, I stopped with little hope of finding another one. It was quite unique and had been purchased many years before. I went in and explained my dilemma. One of the sales associates quickly started to ask others about the charm, and started to tap into her computer. Soon she asked me to take a look at the screen, and there it was! I literally started to cry. She'd found it! They didn't have it in store, but she was able to order it for me and have it shipped to my home! I couldn't believe it! I was ecstatic! It lightened my heart and I am forever grateful for the assistance I received here. Everyone was so kind and helpful! It was a pleasure shopping in this beautiful store, and as my mother was, I shall be a forever customer.

The gorgeous lettering just flipped off halfway--it wasn't like a corner here or there--it was most of the letters. It's December. The purchase was made in August. STILL NO RESPONSE. Here the FIFTH email I sent to them and still no response: Hi, I've contacted your store several times, using this email portal and via phone calls and voicemail that have gone unreturned. I'm hoping this time, it will get through to someone who can and will follow through on customer service. I come in every year and buy my daughter something special to remember her family vacation. My family has a condo across the street. We've been coming in since the days Ilan and his college age daughter were running the shop. We've been loyal customers. This summer, I bought my daughter an Existing Kids Tshirt in pink with a lovely PK and turtle logo. I washed it on cold delicate partial tumble dry low before she wore it and the letters were flopping off of the tshirt. I contacted the PK Trading Co using this online portal and left voicemail. No response. Another two times, no response. Months later, I attempted to low heat iron the letters back on and it didn't work. I contacted PKTC again. No response. This tshirt is a nice quality and the right color and it isn't wearable. How frustrating. I have photos I'd like to share with you and sincerely hope that someone does respond and make good on this purchase. I plan to update this review IF I receive ANY response from them. If this review hasn't been updated, it's just because there is STILL NO RESPONSE.
