The price ranges vary widely across the pieces and I would estimate that most of the pieces run in the a few hundred to a few thousand dollar range - outside of our current budget unfortunately, but reasonable and expected given that they're original fine art pieces. If you are settled in a home and in a position to invest in a piece, this would be a great place to look for one - lovely variety, with many of the pieces obviously inspired from the surrounding natural beauty. My favorite pieces in the gallery were some lovely sculptures of otters hunting for trout - someday! As it is, I was able to purchase some lovely handmade copper earrings, which I'm very happy with. Would recommend a visit, whether to purchase a piece or just browse!

He attended the art school at Yale University and eventually went out west to Montana at age nineteen, returning to Ogdensburg and eventually his first publishing in 1886 at the age of twenty-five. He is perhaps best known for the sculpture "The Broncho Buster" which has a copy here on display. As well, a number of his other paintings of the west. The images have captions and there are art tours/discussions on a regular basis. I have encountered his works at the Great Plains Art Museum in Lincoln NE, the Denver Art Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. You will know it when you see it.
