This lady is amazing!!! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding recently, and she saved my butt. My dress came in 8 inches too large, with only 2 weeks to the wedding. She was able to take the dress in, plus hem 3 layers and made it look fantastic in a week and a half. She even sewed in some cups after I tried it on for the final time to help fill out the bust (since the dress was made so large, the bust was extremely large and because of the style, she couldn't do anything about it). I came here with my wedding dress on a recommendation. I called and I was able to drive there immediately after. I wanted a slit in my dress which I wasn't sure was possible. She had me try the dress on and gave me her honest opinion on what would be best. I did not go forward with the alteration and am grateful for professional opinion! Isabel is the best! My dress came in super late from the stupid shop I bought it in so I only had a a few days to have my dress altered. She was so fast! She fit me in but I didn't feel rushed. She was patient and really listened to me and all my pickiness. The dress turned out perfect and I could not have been happier with how it turned out and how awesome Isabel was to work with. Very sad to post this review. I brought in a free people jean skirt to be taken in for my step daughter. I had a lengthy discussion with the seamstress who said it would cost extra because it needed to be taken in at the zipper in order to not change the design of the skirt. I agreed, since the skirt had a sold band of material at the waist and then blocked vertical seems below it. When I came to pick up the dress I was incredibly disappointed. The seamstress had simply cut the dress in half, cutting through the solid band of material right in front of the dress. At first she told me it was how my step daughter wore the dress during the fitting. I reminded her that I was paying extra for this alteration because of the extra work that needed to be done. If the dress called for a straight seem down the middle I could have done it myself. To boot the skirt was still to big for my step daughter. The seamstress did not charge us, rightfully so, since the skirt was not wearable for anyone any longer. I honestly believe our skirt was not worth her time. She focuses more on brides and bridesmaid dresses. read more

I will always use Creative Stitches if I need alterations. She was so sweet and was able to alter a chiffon dress, rushed, and while I was pregnant. She did it perfectly and made it so flattering for my big belly. Isabel is the best! My daughter's wedding dress was expensive, hand-beaded and needed several alterations. We were stressed & worried. She fixed it perfectly in all the right places that my daughter wanted. She was patient with my input as well (mother-of-the-bride). It ended up fitting perfectly once she altered, she added a bustle and formed it just right. She added a piece to the chest area of an illusion neckline and it came out as if it was part of the dress, matched the expensive quality. Her expertise shines thru her work.
